My daughter swam here for 2 years during that time she suffered 2 severe injuries due to coaches not helping teach and watch for proper technique. They worry more about mileage than proper technique or strengthening them essentially swimming kids into the ground. While we were there, there were several other kids with injuries as well caused by this (dont believe me go ask any Dr at Scottish Rites). When we were injured the doctors suggestion was to take some time off, we were told either A) come and do altered sets which was advised against by the orthopedic and physical therapist or B) lose your spot if youre out more than 2 weeks even with a doctors note. When we informed them we would be mostly out for a month due to a medical procedure that was advised so she could get back to swim full time we given a report card from a coach whom never swam after the age of 13 or in competitive swim tell us our child was horrible because she wasnt there full time and she would never be moved up or challenged by him because of this.Their facilities for swim meets are terrible. Theres no seating and its over crowded. Most recently they have switched to live stream due to not allowing spectators to which you cant even see your kid swim and their pool is freezing. This has been an issue since 2018 when their pool heater broke. We have seen a coach yell at a 12 year old for being 10 minutes late to a meet. When the kids said he had no control of this the coach said thats just an excuse. Its honestly a factory and thats it. Please look else where at other teams if you can.We have since moved teams to a much better environment, and if youre wondering why we stayed for 2 years its because she had one good coach and after he left it went down hill and we left shortly after that

Been here since summer 2018. So happy with the coaching staff as well as the lessons staff. I have 6 children participating in some capacity at this club. 2 are in Swim America and 4 are on the competitive swim team. Any time I have had a problem or a question, I have been able to get satisfaction. My children are coached. They are learning so much everyday. I would not send my children to a different club.

I have been swimming here for 5 years by now and it is the best swim place ever!!! They keep you in a level that you are in or swim team until u are fully good with everything. Before I came here I thought I was the best swimmer Until I came and I had to work on my stroke counting they slowly showed me how to do it to where I am naturally good. They care about every ones safety and is very strict about their rules to how they keep every one safe. They also make you practice more every time I moved up.At first it was 2 days a week but since then I have it 6 days a week and 1 hour and 30 minutes to practice!!! I Highly recommend this place extremely for people that want to learn how to professionally race in swimming.(not recommended for the people who only swim for fun in my opinion)

My son has been going there for 7 months. He started out at level 3 and progressed to level 5. Then all of the sudden, unbeknownst to us, he was relegated to level 3. When asked why, they said because he isn’t kicking properly, and suggested he needs to be going 3 days a week to advance. Waste of money!!!!

Texas Ford Aquatics is a great club. My oldest child started with TFA in 2009 and my younger two followed. My oldest and youngest decided that swimming is their sport and have continued to enjoy the top level training, coaches and facility. Swimming at TFA has brought them love for the sport of swimming, development and progress and a great group of friends and team mates.

Horrible place! Bad Environment! Take customers money forcedly, change their rules frequently, never follow it! Do not Trust their words, lost money here! Always 4 kids in a small short pool with one teacher for 30min, teachers are changed frequently, low efficient, I have not seen any progress for my kids after several months classes with twice a week. The shower taps are broken for many years without repair. The showing water always cold even in winter! Very disappointed to their service and attitude!! They are robbers!

I am very frustrated with this place. I called and spoke with the operator 2 times yesterday morning and she told me I couldn’t get an assessment for my daughter until today. She told me to sign up for a time today. So I go into the website this morning and the calendar is still blank. I call again and the woman tells me that they are all booked until the end of October. How hard would it have been to tell me that the assessments would book up fast? I sent an email through thier system and spoke with the operator twice. My daughter is a competitive swimmer and I also sent an email to Coach Sam who still hasn’t responded to me. Very unprofessional place.

I am here for a meet for my son. The place does not have adequate seating for parents. Parking situation is horrible. People who have already seated on the 3 (only 3) benches reserve spaces so they can put their stuff on a seat. Staff are rude. If you want to see the heat sheet, its $2. And it is not posted anywhere for you to just look. Very bad facility as a whole.

What a horrible place. They will nickel and dime you and thats all they care about. They give lessons to the second and there are no imaginable reasons for a make up lesson. They will keep the student from advancing to a swim team because they make more if they keep them at lesson level.

Absolutely the best aquatics center that I have ever been to in my 10 year experience as a competitive swimmer. I currently swim with the TFA masters team. The facilities are fantastic and the staff and very friendly. The TFA master’s coach, Richard Garza, is the reason why I keep coming back for the 530am practices despite myself hating those early mornings. There’s no pressure to compete but good Richard will encourage you to participate in the team’s glowing success in the competitive swimming world!

For junior level swimming classes this is not the right place. Middle school kids are coaching for level 1-7. Every weeks new coach . Management and front desk also not friendly . For every reason we have to email. My daughter is getting trained at this facility last 1 year and she did not learned much . We just wasted around $1000. Please think twice and dont get attracted because of big pool and looking at advanced swimming area . They just using brand to make money on junior swimming classes.

This place is not meant for younger kids less than 8-9 years old. My son is 4 and he has been getting 5-7 minutes attention in a 30 minutes class. He is at the same level for the last 3 months. Teachers are inexperienced in dealing with young kids. Complete waste of money and time.

I do not recommend this place at all....especially for ages under 10.. Its a commercial money making factory with absolutely poor customer service for an exorbitant price. No human touch between lessons and progression, what you child needs, how is their progress looking, no facility to change your children. Dont think you can halt your contract for 2 months in summer when most families take vacation and comeback and start again where you stopped even though they will tell you, NO PROBLEM.... They will treat you like you are a stranger and a new comer..and downgrade your children for stopping 2 months...So pour money back again to get them where they left off...How can a child lose two levels in 2 months...That also means that their training isnt that great either...and it didn;t just happen to me..When i brought my children for testing, other parents suffered the same downgrades due to summer break...and treated as newcomers..most of us had our children train there a whole year before summer break.VERY VERY POOR SERVICE and its time for people to stop feeding these money making administrations.

My sincere advise for parents since my both kids goes to this center. This facility not meant for younger kids especially until Swim America and if your kid is below level 8. They keep 5 to 6 kids in 30 minute session and each kid barely get 1 to 2 minute of attention. Instructors are very inexperienced. i have observed one thing that instructor will call for kid to swim from one end to another end and even without observing how kid is doing, instructor is going to call another kid. I am very disappointed and didnt understand at what instance instructor can correct kids swim mistake. I highly recommend to avoid this facility if your kid is small. My best advise would be to go with outside 1 on 1 coaching until he is good with swimming and then join him into TFA in Swim Team. ...good luck

Very bad experience shopping swim cap at the store. They sold me a cap which had a rip on top. I noticed it while marking my kids name on the cap. I tried to return the new unused cap and the TFA shop owner refused to replace it. She showed no remorse in selling a defective piece. Argues that she has never seen swim cap in cover that had a rip. My kids have been going to TFA for atleast 3 years and was stunned by the cold attitude and customer service. They force you to use only TFA apparel and out of box was defective. BEWARE of this place! I feel cheated.

I wish 0 stars was a choice. This is a poorly run facility and management. If you have ANY other choice for swim facility, choose elsewhere. My daughter took a break from the SwimAmerica program for 8 weeks because we vacationed on and off for the summer and she will have to be re-assessed to re-enter the program. That is fine- no problem. The first availalbe re-assessment date is 8 WEEKS away. Yes 2 additional months before she can start swimming again. That is poor management! If the facilty was truly concerned about regression of skills and not just making money, they would make it possible to get back into the program. Such a disappointment for such a fine-looking facilty.

My 6 year old son spent 6 months in one level without progress. I paid $150 every month with no result. I had to intervene several times and talked to the head coach regarding my sons lack of progress. Had I done nothing, they wouldnt have noticed. He finally passed to the next level and thats when we dropped out. I wasnt prepared to pay thousands of Dollars for my son to finally learn how to swim. This swimming school is a factory. They take your money and dont care about your kids.

Great place for swimmers! We have 4 kids enrolled in TFA. Planning to enroll the 5th when she turns 4.My kids started in Swimamerica. Three of them are in the team now. They all love their coaches. They are very profesionals and always available to answer any concern you may have. They do plan a lot of meets for children to participate. Coaches are truly involve with the children progress.Owners and managers are awesome. The lady in the front desk is very kind, polite and always happy to help with anything.I had never met anybody rude or impolite. As with any other facility that manage a large group of kids, they do need to have rules and policies for visitors, parents and swimmers.TFA is a busy place and really crowdy. We have been enrolled since they open this new facility, and have seen them growing. Being crowdy as it is I always find a parking spot and a place to sit in the waiting area. Except during meets!!My only suggestion is to install a changing table for babies in the restroom. If you love swimming and are looking for a place where your children could learn swimming the right way... This is the one!!We do love TFA and pray for the coaches, owners and all the staff to keep the genuine love for childrens success in swimming.God bless you all!
