I am very pleased with my experience at KSD. The instructors are patient, well trained and make the experience fun for all ages. I definitely recommend KSD for women as it is so much more than just self defense.

MUST JOIN!! Whether your a beginner or have had training before, Keller Self Defense is tailored to all levels. Male, female or youth. The gym is clean and welcoming. The owner and instructor (Kirk) is very professional and patient. I signed myself (36) and my daughter (12) up not knowing what to expect, neither of us has ever had any self defense or weapons training. Wow, intense stuff. Fun and challenging. Learning how to defend against real life situations. If your thinking of taking Krav Maga for self defense, self confidence or a way to improve your health, you will accomplish it here. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed. Its all my daughter and I talk about and we are enjoying the benefits and time together.

This gym stands in great contrast to the multitude of shady gyms that I have dealt with over the years. Keller Self Defense will not try to get you into a contract, and they offer the best trail membership I have ever seen from a martial arts gym.The facility and equipment all appear to be new. The staff are friendly, well versed Krav Maga professionals. What else could you ask for?

Keller Self Defense has a great family atmosphere. Everyone is very welcoming, both staff and students, and I always leave with a smile on my face. The class sessions are a great workout, and the techniques are SUPER intuitive. I feel more able to defend myself (and in better shape) after every class.

My son was looking for a martial arts program, but none of the dojos we checked out seemed like a good fit. We stopped by the The Keller Self Defense gym one day and Kirk was really helpful and friendly.My son tried a trial class and was hooked. My wife and I are very happy with the growth we’ve seen in our son’s self confidence since he started taking Krav-Maga at Keller Self Defense.

I have attended this school for several months. Soon to be 67 years old, I had a concern that the training would be too much for me. It is not too hard on my body at all. I am learning some great new skills, staying in better shape and keeping my joints more limber. The teacher(Kirk) is extremely well trained and a great instructor. I have taken other martial arts over the years. Krav Maga is much more up close and personal than the others and I look forward to my continued growth in this Art. He offers noon classes, night classes and on Saturdays Tactical training. If you are interested, come watch a class. I think you will be glad that you did.

The owner, Kirk Taylor, is very effective at breaking down complicated techniques to help students learn. Im amazed at what Ive accomplished under his instruction.

I went to the Womens seminar and was amazed at how much I learned so I started taking the Womens Self Defense classes. Ive been going about a month and every class teaches me something new. The instructor is patient and knowledgeable. He doesnt baby you but he doesnt make you feel like an idiot either. Lol I was really nervous before I started because I couldnt convince any girlfriends to go with me and its way out of my comfort zone but Im so glad I tried it! I wont be missing a class anytime soon!
