Both of my daughters attend the school and weve been very happy. The teachers for the most part are thoughtful and caring and work hard for the kids. Both of our daughters were on honor roll all three years that they were here to put in a lot of hard work and their work was rewarded period whenever we had an issue it was addressed immediately. I would recommend this Middle School to anyone in the area. No matter where your children attend school you just have to be an involved parent. Raise your kids to care about doing good in school and they will excel. Go Trojans!!!

Its a great place if youre training your child for prison. We moved from Ohio to N.C. and if this was an overall evaluation of the state, I strongly recommend a nuclear strike. And hit Creech Road Elementary if its possible. The South is a lovely place from a country song, but not so much in reality.

Im very pleased with the school Academically! However, Im in love with the Football team We havent won any games yet this year. But they are doing a great job. Shot out to the teams Quarter Back! I still have faith in you guys. ...now lets play some ball! Go Trojans

As a graduate of East garner magnet middle school, I say I loved the school! I attended this school for all 3 years of middle school and I enjoyed every minute of it. The people were so nice and most of the teachers were easy to get along with. I would say the one thing I enjoyed the most was, no matter who you are or where you came from, you were always excepted. There are so many opportunities offered at EGMMS. You can learn about so many different cultures. Yes, there are some very hard behavioral code but without discipline, there is chaos. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone in the area. These teachers work hard to push each and every student to their absolute potential. I hope you enjoy your East garner experience and welcome to the mighty Trojans family! :)

The teachers dont push the students and they dont inform the parents of the students work performance until its too late. I have had 2 students go to this school and it hasnt been a good experience for none of them. I have 2 more children that will be attending middle school soon but they will never go here!

School is filthy, especially the old buildings. Some teachers are nice, Most dont care about your student attending here. Principals will literally give your child iss for the rest of the year for literally touching a fidget spinner. School is bad all around , full of negative people including teachers. I would not recommend your child coming here at all. I speak from past experience and I am not the only one that feels the way I do.

I had to pull teeth just to get conferences with the teachers when my child was in the six grade. Note: if you have anything to drop off to your child or your childs teacher, make sure they call them up to the office so you can hand it to them yourself or they will never get. That happened to me with some important documents that the doctor needed and the teachers never received.

My daughter is not doing well in this school and the influences that the teachers and the students are providing for her are very bad. The teachers show careless effort to teach the students and they are not getting homework as I expect. They are just teaching her things that she had learned in 4th grade and she is falling behind because of that. I dont recommend this school for smart and educated students

I go there now in 8th grade and i have to say that my 3 years over there have been phenomenal. i believe that the future 6th graders will enjoy it.

Im not trying to say that this school is good and im not trying to say that its bad... But this school has some AWESOME teachers in EGMMS (East Garner Magnet Middle School) and are great at teaching his or hers class! But there are very few teachers that i feel that should not be teaching at this school. But over all the teacher were great! Over all the school is okay and i feel like you will have a great time at this school. So i hope that you like East Garner Middle school! (Also good luck for all of the new 6th graders that go this this school!) ;D

This school is one of the best schools, even though some people and teachers can make it a bad experience... Although there are some issues with this school, I have learned so much in my 2 years attending this school. I am about to be an 8th grader and can not wait to experience the new teaching methods that I will benefit from in the long run. I will miss this school when I am going off to high school and think back on what Ive learned from here.There have been some fights at this school and I have been in some myself and I think that the assistant principals try to handle the situations well. Other than that everything else here is cool.

East Garner is honestly an okay school, its not that bad. Its not that good. I went to EGMMS for all my 3 years of middle school. Also my older brother went there as well. Some good things about it is there culture, you get experienced to many new things, you get opened to new things. You meet some of you life long friends. They hold there student to very high standers. Some of the teacher not all push you to do your very best! My homeroom teacher my 8th grade year always motivated me to do my best, she was the best teacher i ever had so far. Some bad things they have a EGMMS are some teachers because honestly some teacher over exaggerate some things. I understand some people may think that they care for you and stuff but sometimes they take it way to far. I dont understand why they do that to, also some of my friends and I found hair in our food plenty of times! There health department is very low, so I just completely stopped eating their food. These are just some of there things. In all East Garner is what you make it, it can be the best time you ever had, the worst times you ever had. Middle school is where you find yourselves! Honestly egmms isnt a bad school but I dont like it they are very strict about things and we have a new principal so we arent able to do a lot of things like before and some of the teachers are very rude so be carefull of what you are saying especially 7tgh grade principal she will get you in trouble for nothing

This school needs to stop being so stricked and let loose on their dress code
