Love coming here to get my hair done. Its always a great experience, the staff are so nice and the students do their best to make sure youre taken well care of. My hair always looks amazing after theyre done.In addition, masks are a must and body temperature is taken before you proceed to get service. In the wash room they have certain chairs closed off to remain an appropriate distance.

I came her for a cut, dye, and style. I left with just a trim and dye. I was there for over three hours hoping my hair would be done soon. Although my stylist was nice, she was just simply to slow.It shouldnt have taken over three hours to get a trim and dye job. I was even charged $56 for my hair being done. Its the next day, and I scratched my head. There was still some dye in my head ! They didnt even tell me that there would be a additional charge for more dye. I should have been informed about the additional charge prior to the product being put into my head. I wouldnt recommend this establishment for a level 1 student if they arent trained further prior to working on customers head

Savannah is a great hair dresser. She is willing to try and do anything that a client wants. She is always smiling and makes sure you are satisfied with your hair. I went from a blonde to a Grey hair with tints of purple and she has done an amazing job. She will now be my one and only hair dresser. Paul Mitchel school has taught her well and I k ow she has a bright future ahead!!!!

Bad experience the young lady doing my hair wasn’t confident at all.She wasn’t sure how to shave my hair she barely shaved it. Ok I understand she’s learning I’m patient, so I just said never mind let’s move on. Next when she shampooed me she barely scratched my scalp ok I’m thinking well maybe 🤔 this is how they taught her. She only shampooed the top of my head, my hair is shaved on the sides & back she didn’t shampoo that part. When I sat back in the chair my head is dripping wet all on my neck she doesn’t offer a towel or anything so I’m still trying to be understanding & patient. When she rolls my hair the rods are extremely loose & she’s dipping the rods into a bowl with some mousse or something😫 I’m just like ok whatever at this point. I sit under the dryer for about 25 minutes she comes back to check to see if my hair is dry… nooooooo my hair isn’t dry I’m barely under the dryer… 😣so I go back under the dryer I’m thinking to myself this dryer isn’t hot… well she had it on medium🤦🏽‍♀️Omg 😳I turn it on hot. My appointment was at 10:30 am it’s 1:40 pm I just told her take the rollers out if it’s wet don’t even worry about it. I’ll make it work. Now this is just my experience 😏😟😩. I had such high hopes & was excited about coming to Paul Mitchell School but oh well🤷🏽‍♀️. Maybe someone else experience will be better than mine🤪🤩😆.

Im so over this whole situation. As you guys have seen Ive been going to the Pual Mitchell hair school faithfully. No issues, Ive gotten hair treatments, hair cuts, blow outs, and color over the months n made a mistake of going to another student. I always went to the same person. After getting my hair colored it litterally faded that same week. I do not use cheap shampoo and or conditioner I use color protection products. I call and tell them my color went from red to brown. They made an appointment stating they fix it for free! Said id get a chemical redo however my appointment ended up getting pushed back a week because the day if my appointment there was flooding and thunderstorms. I call ask will this be an issue with them fixing it? They said NO. I go to my appointment for a chemical retouch and highlights were suggested. I say well lets do both fixing the color and then I pay for something additional because it sounded nice. She put test strands of bleach in my hair and determined bleach would completely ruin my curl patter. It dried my hair so they suggested a hair treatment. So I pay for a hair treatment and by the time she fixed the test strand and did the treatment it was time for them to CLOSE. NO CHEMICAL REDO! I said can I reschedule being understanding of their time ! I reschedule for this week they put it in as a chemical redo NOW WE ARE WEEKS OUT. Hair still faded ! I call to confirm before I go there theyvwould be fixing it for free. They say yes they put it in the system as a chemical redo ! I sit there and the manager tries to get me to feel it wouldnt be fixed and that regardless what they do it will still fade. It wont this ... it wont that. I made it clear regardless I wanted it fixed like they said they would from the beginning. She tried to stiff me with a 20% discount. After having me constantly drive out there to get it fixed and being told it would be fixed for free. I wasnt even mad about the money at this point its the principle. You said you fix it, you get me out here AGAIN..... fix it. So she fixes it then tries to stiff me with a bill. NO. Then to top it off whike getting my hair done they were legit ripping my hair out trying to separate it with skinny combs.. IM BLACK WITH BLACK HAIR N PROUD This girl who did my hair A STUDENT someone who doesnt even get paid there has been harassing me. While there they kept leaving me goofing off my hair is 2 toned! Because one side processed alot longer. To top that off she wanted to complain about my texture which is unprofessional as hell. She is black hell with dreads. Ive never caused an issue before and I wont be back . But this is out of hand to the point the girl who did it (not the school) is harassing me starting drama. She isnt even a stylist and she does not get paid and or was affected from the situation. She needs to grow up. Im calling corporate tomorrow. Facts are on my side its funny because I requested her. Thinking shed be a good person to try but no drama. Obviously cant do black hair and is ghetto. Ontop of it shes lying making the situation out to be something its not. Do not waste your time and or money 💯 i cant help but to wonder if i was a different race if shed go about this differently. SHE KNOWS THE WHOLE SITUATION. Yet chose to blast me for being unsatisfied in the situation like im some hood rat.

I have been a participant in the Paul Mitchell School for many years. I have never been unhappy with my results. On the few occasions that I was not satisfied, I returned to the shop and was immediately taken care of at no extra charge to me. I had my hair cut and styled three weeks ago and believe it or not, I still get compliments on my hair (thanks Tiffany). The cut is so perfect, that all I do is comb it. No hair is cut or styled without supervision from instructors. The cost is even more unbelievable. Check them out. You cant go wrong.

I always have great stylist here. I enjoy going in and getting my hair done and having great conversation with the stylist. Great customer service from the front desk to the styling chair. The learning leaders have always been very informative.

The staff is always cheerful and friendly, the place is very clean and safe.

I have enjoyed five years of using The Paul Mitchell School in Fayetteville as my salon. The staff and students are always courteous and seem to try their best to make me happy. As I am aware, it is a school so the time spent there is longer than a regular salon but the price makes up for the time spent. Over the years I have seen so many students come and go through this place. Fayetteville should be proud to have this school that provides the opportunities to so many who want to advance their careers!

My student stylist was Dena. She was very precise and explained what she was doing, which made me feel comfortable. The outcome of my hair cut was better than I what I expected. I’m definitely going to ask for Dena next time.

First time getting my hair done today with Sarah. She did an excellent job! She did a color correction, full color and cut. When she wasn’t sure of something, she would get her teacher, Ms. Ebony to help or watch. I left looking and feeling great. Was there a bit longer than expected, but that was because she wanted to make sure I looked perfect! Thanks guys!

Had a cut and color by Celeste. She did a great job and easy to talk to. I was super happy walking out. Teachers were always around and were also friendly. Place was clean and upbeat. It did take a long time in the chair, but I was told by the person who referred me that it would - but I got an amazing cut and color at a really good price! Would definitely recommend Celeste!

Came from out of town, closest place with good reviews so I gave it a shot. Walked in for a pedicure and they took me..only had to wait about 15 minutes. My student technician was extremely polite and did a good thorough job. It took slightly longer than a normal spa, but for $9 it cant be beat. Only a few color choices, but I liked them. Surprisingly they do lotion massages on your calves. Nice to be able to help the students with real life clients.

I came here today to get my hair done and Kamilah made my experience so great! She really cares for her clients and she showed how much she loves what shes doing! I believe Kamilah will be successful someday because she possesses good qualities a good cosmetologist should have. Lorna and Selena were a big help too not only to me but also to Kamilah. A few months ago I went to the school on a whim. Well, I met Celeste, and now I make it a monthly visit, and I am now adding my husband to the visits. Its such a nice place, everyone there is so friendly and helpful. Celeste is a dream; she is meticulous and a joy to be around. I am especially fond of the time they spend; might be a bother to someone in a hurry, but its relaxing and pleasant. I am not looking forward to Celeste graduating, so I will take advantage of the time she has left and visit her often.

The few times I have been here has been a wonderful experience. This last time was the best. Instead of doing what I wanted to get money, they were honest with the condition of my hair and suggested a treatment (cheaper than what I would have gotten). They were very pleasant and I plan on coming back to do what I intended.

I was very nervous about going to a beauty school to get my hair done at first. However, the students are well prepared. The teachers are truly there to support the students and make sure you are comfortable and love your hair! Since my first time I have returned 5+ times and also had makeup done for pictures! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I was really impressed after my first visit here that I came back a second time. The first time I had a perm and really loved the way my hair looked and for the price, I had to come back a second time. On my second visit, I had a trim and hair smoothed. I love this place! I have to admit that I was very scared to try it out the first time being it was a school and also because I have curly (not many people can handle curly hair). My first, second and third experience was amazing and I plan to keep going back. Dont be afraid to try them... They have learning leaders constantly walking around and checking things before, during and after to make sure its correct!

Excellent service, friendly workers, great price. You do need to remember they are learning, so a cut takes a little longer than at a usual hair place. But Id rather have them double-checking than not caring!!

The staff was very wonderful for my first visit. I came to have my hair cut and colored. The receptionist was prompt on greeting me and checking me in. I did not wait long to be seated at a station. The color turned out wonderfully. The cut took a little while time wise. I did not like that aspect. Other than that it was great.

This place is filled with fun, eager students and friendly, helpful staff. If you dont love it..they go above and beyond to ensure that you do! 1st rate experience...I went in to get a perm and was told that my hair simply wasnt healthy enough. Miranda (who by the way, was just promoted to Creative) took time to explain and to council me on how to get my hair healthy again...She then gave me one of the best haircuts I have ever had. I will definitely be back.Thank you for going the extra mile to make sure I did not leave disappointed.

I had a great time at the Paul Mitchell School. I have Vanessa L. and she was amazing. She was really sweet and made me feel very comfortable. My only downside is that my red washed out the first time I washed it three days later. It is still pretty but very subtle now. I will be going back again and hope to have Vanessa if possible.

Awesome prices and really sweet students and instructors. The instructors were always around to make sure the process was going smoothly and that I acchieved the colouring results I came in looking for. Only downside is it takes a long time from start to finish as compared to traditional salons. They are students though and still training, so Id rather them take their time instead of rushing through it. Overall great experience and will keep coming back!

The students themselves are amazing. Some of the learning leaders on the other hand push the students to follow only one way of doing something. For my hair I could not have my hair blow dried with a brush and said learning leaders continued to tell my student to brush my wet hair as it was breaking. After a separate leader came in to evaluate, my hair finally was blow dried with hands only. My experience was awesome otherwise.

Went and had my hair shampooed and styled and I absolutely loved it. My hair stylist Diana, was amazing, she was so friendly and gentle as she was doing my hair. She kept checking to make sure I was okay and it made me feel like I wasnt just a client but I was family. I will be going back to get my hair done there with Diana every time instead of going to a salon. They were more interested in doing it correct and making sure the clients were happy than the salons where they just want the money.

I really love coming to this school to get my hair done because, 1, It is so much cheaper than going to a normal salon and 2 they do just as well on my hair. They are super nice and Im always happy with the work they do on my hair. You wont regret getting your hair cut or colored here. I promise!

I was thoroughly impressed with my services here. I was treated great and I loved how they took the time to make sure they understood what I wanted done with my hair. I went in last weekend and loved how my hair turned out! I had great service and it didnt take all day. The people were nice and friendly. I have dry hair and was told the products and treatment I needed to care for it. Overall I had a great experience and am definitely going back soon!

I am second guessing going back as I really havent had great experiences at the school. I originally went in 3 weeks ago for a roots and maybe some highlights. A great instructor talked me into taking a risk and going with an all over Red violet, I was excited. The student processed my golden brown dry hair to remove color and then added the new color. She was sweet but not someone who seemed passionate about hair. I ended up with hot roots, fried hair and had to be reprocessed. I was told to come back every few weeks for treatments to correct/heal my hair...at my cost. I went back last week for a treatment, $20 and was not impressed. Especially since the treatment stripped some of the color from my hair. The student didnt ask how I would like my hair styled and proceeded to spend a long time drying my damaged hair, even though I said that my hair was damaged and shouldnt have heat.Heres hoping the third time is the charm...

I would recommend this salon to everyone, because the students have always done a good job with my hair. It is a salon quality experience, and it also enhances the students hands on experience. Absolutely love this place. I was a little iffy at first to be honest. Only because theyre students. But all their work is monitored by their instructors and after every step, if done correctly, they will get the okay to move on to the next. No complaints here! Miranda was my stylist and I have an upcoming appt with her. Shes awesome! Makes you feel very comfortable and you could tell she knows what shes doing. There is a huge difference, (& you will be able to tell),when ANY hairstylist is doing hair because they genuinely love what they do.

My 3rd time here, very pleased with the 2 stylists Ive had. It will take a little longer because of the instructor consultations but its worth the peace of mind. Definitely a bonus to have the latest techniques for the vivid non-natural coloring I want.

Cody at Paul Mitchell did my haircut and my daughters cut and color. We are both very pleased. He and the rest of the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable on current trends. He helped to educate us on the best products for our hair type. Really good value too! We will definitely visit Paul Mitchell The School for our next hair appt.

The students have always done a great job with my cut and color. They are very attentive to detail and they have done exactly what Ive asked for every time. I give out four out of five because it takes a little longer for them, but overall definitely worth it!

Emma did a fantastic job on my hair!! I went previously for a balayage and a student didn’t do the best on my hair so they offered me free service to fix was what already done and I was a little bit leery given my previous experience but I’m sure glad that I did. The only downfall is time, make sure you have no other plans or schedule an early appointment!

I have been here several times. The staff is always polite and very welcoming. However, it will take them FOREVER to do pretty much anything to your hair. Also, there’s no actual guarantee that they even know what they’re doing. Remember, they’re students and learning.They will have someone fix it when they mess up, so that’s good. But seriously, they’ve messed it up and had to fix it pretty much every time I’ve went. It’s 50/50. Sometimes they do WONDERS and other times they destroy your hair.The price reflects that 50/50 risk.Oh and they do pedicures too- don’t do it.

So I had an appointment with Brittany, and I had already seen so many reviews on her and other people, but when they say shes really good, she really is. I got a perm and I thought for a moment I wasnt going to get it, but she was able to work with me and meet my needs. She is the best, I really love her. Her personality is so genuine and shes really understanding. You need to come here and meet her. I will be back!

Very professional..!! I have been in to see Meghan Davis 3 times now and she is amazing!! My hair is naturally curly.. I am Lumbee and Cherokee with very long hair and lots of it! She blow dried and smoothed it out bone straight!! And it looked amazing for a week. Im back again today!

Sarah did an awesome job with my hair cut and color! My hair was really damaged and hadnt been cut in a very long time. She trimmed up my split ends, added dimension and movement with color and deep conditioned my hair. It looks and feels sooooooo much better. Ive gotten so many compliments. Will definitely be back!

I usually get my hair cut my Elisabed and she is absolutely amazing!!!! I havent gone to anyone else since she first did my hair. I will continue to go back to her!! However, I was going to be very busy this week, so I had to go in on Saturday. I received service from a girl named Marie. She dyed my hair and cut it. She got the exact color I wanted!!! It was my first time getting my hair dyed and she put me at ease. I cant thank her enough for how beautiful it is!!

Paul Mitchell the School is a great place to go to get your hair done. This is my 2nd time here and both experiences have been great. I like knowing that I am helping my stylist get the hours they need to graduate. All of the people here are really nice. We even came here for their back to school event they had last year and my son won a backpack with school supplies in it :) This place comes highly recommended....you wont be disappointed.

I love coming here. I always call ahead to make an appointment, so on busy days I can still get seen quickly. I regularly come here for awapuhi treatment and for any hair service I need. Most recently I had Raquel retouch my roots and she did an excellent job. Very friendly, and everybody tries to make sure I leave with the results I wanted. It can be a little pricey if you have longer hair like mine, but you get what you pay for.

I would absolutely return to Paul Mitchell School to have my hair cut again. I had a wonderful experience and my hair looks exactly like i wanted it too. Caitlin was extremely friendly and listened to exactly what i said. Over all a wonderful experience!!

I went into Paul Mitchell last minute because I turned my own hair green! It was hideous. I was so embarrassed that I didnt even want to take my hair out of the pony tail I had it in. My student hair dresser, Stephanie T. Made me feel, not so stupid about what I had done and took every step to try and fix it. I wasnt able to walk out with a normal color because they didnt want my hair to fall out and Im very great full for that! They made sure it wasnt SO green and told me to come back in two weeks so they could truly fix it. I recommend coming here, they are reasonably priced and awesome.

Great experience as always! Diana C. did a fabulous job on my hair. I had requested it platinum blonde...but its a process, so Ill have to come back later for that. She was however able to lighten and correct my hair. Great job guys!

Horrible 4 hours to get a trim and my hair was greasy as hell when I left. As my mom puts it my hair looks like a weed eater had a field day. It looks like hay. I understand this is a teaching school but an hour and a half to wash my hair? Thats a joke. I went to the Washington DC school and they were amazing out there. I think the gentleman that did my hair needs to go back to the classroom to build up his confidence because when the lead teacher is going and saying he has no confidence there is a problem! He was clearly not ready especially when he did even one cut he was looking for a teacher to help him fix it. I am sorry but I will not be returning to this school in Fayetteville North Carolina again. Oh I cant forget I asked for my hair to be straightened and it looks like hay, also wavy, not straight. I cried all the way home!

It’s too bad you’re required to leave a star at all. I brought my cousin’s child in for hair services. A cut and balayage. She’s 12 and this is her second visit. The website clearly states that you must be 12 for chemical services. It does NOT state that you must have a LEGAL GUARDIAN to sign for services. It doesn’t mention a legal guardian in reference to hair services at all, actually. Well, apparently it’s one of those unspoken/secret rules that only applies to some people. After driving 30 minutes to make this appointment, we would’ve been refused services had my cousin not been available to call the manager and give consent. RIDICULOUS and MORTIFYING!!!!! I will not return and neither will my cousin’s family.Plus, how do they even know for sure that it was the mother calling to give permission? Also, if the child had her hair done one year ago today, she was 11 and too young for the chemical services that were performed then. So, Paul Mitchell School of Fayetteville, DO BETTER. YOU SUCK!!

So I had a complete hair catastrophe when I tried to get black hair dye out. I didnt want to pay hundreds of dollars at a salon to get it fixed, so I came here. My person listened to me, what I wanted the end result to be, and was great! She has kept my hair healthy through the process, was confident, and knew what she was doing! And if she wasnt 100% sure, there was supervisors constantly walking around. I would recommend this place to anyone!

The Paul Mitchell School is GREAT! I am glad that I can let these students help me by giving them realistic training fixing my hair. I will continue to go there, it has always been a great, professional experience.

When I went to Paul Mitchell, I received a haircut & color. Previously I used box dye so I had to get a color correction & a new color. Since I was a new customer I got a discount which is nice. The staff was great & got exactly what I wanted. I recommend them to my friends and will be coming back.

They did a GREAT job on my hair. I got it cut and colored (dark brown with crazy colors like purple and such) and it came out beautiful! Ive had my daughter there for a double process; they didnt care how long it took, they just wanted it to be right. Calling to book another appointment this weekend!!

My daughter went there to get her hair cut and she loves the cut and style they gave her. So I tried there and they cut the dead ends off and deep conditioned my hair it felt like a totally different hair when she finished. I love this place and would recommend to anyone of any hair type wanting any kind of service done!!!Stephanie

The place looks nice and so do the staff.... but Id like for the people to be truthful. My husband called and made an appointment for me for our date night. When he called the secretary was told that I have naturally curly hair. Im multiracial, not loose curls. She told him that I would be placed with someone that was used to my hair type. I get there and was happily greeted and assigned to a student. I asked her specifically if she was used to my type of hair. She replied that shes used to it and comfortable doing my type of hair. We started with a deep conditioning and when it came time to detangle.... she had trouble. It took a while. For the blow drying part she tried to brush my hair starting from the roots and during the duration of this time I had to take the brush from her and SHOW her how to brush my hair and section it off .....a couple of times. Ive never had to do that at any other place that Ive ever been to. Even with suggestions and demonstrations of how to blow dry my hair she still didnt section it probably and brushed it from the middle length of my hair. I had tangles at the end of my hair and she tried to snatch the brush through my ends. When I told her not to do that she would blow dry from my roots and stop at my ends😳. During this WHOLE time not one teacher stepped in to check on us... but had no problem going to other stations with clients with straight hair. Finally another student came over and offered to help and show her how to do it. But after it seemed like she gave up and the other girl stepped up and finished blow drying my hair. After the first girl came back I asked the second girl to flat iron my hair. I havent had heat on my hair for almost a year and I wasnt going to let her cause heat damage when I didnt know if she knows how to flat iron hair like mine. Asia finished my hair and it was beautiful. She said that it would have came out better if the first girl used products meant for my hair. I spoke to the secretary and told her that she put me with someone that had no clue on how to manage my hair but all I got was that everybody is a student. .. yes everyone is a student but if they are not strong in a certain area, they need someone there to help them get accustomed to it. This is discounted from what it could cost but Im still paying for it. The secretary knew that she wasnt experienced with curly hair like mine. My husband and I ended up not being able to see our movie for our date. An appointment that is supposed to last for 2 hours ended up being 4 hours. Just tell the truth. The students are told to tell their clients that they can do whatever the client requests, even if they arent...... which is 🤥 lying. Ask for Asia, shes only there for 3 more months.

My very first time here was last week and it was AWESOME! The students and instructors were very friendly and the prices were very reasonable! I cant wait to go again

The coleslaw wasnt as good as I expected. Hair cut came out great from one of the best students (Carla). The best student Ive in countered while I was there was Emmy. She was very professional and great on services. I will be coming back because of those two young ladies.

I went to get my hair done while on vacation not exactly sure about style or cut I was looking for..... My hair is very thick with natural wave. My hairdresser was Missie Sue who assisted me with picking a great color and cut. I have never been happier with a cut and I cant begin to count how many compliments I have received on color and cut!!! Job well done!!!! Treated well by teachers and students!!

The place is amazing! I was worried at first because they were student but my experience was better than most salons in Fayettville! Everyone was polite and listened to what I had to say about my hair! Style was out of this world! A must go to

Absolutely loved my first experience at Paul Mitchell. Audrey C. did a fantastic job on my daughters very natural hair. She also gave me some great advice on Paul Mitchell products to use in my daughters hair. We will definitely be back!!!!

I have been coming here for the past 4 years and I truly enjoy my experiences here. I do recommending when you go to have a cleared day depending on what you plan on having done could take the whole day to complete. Staff are very nice and accommodating to my needs when I go.
