There are lots of tools readily available, such as a laser engraver, plot cutters, 3D printers, large format printers, and probably even more that I forgot.As far as getting your work done, internet is plenty fast. The helpful technical staff was helpful in setting up the printers and any other technical issues that may arise. There are private conference rooms that are good for small meetings, as well as larger rooms that can house a whole classroom.The supporting staff is very friendly and professional, always willing to lend out a hand whenever possible. Plus, they maintain a sense of family by setting up little fun events for the people who rent out the desks (potluck yay).If youre looking for a place to belong, START is definitely the place.

As the technical lead for a SaaS startup that was recently acquired by a major East Coast company, I have to say that the co-working spaces at START were an integral part of my teams ability to plan, develop, and execute on our product. The space is modern and well designed. Conference rooms and facilities are clean and almost always open and flexible in terms of scheduling and meeting your daily or special event needs (in-town guests/clients, etc.).Dont let the fact that its a school fool you. The separation is appropriate and the positive impression you and your team will make on the eager youngsters is palpable and serves as a motivator for your own work. There are ample opportunities to engage with the next generation and be as involved as you like in shaping your future citizens and coworkers. Not many places give you that opportunity! Maybe youll even find a good intern or two, like we did.Unlike most other co-working spaces, START makes you feel more like family than simply another renter.
