I have to say this is the one of the messiest Dollar Tree stores I have ever been in. Since I have moved in the area, I have visited this one a number of times and every single time that I visit it is always messy. On the plus side, the staff are always super nice, friendly, and know where everything is located, despite the chaotic mess.

Although the store can be very busy with a long waiting line, Heather cashier is steady and thourough, also kind and considerate to her customers & managers are always attentive to their customers needs.Their stocking of items is quite adequate in selection.The community is blessed to have Dollar Tree at this location🌳Thank you all for helping our lives with great merchandise and your service and care❤🇺🇲Sincerely,Your faithful customer😊😷👍DOB

Employees always work hard and never get credit. All they get it pictures of customers trashing the store.

Cashier was obviously tired but she still managed to ask if we found everything we needed plus small talk.💛

This location is one to avoid during 9-5 due to one register open and long lines. From 8-9 or 6:30-close its doable. The store was a mess on our most recent visit with items all over the floors and misplaced on the shelves.

I first visited a dollar tree on lakewheler road their customer service was zero star... then I left and stopped at this location the moment I walked in I was greeted by Antonia lucus I was returning some items she asked me to please wait for Malik the store manager and she apologized and told me the reason. why she couldnt do the exchange for me ,it took Malik less than a minute to come running to the front to assist me ,Malik showed since of urgency in assisting me he was very polite during the entire transaction a very great gentleman! They both deserve Recognition for doing their job by providing an Amazing customer service !Thank you both !:)

They have the flexible cutting boards which is hard to find in Hillsborough and Durham so I was really happy

Whenever I call up there to see if they have items in stock no one ever answers the phone it just rings the whole time like I’m sure not the busy smh ...

I went to the Dollar Tree to buy 1 thing and left with 15 items. 😄 Its easy to do that with the price. I noticed a sign that said half off Christmas items and I was going to ask about the price 😂 but it was busy.

Found everything that I needed but the environment wasnt safe. In the middle of the pandemic there was at least 5 people walking around the store without mask or any other protective gear. Two of the individuals were loudly talking around other customers and it wasnt addressed by the employees of the store. I guess the employees didnt care because one of the employees also had her mask off as well.😫😫🤬😫

Employee service was good and social distancing was practiced with mask 😷 wearing. Not crowded and everything was easy to find.

This is a great place to shop for what you need to clean your house everything is a dollar.

Wheel chair accessible but hard to manuever through some areas. This Dollar Tree is not one of the larger sized of the chain but is sufficient for our neighborhood. I would normay give this store a 3 star rating except that often times I know that the pile up of stuff is from customers. The employees are often busy straightening up, putting items away, helping customers AND cashing them out. Staff seems a little thin here for the amount of traffic flow. I saw about 10 different hand carry baskets full of stuff left in the aisles by customers. I saw where a customer had left their drink from a fast food place on a shelf. The toy aisle looked demolished but I witnessed an employee put it all back in place just the day before. My 4 stars is because this store needs more workers. The employees there are never slacking. They are super quick at cashierimg and bagging but they cannot do their jobs and keep up with the poorly behaved customers who leave their stuff here, there and everywhere.

Well stocked but dirty

ANTONIA was cussing and had the worst customer service acting very very rude and unprofessional I stayed quite the whole time because I knew if I said something she would have acted worst I really just expect better from a retail franchise dollar tree.

I stopped at this location trying to find one particular item. I had already checked 3 other stores. This store had the item, in both scents. I was so Happy that I stopped. Surprisingly I found this store to be well stocked. I will be returning in the future. The cashier was pleasant. The store was clean and well stocked on a Saturday night. Most other locations are not well stocked on a Saturday night.

I like the store and everything but the sales associate was rude. I understand that you had a bad day, tired, etc but its not the customers fault. I really didnt appreciate the way I was treated nor my things that I was buying. She needs to maybe handle her anger in private.

Pretty decent Dollar Tree. I came in here on a weekday morning, looking for some supplies for an organization project. I didnt find exactly what I needed but I browsed the whole store and was overall impressed by the deals.I was amazed by the amount of Halloween items in stock here. They have candy, Halloween decor, party supplies, pumpkin carving equipment and even some very basic costume accessories.I was in here in the middle of October and was surprised that they had a good amount of Christmas goods in stock.This is always a great place to grab cleaning supplies.Greeting cards have gone up quite a bit at Walmart, so you can grab some here for 2 for $1! I always stock up on sympathy, anniversary and birthday cards here to have around the house. They also have a ton of gift wrap supplies such as ribbons, wrapping paper and bags.I dont buy food at Dollar Tree, but they had a pretty large section of the store devoted to edibles.If you are moving into a new place and need some basic supplies, this is a great place to come!

I came in for a birthday card for my mother and found one. Also picked up some little knickknacks for the Easter holiday coming up. Customer service was good. Only con was the smell in the store.

Just your typical Dollar Tree store. But some of the cashiers are rude and seem to hate being there! This this particular situation, I said hello to a cashier and with a distributed face, she looks at me and did not say a thing. Once my things were in bags, she did not wait to for me to get my things out to check out the next customer.

This store is very well staffed and very friendly.

The ONLY Garner location with Helium tonight, wont blow up 6 balloons for me for my baby shower in the morning because, theyre running low, other people may need some balloons blown up tonight. Ok, so what? What difference does it make if 1 person buys 6 balloons, or 6 people buy 1 balloon? I hope you dont sell ANY now. Rude!

This was the best visit ever.

Store manager was rude and showed poor customer service when refusing to checkout customers due to a long line. I should have gotten her name because that was unacceptable especially since there was a long line. I will be letting the corporate office know about this

This store does not require their customers to wear face masks. I was in there and at least three people walked in without a mask. Also the cashier had the mask off of his nose. I will no longer shop at this Dollar tree.

Great customer service.

I walked in got what I needed but when I got to the register is when I had a issue. Sales associate Tamika looks at me and does not speak. I don’t know if it’s because I had my sunglasses on or what. But when she starts ringing me up she still does not speak so it toke me say hello to get her to say something. But she speaks to the person right behind me! Again I don’t know what the issue was but I just found that rude.

Dollar Tree is a great place to shop they have all the items of a small grocery store and items of auto , kitchen , Bath , and items you would not think they carry . I suggest EVERYONE to check it out you will be surprised of what this store carry . If one Dollar Tree do not have what you want another one will . Happy shopping . 😁

Honestly... i overspend every time Im here. But it always -Gets the things i need and originally came here for- then i see something i like and its usually an extra 30 minutes and money i didnt need/shouldnt have spent. But i LOVE the Dollar Tree.

I purchased lens wipes that were dried out and tried to return them and gave my receipt to the teller who said I could not exchange the item because the receipt was not legible. I told her it was not my fault that they gave me a poorly printed receipt. My receipt showed that I had spent 38 dollars and I only wanted to get lens wipes that were moist. The teller was rude and said their policy was that a receipt has to be legible. She was rude and sarcastic. They need to get ink to print out good receipts . I told her I would not shop there again. She continued being rude and very unfriendly. When I asked to see the manager she said you are looking at her. I will tell my friends about my experience in the Garner store.I am glad the store in CAry has friendly and helpful workers not like the Garner store.

This has got to be the worst Dollar tree store I have ever visited no customer service whatsoever manager was called to the front so that a customer could load card and she never came customer end up walking outlines were backed up with only two cashiers both with very nasty attitude and did not care if they were there or not and the store was not clean I cant believe there is a Dollar tree like out of all I have visited across the country

I bought a few things, but this is a small, dingy store with little crafting available. A sad Dollar Tree location...but ALWAYS friendly. The staff are 5 stars.

I called asking if they had Mardi gras masks just now and was asked to call back in five minutes because the person was on the register. I asked if they had someone else there with them and they said were both on the registers. I said uh okay thank you. And the reply was yup and they hung up. VV ery uunprofessional. I understand being understaffed and busy, but you never tell a customer to call back because youre busy . Obviously management needs to hire some extra help. Disappointed in the way that phone conversation went down and I will not be shopping at this location in the future.

For it to be Easter weekend, I got in and back out again rather quickly.

Pamela is very rude and racist to say the least. She was unwelcoming and not customer friendly. Her words were harsh and she should be fired! My son had to go to the restroom and they do not have one, the cashier was going very slow and my son was doing the potty dance. Rather than let him go to the bathroom on himself I asked employee to suspend and took him to the restroom. Once I returned Pamela was very rude and said next time pay first. As a consumer and parent that is very frustrating and I ended up taking my business elsewhere. I will never shop there ever again!!!

I stoped by this location today to buy few items. One of the items was the marshmallow hot chocolate. I noticed 3 of the boxes were expired from June 2017. I heard someone in their stock room so I walked to the door entrance and politely told the young lady these were expired. She grabbed them from my hand and never thank me. After I was done shopping I walked to the register and asked the young lady Faye who her co worker was and she said shes the Assistant Manager. I told her the story and asked her who the store Manager was and she said I Am. I have worked in Retail for over 10 plus years and never witnessed nothing like this where both managers were rude and never apologized or thanked me. I think its time for their District Manager to have a heart to heart with (his or hers)managment team at thos location. I will NOT be shopping here anymore!!!

They have a variety of items to buy. Have great affodable stocking stuffers and secret Santa items.

There is a new employee that has made me feel unwelcome. 1st encounter with her, she is stocking shelves and has tried to block the area/aisle where I need to get products, she questions why I need those products and suggests that I have a problem &need to see a dr. I dont think its her business if I prefer to use natural methods of healing /medicating myself. After all I am spending money in your store. I was embarrassed in front of the other customers and another employee.I dismissed the incident as her having a bad day.2nd encounter with the same employee, she was again stocking shelves & completely blocked the aisle, so much so that when I went around to get a product she would not let me shop.At that point I told my friend to leave everything &lets go. I refuse to be /shop where I am not wanted. I have shopped in that store since its opening. I will not be back!I have worked in retail &understand that the products cant be bought if not properly inventoried, but maybe stocking should be done by more courteous people who want the store to make money, & possibly at a time when you are not open or have fewer customers. I have never been made to feel like I was the intruder at a retail store before.This is very counter-productive to the purpose of a retail store. She had a very strong, negative, attitude. I commented on her attitude to the cashier as I was leaving the store after the 2nd encounter.You will not keep customers if your employees embarrass/harass them about their choices or refuse to let them get the things they need.Its been 2 weeks since I last went to taste location. I am very saddened by the fact that I am no longer wanted in that store. If I go back it will be to find out her name ONLY! This Dollar Tree has been very helpful and good about deliveries from online orders to the store.

Short trip to pick up a few things. Still do not have OJ or Grapefruit juice due to an issue with cooling. You have had this problem for over 60 days and should have fixed it by now. I have had to go out of my way to find another Dollar Tree. If this problem is not fixed sooner than later, I will not bother to stop by your store. I am sure some of your other customers have felt inconvenienced as well. Get it together $ TREE...

So much Ice in front of the store until I was afraid to go in for fear of falling. After getting inside only one cashier to wait on a line of people wrapped around and almost went to the wall at the end of the store. I like shopping there, but was very disappointed.
