Worst experience ever !!!!! The staff did not greet or even care that I a customer needed to check out. Staff was walking around saw me standing there and did not acknowledge my presence . Where the heck is management? I will not go back to this store again terrible service.

Went to have some papers printed and some forms scanned .. the ladies in the back were great ..they took care of me no issues was in and out in about 10-15 minutes .. will definitely return in the future for printing services.

I am a 77 year old senior and Jacques was very professional and took so much time helping and assistance other customers at same time. Jacques was so nice to me,intelligent and very handsome young man. It make me so proud to go to Office Max Depot because employees like Jacques Griffin. As a senor we need special assistance finding items and doing things. Jacques help me so much locating the items that I need in a timely matter. I wish he was my son! Ask a employee management should be proud of Jacques Griffin because I had to do this survey on that brilliant men. No one told me and I had to do it! Information I received from Jacques were very helpful information. I use the printing services at this office Max and I dont recommend them. I printed my wedding invitations here I asked if they used a toner-based printing method because I needed a toner-based printing method so I could foil them at home. I ordered my other paper products for my wedding somewhere else that I didnt realize also did printing and they turned out beautiful, but the invitations printed at this location arent as clear and its the only paper product my foil wont stick to. When I went in to go ask for a refund for it because I wasnt satisfied with the product I was given attitude by the printing staff about how they did exactly what I asked them to do and that there would be no refund. It wouldnt make me so upset if the attitude from the lady who works behind the counter was nicer. But even before I had an issue she was very short with me had no patience for anything that I was trying to ask her and seemed annoyed at the fact that I had never used their printing services before and didnt really know exactly how it worked. If I couldnt get a refund then that would be fine because of the product but I dont need your damn attitude to go along with it. I felt dread just going back there to ask about a refund. Learn to be cordial please. In short I will not be bringing anything here to be printed and will recommend others to find a different location.The cashier at the front was sympathetic and tried to handle it without me having to go back there. Thanks for trying to not have me go back there to deal with that woman. I appreciate your kindness.

I had one of those days that nothing went according to plan. When I came in received the the best possible customer service anyone could hope for an otherwise bummer of a day. Jason was extremely helpful and he guided me in the right direction. I walked out feeling a lot better than when I came in. And for that, I thank you very much. Keep up the great work!

I recently visited OfficeMax because I needed a printer and I met an associate named Derrin. Derrin was extremely knowledgeable about the printers and cables I needed for my personal computer. Also, Derrin was professional, patient, and kind. He did not rush me and he took his time to help me. Good job Derrin keep up the good work!

Dont try to get something printed here. The self serve machines are always down and the brothas that work there are terrible employees. Dude sitting on the phone refusing to acknowledge that there were people in line and then copping attitude when asked to do his job. Hire better employees for the print shop.

I genuinely believe that reviews are to better the shopping experience for all of us and not to tell on people. With that said, sometimes you have to mention the bad employee. Horrible customer service. Debbie was at the customer service desk. I was ready to pay. She didnt acknowledge me, there was no one at the cash registers. This is why I came to service desk. I had to ask could I pay here? She said no come over to register. I did and I showed her a coupon, she said she had it up there. (She was on her earpiece helping her coworker) but left me hanging after having scanned my items for like one minute, I had to ask her if she put the coupon in, and she hadnt. So she finally did. I know she was helping a co-worker with something but I was ready to pay and totally ignored. She should have told him to wait. The whole time, I was the only person paying. A self pay machine wouldve been more efficient.

This is one of the worst stores I’ve ever been in. I tried to ship an expensive package through fedex here, and the package “disappeared” before it was ever picked up. The contents of the package cost hundreds of dollars. I talked to the geniuses who work their, and they could barely tell you the name of the store much less any relevant information. Then I spoke to the store manager, who claimed it was fedex’s mistake because they have “new guys” working for them. Even “new guys” would know to scan a package when they pick it up, but of course the store manager wouldn’t claim responsibility! I ended up filing a police report. Don’t ever count on the low lifes who work their to complete any task.

They damaged my computer during an SSD upgrade and 30 days later still are being difficult about paying the 3rd party repair shop that had to fix it. Never go to this place for Computer Tech work.

NOT A CORONA-COMPLIANT RETAIL ENVIRONMENT - AVOID during pandemic. There was only one self-service print machine open, and being used by a person not wearing a mask. I waited over 20 minutes and after watching this woman sneeze on the machine (without a mask), I left due to the unsafe environment. Multiple customers not wearing masks, and not following social distance directions (big red obvious dots on the ground). Although employees wore masks, they uncovered their mouths while talking to customers at the counter, who also removed masks to talk. There is a sign on the door stating that face masks are required - but the management of this store does not actually respect or enforce this safety guideline inside their store. I most likely will never shop at this store again anywhere at any location. If people (customers or employees) cannot follow basic public health and safety rules, mandated by the government, then retail locations like this need to be responsible enough to close their doors to stop the spread of coronavirus.

A week agoNo concern for public health at this location- NOT A CORONA-COMPLIANT store. I went in to have some documents printed and possibly buy some other office items however, employees wore masks under their chins so they uncovered their mouths while talking to customers at the counter in the back where printing is & their were some customers who decided it was ok to not cover their nose and mouth either while talking to the worker. Also, the front cashier had the face mask half way down while talking to their coworker. There is a sign on the door stating that face masks are required to shop, it is obvious management of this store does not actually enforce this safety guideline inside their store for their employees so why would customers care who dont want to wear masks. Retail locations like this need to be responsible enough to close their doors to stop the spread of coronavirus if they cannot or will not adhere to public health concerns and protect their employees & customers. After a few minutes I left the store and went to the UPS store instead where everyone wore masks & socially distanced. Funny thing I went to the bigger store because the UPS store is small & felt less safe in OfficeMax then in the smaller store where they cared. Management needs to correct this problem.

I found 3 of the staff specifically that greeted us and dealt with to be very receptive and accommodating to my questions, both when I was in the store and when I had to call back for a follow up question regarding an item. Very courteous normally stores tend to be rather blah in office retail.

TL;DR = Terrible service, employees lacking complete knowledge of workplace policies and procedures. Total inability to execute proper customer service.Extended Version:Went in to mail a computer. I was refused service right inside the door. I was informed they would not handle computers being shipped through FedEx, and this was FedEx policy and not OfficeMax policy.I thought this was strange since the machine had been delivered to me through FedEx and I had a pre-purchased FedEx shipping label. But then again, the one guy fixing his hair obviously couldnt be interrupted. The one surfing the web (the one that refused me service) obviously had some serious social media stuff going on.I went to a local FedEx store and they told me they knew of no reason an OfficeMax location could not accept a computer for shipment. The employee was kind enough to ask her manager for confirmation.Just as a triple check, I called FedEx and they advised me they had no issues shipping computers whatsoever.So if you want quality, knowledgeable service... this place probably isnt for you.Thanks for making me drive out of my way OfficeMax.

They have 2 machines, one is broken. The other one would not connect after I used it the first time. So she says come do it on our computer, sure then they raise the price because They have to push the print button and hand it to me???? Why would that be 20 cents more? I would have honored the self service price. This after I had to keep asking for printer paper.

Dont use them to send faxes! I had an employee of mine send out two faxes. They were each 40 pages. Office Depot says that they had the fax price posted. They did. (It didnt say per page, though). So she assumed it was per fax. So the cashier went and got the store manager because he thought the same that was high. Long story short my employee paid $161.39 for 2 faxes. So I called a lady who was the Manager on Duty, she proceeds to tell me that my employee needs to pay more attention and if she had questions then they should be smart enough to ask questions. Glad Office Depot is in the business of telling me as a customer that my staff needs to pay more attention. I called my telephone provider. They said the total cost to sent that fax shouldnt cost more than .50 cents. Its like placing a long distance call. Obviously, 800 fax numbers are free, local are generally free. This is Price Gouging! If that is the price for faxes, I hope I dont get a consultant fee from the Manager on Duty for how to hire my staff.

This store is awful. Customer service is terrible. Ordered a print job online, received an email and text stating that my order was ready for pickup. Got to the store and the lady at the print desk said that she didnt have an order for us. After giving her the order number and completion confirmation she said that she had multiple people helping her yesterday and they probably closed the order without printing. She then said that we didnt attach the document. Went home resent the document and printed the receipt to show her that the document had been indeed been attached to the first order. Her attitude was unfriendly and unhelpful. She acted as if we inconvenienced her. We still had to wait for the order to be printed and then the quality was poor. It was a booklet for my childs school project and it wasnt even stapled straight. I will not use this store again.

Customer service in the printing area is a hot mess. I sent my business cards via email to get printed. No one called, no email and when I get there to pick them up, the lady said it was too blurry to print. No one could not pick up the phone to call or email me that information? Very unprofessional, people back there just leaning on the counter top, no care of customers in the store. Worker did not even take the time to pull it up or try to see what the said lady was talking about. Just sorry. Management was worse, so Im writing on the website. Email the same business card to Staples....DONE Got my business cards and great customer service. NO STARS FOR ME

What is good customer service? Several times I have gone to the copy center and waited in line for 5-10 minutes, only to have a caucasian walk up to the FedEx counter and be helped before I was. Also, another incident occurred today. I waited in line for approx. 10-15 minutes before going to the counter, only to have a male Caucasian, who walked up behind me, in line, to be helped and completed his transaction before I was. His wait time was maybe 3 minutes in line. Not sure what the managers are training the staff regarding people of color compared to caucasians being helped first regardless of how long people of color have been waiting. These incidents occurred with different staff members. My time is just as important as anyone else and first come first serve should be the standard. So tired of prejudice!

POOR SERVICE KEVIN! Called and before I could finish asking my question, I was transferred to another department. After waiting over 2 minutes, I hung up and called again. The same guy (KEVIN) picked up and told me to hold on and transferred me again without listening to what I fully needed. After another long wait, I hung up and called again and told him not to place me on hold again. He blame me for not waiting long enough. Told him I was going elsewhere and immediately hung up on me.

Not familiar with this location and the person sitting at the desk did not acknowledge me. I stopped and looked around for about 2 minutes and she never offered to help at all. When I asked another salesperson, I found what I wanted. At check out the same salesperson could not understand that I wanted $10 in ones after paying for my purchase with a credit card!!!

I went to this store to buy this particular printer that on sale online at Office Depot but I discovered that I walked into OfficeMax. However, the salesman, Michael showed me exactly the same printer, and he matched the Office Depots sale price and also he honored the Office Depot discounted coupon that Id printed out. What a great service! Moreover, after I tried out the printer I encountered a problem, they also resolved it right away in a friendly matter.And the few days later, my pc had a problem. I took in to the store, David and another young man, found the source of problem. I am sure it took at least 4 hours to solved the problem with no charge to me.You will be very much satisfied shopping at Timber Officemax!
