He is patient, kind, and really knows how to share his knowledge in a way that makes learning enjoyable and fun!He offers group classes, open studio, and one on one private sessions.Be careful though... My husband set up a class for our anniversary back in January and I’m so glad he did! We just went back on Friday to do our painting so I don’t have our bowls or cups yet but when I do I’ll take a picture.Garrett was so amazing to work with! Let’s just say I was NOT great at the pottery wheel but he helped me/did it for me 🤣🤣🤣 Garrett has such a great personality, we had fun with banters back and forth lolIt’s clear he has a passion for pottery and helping others learn. My boyfriend and I took the 4x 3hr small group classes and they were a blast! We made 3 cups, 3 blows, and a small dessert plate. Garret is a very kind and patient teacher, answering all of our questions and joking around with us. We always looked forward to the weekly classes, and now we will be going in for open studio to beef up our skills!

I took my nephew here as a birthday gift. He and I did 2 private lessons as recommended. We had a great time. Garrett is so knowledgeable and kind. My nephew and I had never done anything like this before and he walked us through the entire thing step by step from start to finish. We both made beautiful pottery. I will definitely be going back! Garret is the best! My wife and I took some lessons with him, and he was so kind and patient with us. We knew nothing about throwing pottery and in a short amount of time, he was able to coach and guide us into making two pieces that we were really proud of. We returned for a glazing lesson and our pieces turned out really great! So worth it!!

I had done a Groupon lesson once years ago with Garret, so was excited to see his brand new location open closer to home in the Cultural District of Fort Worth. A friend and I signed up for a 4 week introductory class for learning the pottery wheel. The small class size (4 people) was perfect, as was the amount of time (4 classes, 3 hours each). We got plenty of one-on-one time with Garret as he guided us through making cups, handles, bowls and plates, then glazing. He is very knowledgeable, adapting as needed for each student, offering more than one way to complete something if we were having difficulty. Hes also great at helping to fix any mistakes we made and has a ton of patience! The studio is bright, airy and relaxed. Finished pieces were ready right when he said theyd be and they turned out great. I plan to go back for additional classes as well as open studio time. Highly recommend!

I just finished my first round of classes and not only was I thrilled with the skills I learned but how quickly each class helped to build my confidence significantly. I have taken wheel classes in the past but just didn’t “get it”. Garret was able to zero in on what technique would work best for me. Not only is he a gifted artist, he is also an awesome instructor. I bought a pottery lesson for two from Garrets studio and took my daughter. It was awesome, he is such an amazing instructor. He teaches the basics while ensuring you are making something you will want to keep. He is patient and extremely helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience immensely. If youve never done pottery and want to give it a shot it is a great experience and there is no better place to give it a shot.

My wife and I for our 9th Anniversary decided to take Garret’s private pottery class. It was a great experience both times (pottery + glaze). He’s a great teacher and very patient. This is a great date night activity.

I was impressed with the student set-up. Instruction was wonderful. For a beginner who has never seen a potters wheel, I was left feeling confident and knowledgeable of basic skills. I would recommend these classes to anyone wanting to learn or further their pottery skills. FUN,FUN,FUN!

Today my fella and I partook in a couples pottery class where I got to use a wheel for the first time. We made TWO pieces each, a cup and a bowl. Garret was a superb instructor, utilizing clear concise instructions, hands on form and placement techniques, and a BRIGHT happy go lucky personality. I couldn’t have hoped for a better experience. He was so encouraging and fun. We can’t wait to come back and glaze our pieces AND spend more time in his studio!

Garret is an amazing teacher and is able to walk you the clay working process with flexibility and ease. 1 class and I was hooked. They guys were very patience with myself and my 8 year old. We loved the cup and bowl that was made with our hands. All kids should be exposed to this form of artwork. I would love to come back for another lesson in the near future.

I have been wanting to take a pottery lesson class for a while and I was very glad that I found Garrets pottery class. Garret was awesome, very nice and patient teacher and obviously a fun loving person. I took a date there and she loved it too. I took the wheel throwing class and surely will go back for the glazing class.

Garret is a great teacher. Ive had two pottery sessions thus far and during the second was able to create a much more advanced piece. He is really good on teaching technique and style. I made a goblet in just my second session.

I took a couple classes from Garret and really enjoyed both of them. He was a great instructor, very patient and fun! I was able to choose what style of pottery I tried and he was always helpful with suggestions and improvements. I would definitely take more classes!

Our 10 year old daughter participated in a summer pottery camp. She absolutely loved it and learned a lot. Everyday she got to make a different piece of pottery on the wheel, with the pieces getting progressively larger each day. The last two days she made a large vase, which was actually made up of two separate pieces that she had to put together. Garret fired and glazed the vase for her, which made it extra special. It is now our centerpiece for Thanksgiving. He is a great teacher and made the class fun, but also taught them the fundamentals of pottery making. It was all around a great experience and I would highly recommend it for kids and adults alike.

Garret was a polite and fun pottery instructor. I bought a Groupon for a one hour pottery class for two people. We each made 2 pieces on that hour and walked away with some basic techniques. Fun time. Would highly recommend.

I bought a groupon for a one hour pottery class for my 2 daughters. I was expecting to have to help them as part of a class. They ended up getting a personal lesson and Garrett helped them with everything! I was able to just stand back and video tape the whole thing. My girls asked when we were going to do it again before they even finished their 2 pieces!
