I loved this location, but sadly it has fallen on hard times. The parking lot is filthy, the stores floors are dirty, fewer employees, the ones there do a tremendous job. Saw a man walk to the back entrance, enter and take and walk off with a large water container without paying. Guess this the new society we live in.

If your a regular or local shopper here at store#54 then you are familiar with the employees and other clients as well. My point is that you can find just about everything you might need or want at a very low price. Great brand names top of the line customer service 👏 and management is still making changes too improve

Ive been coming to this location from time to time for about 10 years, theres always a wide selection of items and very good prices available. I was not able to visit this location for about a year right when the pandemic started. I visited again recently to grab a few things and I was surprised to see that the shelves got smaller (in height) and there were fewer variety of items. COVID seems to have taken a hold of a lot of businesses and making a lot of things either be on backorder or temporarily OOS. Im hoping this location never closes at all, its walking distance from my house!I also want to give a shout out to the male cashier who is always in the greatest of moods and is extremely polite, courteous, and a fast cashier. He knows customer service very well and can even properly deal with the Karen customers!

First impressions are important. My first time at this 99cent store and it was great. It was because of the greeter Mike. He has such a pleasant attitude and helpful. I know thats his job, but many people do not do their job correctly. Thank you Mike(Michael). Keep up the good work, Mike. Oh the store is clean and organized, too. Went to this particular 99 to find an iridescent “HAPPY BIRTHDAY,” because I had seen it there about a month ago. Was elated to find they still had them. I found a bunch of other perfect birthday party supplies and some treats for a no bake cheesecake I would be making too. May update this post later with a picture of the birthday party!

I go to this store everyday to make sure I dont miss a deal. Been going since 2006. Although employees have changed over the years. Some are a little rough around the edges. Michael and Cilia are the best! I only go to there lines for check out. The employees were stock the shelfs and produce department are so nice.

It’s 95 outside and they keep a long line in heat. By the way, front entrance has shade but they choose to make kids and elderly people boil in the sun. Manager should really think about setting up tents like others stores do, or opening main door instead.

Nice place to shop. Not crowded. Across street from a Goodwill..Manager needs to be a little nicer. There was a line forming outside and it was blazing hot..he didnt care, because he was inside the air conditioned store..He was rude to an elderly man who was out in the hot sun waiting. I was there on Sunday afternoon 7/5/2020, and he was telling an employee that there was going to be a visit the next day and told her to fix ailes and make everything look neat which he should have told her in private and not in front of customers. 99 cent store on San Fernando Road in Glendale very good. The location was clean, items stocked on shelves, a nice variety of products. The produce is good. I was able to buy 3 days worth of groceries under $20. Parking available in back.

It was really great company and everything they have here was affordable. I am amazed with the varieties of fresh fruits and vegetable. Clean and well organized.

There is not enough cashiers, long lines, it was packed, everything was disorganized, no social distancing, some of the fruits and veggies are all nasty and there was no one to help me when I needed help.

This is one of the biggest 99 cents only store I have been around this area including Glendale & Burbank. The selection of items is very good, the employees are friendly & fast at the register, most of them that is. The parking is decent size but let me tell you its usually pretty packed. Its open till 10pm so you can make it for last minute nightly needs!

This store has become very busy within last 2yrs. Check out can take you a few minutes waiting time. But theyll usually open another register if long lines form.

First time at this store! Lines were long and thought it was going to take forever. I got in a line with the worker Andres, who is a kind worker and works very fast. Overall great experience and also great selection on all items, including the holiday stuff!!!

Store worn out but organized. The outside, front and back is very dirty and trash all around. Part of the store prices are 1.99 and up which defeats the.99c only store, but you are still able to find good bargains. This is the only place I can find great avocados. There has been a few outburst and arguments between customers where there has been threats and managers who are present do not nothing.

Dont know what I would do without the very affordable frills I buy here like gift wrap, party supplies, mineral water, organic canned goods, some organic produce from time to time, and little hardware items, candles, etc. Can even be thrilling. Plus I really like the in store music.

Parking in rear of store. Searched for an item. Playing cards. One store clerk says it was on aisle one. Next clerk says it was on aisle three on left side. After 15 minutes of searching a helper says we dont have that I just looked for another customer. Disappointed but of course I picked up a few items of interest on my way out.

They have a lot of useful stuff, but a small auto accessories on an isle. Its always crowded with shoppers. With the exception of a few, the cashiers are not very friendly. When asked where something is or if they carry it, some employees say no. But in reality they do carry it.

I bought an Easter item yesterday and was not told that I cannot get it exchanged because it is a seasonal item and today I went to exchange it and the cashier said you cannot exchange it and I asked why there isnt a sign saying that we dont take back anything seasonal shes like there is a sign and it was behind her some where no one can see written very small plus its only the beginning of the season and they wont take it back which I dont understand plus, other stores dont take things back usually at the end of the season not the beginning.

Great place to visit as they always have a variety of products to choose from. Snacks, food, books, toys, household items, accessories and merchandise to choose from.

This location is large with ample parking, usually well stocked an less busy than most 99 cents only stores.

Plenty of parking in the rear. This store has two entrances and exits. One in the front on the street and one in the rear at the parking lot. This is probably why the checkout stands have short lines because people are using both. Plenty of shopping carts, buy limited on hand-carry baskets.

Great deals for some basic grocery and home stuff. This place is kind of dingy, but usually tidy.

Its 2016 but they have signs that says Congratz class of 2013! Out lol... They have pretty much everything there... But keep in mind you get what you pay for... :-)
