The worst experience I have ever had with a school, no one knows anything, absolutely zero help with receiving records. I would give zero stars if possible, definitely not the school for us. Do your homework and make sure it is a right fit for your students and family.

I am a counselor with Insight Academy of Arizona. Our school culture is, without a doubt, the best working environment Ive ever encountered. Our academic director, Erica Cunningham, works tirelessly to support our efforts by providing oversight, assistance, guidance, and freedom. She accepts that we are professionals in our respective fields and allows us the freedom to exercise our professional judgement (within reason) for the best interest of our students. We receive students who are removed from other schools for various reasons... attendance, health, bullying, behavior, academic performance.... For many students, we are the last hope. Our teachers hold live lessons, help sessions, small groups, and individual sessions. Our advisors reach out to each student each week. Our counselors reach out to each student each trimester. The result is students who are engaged and who achieve. Our school certainly isnt perfect... but we know where we need to improve. We have expert leadership who target specific areas for improvement and challenge the staff to identify solutions that we can implement to better support our students and one another in achieving those targeted goals. I can assure you though, while were not perfect, the passion our staff exudes and the level of support your student will receive with Insight Academy of Arizona is unmatched. If youre on the fence about enrolling a student with our school, speak with our academic director, a counselor, or an advisor. Come down off that fence and meet the people who will be responsible for helping your student achieve greatness - see just how passionate, excited, and dedicated we are.

Terrible customer service. It would go to the point where it would take 20-40 minutes just for them to hang up. They dont know how to help with anything. We would try calling them over, and over again just for them to be unable to help.

This is one of the worst programs I have ever used. I’ve been a student for a little over a week and have had nothing but trouble since I started. They sent me faulty equipment that boots me out of my live classes, the whole computer freezes, and none of the teachers explain the material thoroughly. The amount of stupidity I feel doing this is extremely high Becaise of the fact I get booted out of my live classes mid session.

Its a great school but if you are a person with really low grades an doesnt have the ability to go to the school up there try online high schools that you can sit in.

My son was in 8th grade and had an IEP since he was in 5th grade. We withdrew him from Combs and started AZVA. By the end of the first year (9th grade) he didnt need an IEP anymore. He took his GED one week after his 16th birthday and started college at Chandler Gilbert Community a few weeks later. He maintains a GPA above 3.0 and is transferring to ASU with an AAS in Information Technology and Linux Certificate. My daughter attended AZVA from 7th grade. She also started college at 16 and transferred to NAU.The AZVA program prepares children for todays workplace. My daughter is working at Charles Schwab. That was her first job after her Associates degree.I would recommend AZVA to parents who have the time to commit to their childrens education. I was working full time outside the home during many of my daughters years at AZVA. The courses have curricula that is interesting to the kids and keeps them excited about learning! The staff is good with assisting and there are live sessions for collaborative learning if you want to take advantage of that. This was also very nice when we wanted to go on vacation, my son could do his homework while we were at the hotel.AZVA may not be for everyone. However, there are students who have different learning styles from brick and mortar, pencil and paper, As an online professor myself, I do believe AZVA was instrumental in the success of my childrens academic and professional careers. The elementary schools here do not use online or blended learning at all. Poston Butte is an exception where they do have laptops for each high school student. I think my son who attended Poston Butte is even at a lower technical level than his brother who attended AZVA.Thanks AZVA, You made a significant difference in the lives of my children and our family!
