For the 1st time, I can confidently say that my son (age 12) has finally found his passion! Its Taekwondo!! And we owe it ALL to Master Kims Martial Arts Center! Where do I start? From their amazing staff: Carrie (front office with pizazz, heart, and skills!), Master Kim (of course! Hes incredible and consistently there to nurture and guide his dojang), and the extremely talented, patient, and knowledge instructors, Mark and Eli...I cant thank them enough. If you desire a state-of-the-art facility (clean, spacious, and plenty of room to spectate) and unmatched quality training and passion---MKMAC is the place to be! Seriously, do it!!!

I had been looking for an extracurricular activity for my daughter for a long time but she was not interested in organized sports ,She expressed an interest in wanting to try martial arts and I signed both of my children up for the free trial lessons to test it out. Both really enjoyed the private and group lessons included with the free trial, and i signed them up for several weeks of summer camp. I cant say enough for the experiences that they had in summer camp and they both preferred it over the places that we had taken them in years past. At the end of the summer, we signed my daughter up for lessons and we couldnt be happier.The office staff, Master Kim and all of the junior instructors are incredible and really take the time to learn about each student and work with them each class. Were very excited to see her progress as time goes on. I also appreciate that they offer special classes - inviting friends and parents to come as well as parents night out.I fully recommend them to anyone considering martial arts.

I started training with my son at Master Kims recently. Although my son is normally a homebody, he looks forward to our sessions. We are both uncoordinated, and my son easily distracted, but Master Kim and his staff are patient and explain each step so we understand why it is done. It has become a great father-son activity. It should also get me back in shape.

Our family loves MKMAC! We’ve been going for a few years as a family and now our second youngest has joined us for weekly classes. My overall health and energy have improved in the last 2 years and I love being able to spend time with my kids in class (and now I help volunteer for a few classes and events to spend more time with them)The new facility is HUGE and it looks amazing! Definitely check it out and do the trial (it’s worth it and got me hooked).

MKMAC I highly recommend to anyone. It is an amazing facility with an extraordinary staff. Everyone there is courteous and always willing to help. If you have never been there I cant stress enough that you should.

My son has only been going for about a month and a half and has shown phenomenal progress. Watching him through the glass hes all smiles and loving life. The staff is great and Master Kim always finds the time to make it around to greet all the parents and guests.

My son was recently at another dojang And for some reason was hasnt sent to go and did not enjoy it. Since hes been at Master YJ Kim Martial Arts He absolutely loves it, he looks forward to going, and hes been practicing at home to make his instructors proud! Im happy we made the switch!

Instructors are great. Master Kim is exceptional with the students. I have seen not only in my grandson, but other students, an increase in confidence, respect and discipline. Students are treated like individuals, no matter the size of the class, no one gets lost or cast aside. Would definitely recommend.Almost three years and counting. My grandson is progressing well, still enjoys learning and leading. Not to many other venues where a 9 year old leads, both younger and older. Amazing to watch the positive change in many of the students.

My son has been going to Master Kims for 6 years now and loves every minute of his time there. My daughter also goes and has made some new friends too. Theyre VERY family oriented and make sure that everyone knows that theyre part of the family. I wouldnt want to be anywhere else. Were really a big family there!

The Little Tigers program here is fantastic! The instructors are incredibly patient with the little ones but still maintain a reasonable expectation of respect & obedience from them. They make class fun for the kids by incorporating play & plenty of laughter along with teaching the fundamentals of Taekwondo. We truly appreciate their focus on reinforcing core values as well. Ive had some of the most impactful conversations with my 5 year old after class because he wants to discuss the word of the month to understand it more fully. My sons confidence level has soared since beginning this program, he has learned to set goals and work hard to achieve those. I highly recommend this place!

I love how Taewondo taught me to be strong, taught me how to get over many challenges might come and my mind..It great workout for anyone wanted to improve your health and mind. Master Kim and his instructors are amazing. They are highly knowledgeable and provide a well structured program. They are patient yet firm and they ensure that students actually no the skills before awarding them any advancements.Instructors are really good with children with special needs. This program has been amazing for our son, we have seen major improvements in his physical fitness, coordination and his social skills.

My 6 year old son has been attending Master Kim’s classes every week for over a year now, and he enjoys it so much. They have amazing instructors and awesome staff. My son has been attending Master Kim’s for a little over a year now. He started off in the little tigers class. Master Kim and the other instructors always have such great patience with the kids.

My almost 4-year-old daughter began taking classes at MKMAC in November. She LOVES going there, and if it were for her, shed be going on a daily basis. The instructors are incredibly patient, supportive, helpful, and always with a smile on their faces. The first weeks she was impossible (lack of focus, doing her own thing, not being good at following directions... you name it), and now she participates more, follows directions better, and slowly but surely she continues to improve. Of course theres room for improvement, but Im confident the MKMAC family will help her with that! Im beyond happy I made the decision to enroll her in the Tiny Tigers program, and were definitely here for the long run. Everybody Ive met there is extremely nice and helpful, Master Kim is always very attentive and greets every parent when we get there, and I love the new place. Thank you for letting us be part of your tae kwon do family!

My two girls have been going to Master Kim Martial Arts Center since July of last year and they love it. Its challenging , yet rewarding. Theyre learning more than just kicking and punching, theyre learning self confidence, respect, teamwork, and hard work. Master Kim’s instruction has benefited my whole family. By taking classes together, we make time to cheer each other on and strive to Improve together. Confidence and Respect are something that many children lack in todays society. Taekwondo is a sport that teaches these fundamentals and many more to our future society. One of my daughters started when she was 3 year old and it was one of the best decisions we have made towards both her physical and emotional development. MKMAC has excellent training for all ages. They are very family oriented and you will feel like you are at home with them.
