OfficeMax over Staples for me from now on! I had two books that needed to be spiral bound. Lets just say staples gave less than stellar service. I asked OfficeMax if they would be able to fix the problem by the end of the day and they said they would. I had the pleasure of Nadalie fixing my books. She was so kind and efficient. She did a beautiful job! It was cheaper and faster. Thank you, Office Max, for your great customer service. You made a lifelong customer out of me.

I was shopping for an office chair I picked one that was on sale for $89.99 from 179.99 item#219491 at your OfficeMax store on 1571 w Dysart Rd in Avondale AZ. When I went to the register to check out I was informed by Justin long hair white guy that this item was out of stock he suggested to order it and have it delivered. I mentioned I needed it for next day. He said he could check if another store had it available. He said the store at 7974 W Bell rd in Glendale AZ has 6 of those in stock. I drove 13 miles to the store he suggested. I picked up the item at the Glendale store and when I was checking out at the register the cashier told me the chair was 179.99 and I said I was sent over from the OfficeMax at Dysart and advised to come over and buy it here since they were out of stock there. Manager said that that price was no longer current that it was on sale and it ended the day before. I said the employees at the store in Dysrat had sent me over to buy it here. Manager refused to honor the price they had advertised and displayed on the item. He said it was not his fault the other store didnt change the price. Even though they have a policy diaplayed at the register that states that if an item has the wrong price on display the manager should override the price to the lowest amount. Bad business practice they dont do what their policy says and false advertise

No one in this store wears a mask in the middle of a pandemic. Absolutely no one. Will not be shopping here again.

Awful customer service! Im not even sure why they have employees in the store. No one is around to help you and once I found someone to help in the Print Center they rudely just pointed to the copiers and told me to do it myself. So sorry I botherd you to do your job! I will go to Staples for any of my office needs from now on.

Update: They reached out to me as seen below only to give me false information once they responded. When I told them I was told different information they never responded again. So I reached out to the number I had originally called where I was told by Geoffrey he would handle my claim even though thats not something he normally does. Only to be told by another woman that is in fact his job, this was his case and it was closed. When I requested to speak to his supervisor, I was given a disconnected number. Such amazing customer service. I stand by staying away from this dump.Went to pick something up. Associate slammed my car door so hard she broke my window. Reached out immediately. Was told the GM was gone for the day but took my information down. Called the next day, I was working. Left a rude message pretty much telling me not to call the store again, gave me a number to Sedgwick. I reached out to them, they told me to get an estimate and photos. Fast forward to today, I get an email from the insurance adjuster Geoffrey who pretty much called me a liar, saying the associate said the window was down, which it wasnt. Its interesting that this profound discovery was found more than a week after I reported it within minutes.Now I have a broken window that was perfectly fine when I got there. $8 sure did cost me. Will never be going to the dump again and I strongly suggest not shopping in this dump.

I walked into the store to quickly grab a Bluetooth device. Under 5 mins Two representatives Josh & a lady int he front helped me find that product which would have taken me ~30 mins or more. Thank you for the great service.

First and foremost the staff as whole are wonderful, friendly and polite. Emily went above and beyond to see if an office chair was in stock. Then Sarah went all over the in search of the chair. She then escorted to the register while making polite conversation. Thank you for all your assistance!

Copy and print associate acted like she couldn’t care less. I understand if there’s technical issues, but respond to them in a way acknowledging that you understand it’s an inconvenience for the customer, rather than making the customer feel the whole time that she’s an inconvenience for you. Other associates stood around, not bothering to offer me a hand as I rushed to gather my materials together, even after I expressed I was in a rush. Very unwelcoming location.

Poor customer service. Was looking to buy a pen refill; asked a male employee who was walking towards me. His demeanor was very negative....what do you want!. I told him not to worry and found what I needed on my own. The cashier was ok.

The employee in printing is on if the rudest person I have seen in retail. Has no perspective on customer service or how to relate to people.. I was ask for my phone number when I said I dont want to give my number. She rolled her eyes shook head and ask again. I said no she very rudely said I need it that is how we do things here..... I never seen to a store that requires a number to purchase a item at there store when you are standing in front of the person

Officemax had just what we needed. We checked their website, and they were right on track. Customer service at the store were very helpful.

Since the merger of OfficeMax and OfficeDepot and the closing of our store, which was closer to us, we shop here less often. However, they are the go-to place for professional looking copies in quantities too large for the home copier, and in both B/W and Color. We also shop for supplies for our home offices.Recently, I had to replace my printer. We checked price points across several stores for the features we wanted. OfficeMax at this location was the only store we checked where a sales person stopped by to ask if he could help and spent some time answering my questions.This store got the sale for that reason.Weve been pleased with the products and helpful personnel here.

This place is easy to see from the street. It looks kind of ghetto from the outside but its nice on the inside and has everything you could possibly need.

I like this location for printing. There is as location closer to me, but I pass it to come to this one because they other can hardly print same day.
