Our family is so grateful for the loving structure and care that our son has received from Childtime in Evanston. This learning center is remarkably well managed by a competent and professional team of administrators. Joi, Cheryl, and Amanda set the tone for the entire school with their positivity, attention to detail, and sincere care for the needs of each individual child. We have been impressed by the clean, bright learning environment, the level of communication between staff and families, and the quality of care and instruction provided by the teaching and support staff. The greatest compliment we can provide is that our 2 year old is happy to arrive and play with his teachers and friends, and disappointed when it’s time to tell them goodbye.

Great program! My daughter has been coming here for about a year. Shes really shy and the staff at Childtime has brought her out of her shell. One thing I noticed when touring the school is they utilize something very similar to the nursing process (google this if youre not aware of what this is). As I am a nurse, this program was a perfect fit!

We have loved our time at Childtime (we have been there since my now two year old was seven months old). The staff is really caring and they have taught our son so much more than we ever could have at home (I didnt even think to teach him to count but now he counts to ten!) and he just loves his teachers and friends. The administrative staff has been super accommodating of my weird schedule which I dont think Id find at another daycare center. I would (and have) highly recommend Childtime.

A horrible place to send your kids. I just pulled my daughter out of the school after watching a video of her being mistreated by her teacher, Marcella Webster-Durr. I have walked on a teacher hitting a child, walked on another teacher pushing kids out of her way and now witnessed my child being told not to participate in a classroom experiment while the rest of the kids were. Each time I witnessed the mistreatment I brought it to managers attention, Joi and the district manager, but I was told each time that the only thing they can do is have a talk with the teachers so they wont do it again. Its clear that they care about protecting the teachers rather than the kids. The teachers act playful and caring when parents are present but treat them harshly when they think no one is watching. It is painful and heartbreaking to see your 4 years old child made to feel less important than the rest of her classmates.

I couldn’t be happier with this daycare. My son’s teachers are absolutely amazing. Ms Parlina and Ms Liz and all the other teachers are taking such a great care of him. We’ve started part time, I was pretty sure that it will take my son forever to adjust to a new place but it took him a week maybe and he is full time now. He is bilingual and believe it ot not, our teachers have learnt some Ukrainian words so it’s easier to understand him. He is very sensitive to new people and new surroundings but with teachers’ love and attention I can see how happy he is there. Not to mention Director Joi who is very flexible and understanding. Super happy with our choice and can deffinitely recommend it.

Im sure we would have loved having our child attend Childtime of Evanston. However, when we toured in February, we were told that we would not need to put down a deposit until May for our projected early-July start date. My wife and I decided to go in at the end of March anyways and turned in our applications and deposit. While they were fully aware of my wifes early April due date, over two weeks later (and after we realized and inquired that our deposit had not been processed), we received an email, not even a phone call, informing us that they were sorry, but that they wouldnt have any availability until late September! As a couple that had toured and given our contact information, they should have called us and informed us of their filling roster before it filled completely. This is totally unacceptable for a highly rated facility. If you tour, I would advise putting down your deposit that day otherwise you may be left scrambling to find a different daycare in hopes you can get on someone elses waiting list! Very disappointed.
