My daughter loves Creative Kids Preschool. Mrs. Denise is sweet and caring to all of her students. Her place is so inviting and provides a fun, educational space for the children. There is plenty of play time, but also activities that help the children prepare for kindergarten. Mrs. Denise’s artistic talents add a wonderful touch with her special themed projects. There are plenty of hands on activities, outdoor play, extra field trips, and special events for the children and even their families to enjoy. Our daughter is safe, learning and having so much fun. My family is very happy with our choice of Creative Kids Preschool of Fredericksburg!

I am a grandma and felt I needed to let everyone know how impressed I am with Creative Kids Preschool. My daughter and I visited many different schools. It was so scary to trust someone with my one and only grandchild. As soon as I stepped thru Denises front door, I knew my grandson was going to a special place. He let go of my hand and took her hand without any fear as she got to meet him. He trusted her and that was HUGE for me!! My grandson is thriving and cant wait for school days. Her curriculum has made him ready for kindergarten! There will never be enough words to thank Denise for teaching and loving my grandson!! My daughter has been attending Creative Kids Preschool for the past 2 years, and she absolutely loves it. Ms. Denise not only fosters a strong learning environment, but also a sense of community and family with the kids and parents alike. She keeps their minds and bodies busy with activities, outdoor time, reading, etc. My daughter will no doubt, be prepared for kindergarten after her time spent with Ms. Denise. The communication between Denise and the parents is great!! Her home allows for the kids creativity and minds to thrive, while allowing us, as parents, to know that our kids are in a safe and comfortable environment. I couldnt be more happy with Creative Kids Preschool and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, encouraging learning space for their children!!

We’re so thankful to have found Creative Kids! Our daughter loves Mrs. Denise and Mr. Mike and looks forward to going to school. They truly care for our kids and create such a fun and nurturing learning environment. My husband dropped her off on her first day alone because I didn’t think I’d be able to handle her tears and not wanting us leave, but she didn’t even cry - she felt so comfortable with them right away. My daughter loves creative kids preschool! Mrs.Denise is a wonderful teacher! Our entire family love her! My daughter loves coming to school and always enjoys her day with Mrs. Denise and all her other classmates/friends. She has also learned so much more attending creative kids. We can’t wait for our youngest daughter to be old enough to attend! Creative kids preschool rocks! It’s not only affordable but very flexible and Mrs Denise is very understanding and easy to work with. And my favorite is that she genuinely loves her students, I love how she interacts with them and all the activities she does with them. I cant say anything bad about this preschool. Mrs. Denise and her husband are God sent. My 3 year old son has been attending her program since September of 2016 and he absolutely loves it. My husband and I looked for a program that was priced reasonably and would allow my son to grow socially as well as academically. We found it here. Her home is a loving environment which fosters the growth of our toddler in every way. He often comes home singing songs that he has learned in class that day. His class is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-12 and she has an older class that is held Mon/Wed/Fri. He has gone on field trips and my husband and I have joined them (lots of fun) and he has structured lessons along with homework. There are 6 children in his class which allows the children to form close bonds. I think it even allowed us as the parents to form close bonds. I could not have asked for more. Its so much more I could say but I will just say this...you wont regret it if you place your child in her care. I know some of you may need longer hours but if you just need a place to give yourself a break a few hours in the week while knowing your child is learning and being well taken care of then this is the place for you.

I luckily found Creative Kids shortly after an unexpected move to the area, and I couldnt be happier with the education my daughter had been receiving. Ms. Denise is a wonderfu , caring, and empathetic teacher who truly understands what children need at this stage in their development. My daughter is more excited about learning than ever before and is much more engaged in developing her skills since beginning school here. This has been the perfect experience to prepare my daughter (and even myself) for kindergarten next year.

We absolutely love Creative Kids Preschool! My daughter started this year and in only a few months she has grown tremendously, both socially and academically. Ms. Denise is wonderful with all the children and my daughter constantly talks about how much she loves school and wishes that she could go every day! Ms Denise does a fantastic job of fostering a love of learning from an early age which is great! There is a good balance between play and structure which is perfect for preschoolers. They have homework that helps reinforce what was taught each day, while still being appropriate for their age (both in length and difficulty). The learning environment Ms Denise has created lets the kids explore and learn through indoor and outdoor play, hands-on activities, crafts, field trips, singing, dancing and more. The small class size is a definite plus and allows for a lot of one-on-one attention that you might not have in some of the larger preschools. Being a military family, we had to rely on the internet for our initial preschool search. The reviews that I read were fantastic and then we came and visited the preschool and immediately knew it was a perfect fit. I couldnt be happier with our choice and look forward to sending our daughter here next year for the 4s class!

My daughter had an absolutely amazing experience in preschool and that is all thanks to Mrs. Denise at Creative Kids Preschool. Denise, her husband, and even her youngest son had such an impact on my daughter. She was so well prepared for Kindergarten that she surpassed most of her classmates early on in the year. There were so many sweet memories that my daughter made while she attended Creative Kids, from the little projects they made to the tear filled graduation party where Denise read personal letters to each of the students. My daughter walked away with so much more than an education and for that I am so thankful I chose to send her there. This has to be the best Preschool in the area.

Our daughter is currently enrolled in Our Creative Kids and she absolutely loves it! Everyday she comes home with cute little projects shes worked on with Ms. Denise and her class! We have seen huge improvements in her number and letter recognition, and only after 4 months (classes 3 days a week, not including holidays) she can already write her name by herself! I highly recommend Our Creative Kids to any parent looking to put their child in preschool!

We have only good things to say about Creative Kids Preschool! Ms. Denise created a nurturing and supportive environment where our daughter was able to socialize with other kids while learning about some of the routines and structure of a school setting. They kept busy with fun and creative projects and were given the opportunity to play and explore outdoors, as well. Our daughter learned that school was a fun place to be, which has made for a very smooth transition to kindergarten. Ms. Denise seems to have a genuine affection for the kids in her classes. We plan to send our son to Creative Kids when he is ready for preschool, as well.

We love Creative Kids Preschool. It is a smaller group of kids and Ms. Denise is so good with each and everyone of the children. Our daughter always looks forward to going and she is developing and learning so much. We would definitely recommend Creative Kids to anyone in the Stafford/Fredericksburg area. So glad we found out about it.

This is my 3rd year with Creative Kids Preschool. My oldest, and now middle, child have learned so much about not just letters and numbers but also being in a structured environment.*edited to add*I had 3 children go to Creative Kids and they all had a wonderful experience. I cannot recommend the school enough.

Our son is currently enrolled in his second year at Creative Kids Preschool with Ms. Denise. He absolutely loves it there! Ms. Denise has created a very fun, structured and loving environment for children to learn and prepare for kindergarten. We have two younger children who we will gladly send to Ms. Denise as well!

SOMETHING SPECIAL! We scrutinized every available preschool. None felt 100% perfect. Then we interviewed with Denise Shields. We immediately felt different. We expected our child to learn, play, make friends, and thrive, but...we could not have predicted a truly unexpected outcome. All the parents involved, along with Denise and her husband became an amazingly functional family dynamic. We all supported one another and the children, whether in the class environment or outside. I mean everybody, no matter how diverse. For 2 years. Thats eight kids, their siblings, extended families. We saw a great deal of each other on non school days. Birthdays, yes, but picnics, parks, pools, malls, movies, our homes etc just because we wanted to be together. As a result we watched 8 little kids grow and change exponentially in the most positive ways. Every one of these kids is better for the experience. Denise puts her heart and soul into the development of her kids. For her this is not an occupation, but aside from her own 4 children, her lifes work. For this we are grateful. This set the foundation for our child for all learning and socialization to come. I wish the same for all children.

Denise is a wonderful teacher whose patience never ends and who will love your kids like you do! Roman couldnt wait to get there each day and his little brother cant wait until its his turn to have Miss Denise!

My son Dereck attended Creative Kids Preschool and he enjoyed as much as we did. Coming from a Puerto Rico school environment we saw that the schools settings and methods are significantly different in the States; we were afraid of him not getting used to the changes, but Mrs. Denise made that process so easy and fun for him that we were surprised. She encourage him to do better each time and helped him grow academically, allowing his English language to develop even more. Today, my son is in second grade and previous and current teachers just say good things about him. Creative Kids gave him the opportunity of socializing in a safe and fun environment while teaching and preparing him for bigger challenges. He loves Mrs. Denise and there are moments when he says I miss Mrs. Denise, I would like to be in her class again. As a mother I recommend 100% Creative Kids Preschool !! We need more teachers like Mrs. Denise!!

Our daughter Calista went Creative Kids Preschool. My husband and I were very fortunate to have met Denise who was my daughters teacher for 3 years. She was kind and very compassionate toward the children. Her classroom curriculum was structured in a way that your child would received the best education because of the small amount of students. Its basically, a more one to one teaching method. Ms. Denise provided warm and caring environment where students learned social skills, academics and have fun everyday. As a result, it developed close relationship between students and teacher. When Calista graduated last June, she was saddened that Ms. Denise, as most students called her, would not be her teacher anymore. She is in kindergarten now and doing very well in school both socially and academically. There is no doubt that Ms. Denise had prepared her for it. It is for this reason that we highly recommend Creative Kids Preschool.

I was fortunate enough to be able to stay at home with my daughter Laila for the first 4 years of her life. Around age 2, I really started to feel like it was important for Laila to start experiencing learning in an environment with other kids. My wife and I sent our daughter Tayler to Creative Kids Preschool for two years before she started kindergarten. She loved it! Mrs. Denise is a great teacher. Tayler is in the first grade now and still talks about going to school there. As parents, we loved the caring environment that was always about learning, but it was always fun and full of activities for the kids.
