We paid for trial class and then had to reschedule for some emergency reason. They said they cannot reschedule or cancel the trial class and did not refund or adjust the amount. Not flexible at all. We lost our amount paid for trial class. They never informed us upfront about this. Bad experience!! Make sure to know the terms before paying for trial classes.

From the very first time I called to inquire about the classes they offered they were pleasant & knowledgeable. My daughter was too young at the time for what we wanted but we were given other options that will help her grow into the next class. My daughter looks forward to her class all throughout the week. She shares her experience with everyone.During this difficult time of the pandemic, Frisco School of Music has taken every precaution to keep themselves & our children safe & happy! My daughter will be a student for years to come!Thank you to all of the staff for keeping my daughter excited & looking forward to her classes each week! She loves you guys & so do I, you are all much appreciated!

Easily one of the best music schools in the area. My child has completed four children’s piano books in just one year AND four children’s theory workbooks and that was with half the year in group lessons and half the year with private. No matter what course you take at the school, it will lead to success.

I took my daughter to tour the facility and early on Kelsey (employee) let on that I would need to sign a 10 month contract. I stated that I would definitely not entertain signing a contract for my 11 year old daughter to take acting lessons. Kelsey replied , and I am paraphrasing, Dont worry, you can get out the contact at any time. We decided to take a trial class, which the school calls a consultation. The next day I called to say my daughter enjoyed the class and we wanted to sign up. Then the truth began to slowly emerge. Yes, I have to sign a contact that runs through July 2018. No, there are no outs. If you miss class, too bad, we dont provide make-ups. Oh, you want too taker a family vacation next summer, well, go right ahead, but you still pay the school and, did I mention, we dont do make-ups. Frisco School of Performing Arts is a good fit for many families, but not my family. We prefer to be treated honestly and with some amount of respect and flexibility.

🎼100% recommend Mrs. Shafagh for Piano lessons. I can’t say enough about how friendly and encouraging she is! 🎹They offer Online Piano classes during the Pandemic (Covid19) and I would say the quality is as good as the in-person Piano lessons before the Pandemic. All I can say is, I definitely recommend Shafagh at Frisco School of Music if you’re looking for an amazing Piano instructor for Kids in Frisco, Texas. 👍🏻She’s also fluent in Persian if you need a Farsi speaking Piano Tutor in Dallas Fort Worth for kids. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My son is in piano class with Mr. Jordan and he thrives so much! I love how Mr. Jordan allows his creativity to shine and and lets my son learning at his own rapidly pace! Also all the front staff at school is so friendly, helpful, organized and knowledgeable!

I was a preschool music teacher and piano teacher at Frisco School of Music. It was a joy to teach here. The staffs are like a family. They are gracious to give advises when you meet troubles. Also the performances are fascinating and kids are cute. After one years working here, I have grown so much, from a fresh graduate to a professional educator.

Just an update: What an amazing experience. Everything from the institution to the staff is beyond impressive. Special shout-out to Kelsey, the most helpful and personable staff member I’ve ever met.Wow! My son joined a Rock Band at this school along with having private drum lessons. The Rock Band show was so much fun - all student bands performing several songs. He just loves the band rehearsals and his teacher (who is a real band member who plays around town). Thanks for a great show and lots of positive vibes for the kids.My son begged for drum lessons.  He wanted private lessons but we started with the drum class first. He had some basic skills in the class and it is gong well. The teacher is supportive and helps discover his passion for music. He likes the group atmosphere and teacher helps each child at their individual pace. We had a performance class and he was very proud to show us what he has learned. We are thinking of getting a drum set for him to play at home.

I was excited to learn that their was a program for the summer that would teach kids the performing arts. I looked on line and found the frisco school of music. My wife and I planned out my sons summer camp. On their website it site it states very clearly that you can text or call to register for the camps. So on May 19th which was a Sunday. I sent the text in wanting my son to be registered for the class. There were 2 classes that he was registered for. I called to see about the details of his registration. They apparently did not find his information nor called us back to register him. The biggest issue I have is that do not tell parents in writing to text if your going to lose the text. This just creates issues for parents that work and want their child to have a great summer. The level of communication is poor. It is insulting that I was told that they do not do any thing over text when it clearly states that on your website. For future purposes please be clear on the methodology of what you need us to do as parents to enroll in your programs.

I have been Teaching at the Frisco School of Music for about 6 years and I am proud to say I have been a part of this school for so long. We are a group of professionals truly committed and dedicated to music education at all levels. It is wonderful to be part of a team that truly cares about every single student and their families many of which I myself have taught the wonders of music through different instruments. Music is a wonderful gift that truly keeps on giving and it is my privilege to be able to bestow this gift to others. For this and many other reasons I will always be thankful to the Frisco School of Music and to the 900+ families that have chosen us, in a way, to be part of their family too.

Update - After two years, we still love this place. They have grown so much that they had to construct a building next door to the first one just so they could accommodate all the people that want come to the school. The new building has its own performance hall and they provide at least a dozen opportunities for our daughter to perform. Really cant say enough good things about them.Wonderful school, really love this place.Gosh...we had our first class last night and my daughter LOVED the class. She played her guitar for the first time and she could tell the other kids had been playing for a while and that she could get better if she tried to keep playing. The teacher was very encouraging and helped her understand the basics. She got two books and was ready to show her Dad all about the assignment when we got home. I am so happy we decided to try guitar.

Music school is run like a professional business. Their attention to detail from starting on time to overly communicating upcoming events, recitals, graduations, etc. is great. Son takes piano and voice and both teachers are exceptionally well trained, on time, give 110% during the lesson (no one is checking email and texting during lesson time). Front desk staff are attentive and obviously well trained. There are known goals for the year and you can track if child is on the mark for meeting goals. Piano, especially, is well rounded. Theory is taught as comprehensive as playing. The teachers know what it takes to be well trained - - not just play - - and Im confident if my son wants to pursue music in college & beyond his teacher can take him all the way to this level.

I have been a faculty member at Frisco School of Music for 5 years, and it is a wonderful environment for music education. Having taught privately and in after-school programs in public schools in the DFW area, I can say that Frisco School of Music is unmatched in quality of facilities, staff, and faculty. As the director of 4 of our 7 bands, I am constantly impressed with the level at which the students are performing. Even outside of the bands, the myriad performance opportunities guarantee all students have the opportunity to show off what they are learning.Come try out a lesson and see how we can help you or your loved one reach and surpass their musical goals.

Ive been teaching drums here for 6 years now and Im very impressed with how things are evolving. Ive taught at other schools and privately for at least 15 years and Ive never had this much support in giving better lessons. We are constantly learning how to deliver more value to the students and their families. When things havent gone as planned, there is always a conversation on how we can improve. As we grow there is constant discussion on how we can better deliver in our lessons, our customer service, and our connection to the families that come through those doors. My past experience in the military and as a sales manager, for many years, has taught me to always look for opportunities to show how we care and how we can improve. Im proud to say that I, once again, work for an organization that is focussed on learning, growing and delivering more value to its customers and its employees.Come see what were up to next!

My teacher at the Frisco School of Music has introduced me to music and artists that I had never heard before and has broadened my knowledge and appreciation of music. I have learned more in a few months than I had learned in a year of study with a home music teacher as there were no distractions and we could concentrate on the lessons.Lots of patience, and always a smile - Thanks

I worked for the Frisco School of Music for 3 years, and I have to say it was the best job experience Ive had yet. Chris Duncan and her team of administrators and front desk staff have created a music learning experience unparalleled by any business Ive worked for. I was treated with the utmost respect while I worked there . The school is buzzing with energy and excitement. The facilities and equipment are top notch. They have a huge faculty of music educators that offers each student a variety of instruments and teaching methods with each teacher having a unique personality, background, and experiences. No other school offers more opportunities to perform and showcase talent and knowledge than FSM.Even though Ive been gone for a year now, FSM continues to be a source of support and inspiration for me as I continue on in my music career. Thank you Frisco School of Music for your years of dedication to quality business!

I am a teacher at Frisco School of Music and Performing Arts and it has been a joy to be a part of it. I have seen first hand how the curricula accommodates to all students’s unique personality and intellect. Also, all students have the opportunity to participate in a different variety of shows that allow them to excel not only in the field of arts but also in academics. Further on, the staff at FSMPA is always ready to serve all families that come through those big-window doors, and also to help all teachers to have available materials for our students. FSMPA is with no doubt a great place for teachers to teach and students to learn.

HORRIBLE place! My son is 5 years old and we took their quick start lessons once a week each was a 50 minute session. I wanted to see how the teachers are and how they interact with kids. The classes have glass windows and any time I peeked inside, the teacher would be busy with older kids and my son would be so bored waiting for the teacher to come and instruct him . He would be lounging on the piano or looking in her direction to get her help(which would never come). Most classes they make the kids do coloring in their music book instead of teaching, which in my opinion can be sent as homework . Its not worth driving all the way for this joke of a piano class. Total waste of money. I am saving my money for an in home tutor.

I was a student at the Frisco School of Music for 11 years and a music intern for 5 years. I have a unique perspective on this wonderful institution as I was not only able to learn from some of the best musicians in the area, but I was privileged enough to work along side of many of them. As an intern, I spent much of my time in the beginner piano labs. I can personally attest to the improvement of the students throughout the year that they study with FSM. The quality of the performance improves and they become much more comfortable performing in front of others.Personally, my experience at FSM has been excellent. The teachers can instruct anyone from beginners to highly advanced students. They are incredibly personable and welcoming. With their guidance, I have improved tremendously in my quality of playing. If you are even slightly interested in visiting FSM, I highly recommend doing so. As a student and an intern, I can say that this is an institution for your student to grow as not only a musician but as a performer.

This is my 3rd year teaching piano at Frisco School of Music(FSM), and it has been a fantastic time!FSM has state of the art facilities, a top notch teaching staff, an amazing front of house team and a plethora of talented musicians both big and small taking lessons. Every room is fully equipped to foster the education of any student, with multiple instruments, plenty of musical content, and each studio is equipped with a fully loaded iPad with charts, backing tracks and music theory games and quizzes! What more could a student want?Of course they want a great teacher. Every teacher here is University trained and has plenty of real world experience performing. I know them all personally and can say that they are a pleasure to work with. Each one is relatable and kind. Whether it be for lab classes, shared lessons or private lessons, each one is not only capable, but eager to teach these kids to the best of their abilities. With a wide range of instruments to choose from, not just piano, but guitar, bass, drums, voice, violin, viola, cello, saxophone, clarinet, ukulele, mandolin; the list goes on! Not to mention our 7 top notch kid Rock Bands (of which I am a teacher of one). You can even try it out for a month to see if your kids will enjoy it by enrolling in Quick Start lessons! If you would like to sign up for lessons, feel free to talk to our friendly front desk team. They are the greatest! They handle all the sign ups, schedules, paperwork, mail both snail and E, phone calls, walk ins, tours; they even grab us teachers the books and supplies we need whenever a new student signs up! And you students or parents wouldnt have to spend another dime on books! We take care of all that in your tuition. And not just books; tuners, metronomes, strings, rosin, supplementary CDs, pretty much anything but the instrument itself!Would you like to become one of the many satisfied Frisco School of Music customers?
