I absoloutly love this place. I signed up my son to help with his behavior, this place has done far more then that for him. He knows how to work as a team, he shows the instructors respect, he is excited to go each time, he has made friends. You can tell the instructors like what they do and take a general interest in the children

Im not a student, I teach at another dojo in the same town. I do have a couple of Rock Solids blackbelts who train part time with me and I visited to watch them test today.The students were all very respectful and also had great technique and could defend themselves quite well.Afterwards, I met the testing board, and the instructors were welcoming, gracious, and genuinely care for the students.

This school is sooo amazing! The teachers are firm but friendly. The other parents are respectful. My son has learned such good behavior and has such a great respect for his teachers. I would recommend this school to anyone, especially if you have a child!

Best decision we have ever made for our family. Yes, ALL of us. 2 kids, my wife and myself. It is a COMMITMENT, but we’ll worth it. it is easy to quit but we told our children when we started, “We are ALL in!” Now my wife and I are Black Belts and our children are preparing to test for their Black Belts. Their self confidence and self worth is through the roof and our health is the best it has ever been - Not to mention the GREAT people we have met and now consider part of our extended family, Our “Karate Family”.

Our entire family has trained at Rock Solid Karate for over 4 years. Two daughters, 13 and 10, my husband (48) and myself(49). When we first started, it was to instill respect and discipline in my girls. Turned out to be the best decision we have made as a family-not just for them but for myself and my husband as well. The Sandt’s and Jana Easter/instructor are AMAZING. This is a wonderful program for your kids but is also great for adults.

This place is phenominal, taught my son so much, love the instructors, they are all truely vested in the childrens wellbeing and teaching them. I am so glad I found this place, if I had 10 kids they would all be going here. Thanks for bringing an awesome place to Gainesville.

We enrolled our daughter (5 yrs old) for her first attempt at karate. She loved it and the facility. She also participated in summer camps which were also great. We just moved to a different area so thanks for the experience!

I’ve been here for 13 years and have loved every moment! Everyone here becomes your family and the instructors care about each individual personally. The instruction itself is also great. Any age group is welcomed! You will not regret coming to Rock Solid Karate.

If youre in search of quality martial arts instruction in a very family oriented atmosphere, I highly recommend Rock Solid Karate. I began training there about 9 years ago and its been one of the best decisions Ive made.The instructors maintain high standards while tailoring the instruction to how a given student learns best. The facility is very clean and theres ample space to train. Because the school is run by full-time martial artists, theres an extensive class schedule which gives you the chance to train at a time that works best for you.

They are absolutely wonderful. They spend a lot of time making sure the kids not only feel welcome, but also for them to understand the overall goal to build themselves up and overcome fear. We have 3 out of 4 of our children attending classes. hopefully soon, it is going to be 4 and theres no other place Id choose over this one. Theyre the best at Rock Solid!

My two brothers go to this karate and they absolutely love it. They have definitely learned a lot, the staff is great they treat you like family they are caring, loving to your kids and most of all humble people truly recommend to your family and kids.

I would not recommend this to anyone. Yes the training is good. But they will not let you out of your contract unless you move or become disabled.My son was no longer interested in karate anymore and we couldn’t afford it anymore due to a job change. But now we are stuck paying for something we no longer use and something we can’t afford which screws my family out of out food budget for the month.

No one contacted me back bc during these hard times I recently got laid off and been looking for work so I dont have the money to pay for a class that my child cant go to at the moment and we dont have a computer to do online classes. But I guess thats how a business runs no matter what is going on ..

My oldest has been here for over 5 years. Ready to enroll my youngest. Trust these folks with my kids implicitly. They’re like family.

My son attended aftercare here for two years and continues to go so he can earn his black belt. This place is AWESOME! Mr. David was a terrific coach and mentor to the kids at aftercare. I really feel my sons experiences at Rock Solid helped him mature and find greater self control. Working his way through the belts is teaching him the value of putting his best effort into reaching a goal.The other instructors - Ms. Easter, Mr. Lee and Master Sant really care about the childrens success and growth in the martial arts.We are so lucky to have this amazing resource in Gainesville!

My advice to everyone in the area is to give it a try. Just call Rock Solid Karate and set up an appointment. Meet Mr. Sandt, Lee, David, Janna and others and see for yourself. From my end, after knowing them for 10+ years I assure you their passion, dedication, and just being sincere good people is as real as it gets. Oh, I almost forgot... they are very good at what they do (not only being advanced black belts in Tang Soo Do but also high-rank martial artists in BJJ).

Whoever is driving your red van from Hall county, doesnt need to be driving at all.Its 2:00 Oct 18, and I watched him pull out into oncoming traffic causing a driver to slam on breaks. Then, he cut me off... Then, he turned into I-85, and cut off more drivers to get to 985. If this guys rides with children, hes not really teaching the respect and discipline your advertising for on the side of your van...Its a good thing you didnt advertise patients... Otherwise this would be really ironic.Just thought you should know.

The contract is binding for 9 months but very difficult to end.

I have known the Sandt family for 10+ years and they are all amazing individuals. They have all trained in Brazilian jiu-jitsu under me for all of these years and each one of them are fantastic Martial Artists. They run a top notch Karate academy that is absoloutly beautiful on the inside. Great people, great instruction and a state of the art facility.
