5 STARS FOR THE STUDENTS. I have been 3 times. Every Student that has ever done my 2 childrens hair was so very sweet, gentle, and did great work. I really thank them for that. The staff/teachers or whatever they are I guess the people over them get -1 Star. During encounters with them each seemed upset to be there, unprofessional and just not friendly at all. I think one is a thief. It makes the visit unpleasant, which is also the reason I will not be going back anymore. Luckily I got the numbers of a few of the wonderful, professional students I met. The prices were also good except once whoever was at the desk did not go by the sheet.. I wouldnt be surprised if that extra money I paid was pocketed.

They werent as unfriendly as the reviews said but I went in the morning. It was pretty decent. I wanted Highlights, but they only did the tips and my hair cut was the fade I wanted and she didnt cut my split ends, plus I was there 2 hours. But it is a hair school. I would only go here for simple stuff because the price I paid I could have gotten it done by a professional.

The students are nice & always do a good job on my hair but the overall atmosphere is unprofessional. The staff aren’t friendly & you are never greeted when you walk in. The girl at the front desk charged me a higher price because she ASSUMED my hair was natural without asking, when really I’m relaxed I just have thick hair. Be prepared to hear about peoples personal life & curse words here & there. If you’re low on cash I would recommend but if you’re looking for a professional & welcoming environment this is not the place.

The price is reasonable and the girls are friendly and professional. I did not have to wait long. I have since brought and refered friends and family.

I told my son and husband to get their hair braided and it was horrible I can say that is why its so cheap because they dont have a good training teacher never checked on them and the girl said that people think they get paid for the job which made believe that she wanted a tip but my son and husband hair was not professional at all and they just got cornrows 😤 sons hair came loose the same day husband hair was not the greatest their tips of the braids wasnt even done it was a waste of 40 dollars and I stylist had the nerve to say in so many words she wants a tip ! Yea go back to school! If they finished school doing the hair then the teacher needs to be 🔥 because the price is low dosent mean the quality should be crapy and this is just doing men hair simple cornrows? # read reviews before you spend your money #

I went this past Saturday on 5/2/15 and was charged 28.50 when the last time I went which was 3 weeks ago they charged me 23.50. The whole point of going to a beauty college is to get a discounted price and consistent prices. When I spoke to the director or the woman that over the building/program she was real snappy and rude and wasnt trying to help credit my money back. This place is really unprofessional, they are rude and nasty. Most of the students stand around and chat like they dont wont to do any hair. I was really dissatisfied with my visit and will not be back.

This is my second time taking my mom to get her hair done. She has long curly hair. That was up until today. The instructor said it was matted and cut it off. She now has a short cut. If they could not do what I asked they should have told me first before cutting it off. The first time I took her she left out with rollers in her head. The instructor also said there was nothing they can do for natural hair. It was supposed to be a perm, flat iron and curl. Iwill not be bringing her back!

I took my 3 kids there today just for some braids my too youngest a boy and girl didnt like it neither did I It dont even look like they tried my oldest turn out great if I go back I will only go back to see jaz because she did a great job on my daughter hair I wasnt expecting perfection but I was expecting better then that

Got my hair done yesterday I called Ms. NIKKI and she fit me in. I never have issue with staff members. Young lady Quanisha that did my hair did great job.

I have natural hair!! I called in earlier today to ask if they could simply tell me what curl pattern I have. (Come to find out, I have about three in my head.)The young lady over the phone asks if I want them to do anything. I simply replyed: no thank you. I just wanted to know if you could help me distinguish what curl pattern I have, and maybe what I can do to enhance it. She said: Sure just come on by and we can help you.GREAT! Thank you so much, Im on the way.

Im literally sitting here and its 10:30. Fri and they open at 9am. Since then they been out smoking all hours and not doing anything. Get it together FBC.... Lol to Manager who told they people to refuse my service now. Lol lots of petty in the air. But u could of finish and talk to me yourself. Sorry they couldnt get it together. Also to the instuctor who lied and said i pushed or barged my way in door with attitude. I have my kids and i defently didnt touch or have a attitude with her. I had stated that the lady i spoke to the day before stated that they opened at 9 and they let me in and told me to put my name on there list. Smdh the lies people tell there and upset because i posted a review. Yall will be ok.

Okay for starters. I am now aware of why they got shut down. As I walk in I was not greeted and everyone looked like they hated to be there especially the receptionist. She was unwelcoming and rude as ever. The school was empty and that should have been a sign! The length of my hair was past my breast and I wanted a long bob ending at my shoulders. Granted they are students but clearly they had no Idea what they were doing. The instructor not once came to my station and checked out what was going on but stood on her phone the whole hour and a half I was there. I leave with a cut that was just where my neck had ended, Uneven rigged hair cut. I come back and try to get a refund and the instructor says to me you shouldve asked for me to check it like isnt that her job ?! My advise to you NEVER GO HERE !!! I went to Paul Mitchell and they did an awesome job as they always do.

9/17/16Hello...I gave a 1 star just for having an opening at short notice. I thought I was going in a professional business. As I am a returning resident of Fayetteville and really have familiarized myself back with hair salons. I looked this place up and they were open on a Saturday and wasnt booked. When I entered it was only a few Stylist and a few customers. the price was just right and as she asked the Stylist / student to take this patron on she was just not enthused at all. well of course once I told her what I wanted she didnt know how to do finger waves but tried anyway. the Instructor never came around to check on anybody and everybody seemed to be doing there own thing. The 1st stylist/ student was the loudest in the place and talking about going to a club and things there going to do after they got off and was just so unprofessional. She had her shirt up in the back because she want to show the world her tattoo across her behind. Really in a TRAINING /HAIR SCHOOL. Well other conversations that came from the other girls were professional either. Another lady came to do my hair. As the instructor never came and yelled from the other end of the building saying another girl is going to do your finger waves. well the finger waves werent done. I wasnt pleased and expressed tht to my stylist she just said sorry its not what you wanted. No instructor ever checked on anybody. everybody on there phones and no professionalism at all. A few other unprofessional things went on as I sat under the dyer looking around. Who every is in charge of this business needs to regroup the students or train them and the instructor as well. I that was your personal business and wanted to act like that and treat your customers like that you wouldnt stay in business long. So since they are getting these Federal Grant money to run this place they need to be retrained and sum Professional business needs to be going on in this place. Washed my hair as soon as I got home. Wasnt pleased.Will never return

I went there to get a relaxer. They put with a Hispanic woman, which is fine and everything seemed fine till I realized she didnt know English! My head started to burn a little I tried to tell her but she just pointed to the timer I guess to show me its not time to wash it out yet. Another hair stylist would wash your hair out as soon you tell them it is starting to burn! When we went to wash my hair out she only washed it out one time! We got back to the chair and I could still smell the relaxer in my hair i tried to tell her but she had to get a co-worker of hers that knows English to translate what i was saying. When it came to styling my hair she put hair grease on each strand of my hair before flat ironing it. I washed my hair as soon as I got home because it was very greasy. This was a very frustrating visit.

I got a sew in that started coming apart after only one week.The so called hair I bout there turned out to be doll baby hair.They were very nice tho.

This school claims to have discounted services however it’s $75 for a sew in which is regular price in most salons.
