There are not enough good words in my vocabulary to express my satisfaction with The CC at the Carrier location in Grand Prairie. My daughter was 5 months old when I started sending her to daycare--and yes, this was May 2020, so right in the middle of the pandemic. We really didnt have another option for childcare, and the location was great for us--right around the corner. Mrs. Georgia and Mrs. Frankie made me feel right at home even during the enrollment process. Mrs. Sarah the director, is AMAZING, and so are the all of the teachers. Im a first time mom, and yes, I am one of THOSE crazy, neurotic, worried, hands-on, asks a ton of questions, likes to be informed, kind of moms. I cried on our first day of daycare, but Mrs. Sarah and Mrs. Frankie comforted me.Fast forward 6 months. My daughter will be almost a year old, and she LOVES going to daycare, which makes my mommy heart happy, and I feel less guilty as a working mom. She gets upset when I pick her up because she loves her teachers and friends, and she LOVES the playground (typical child, lol). All of the teachers look out for my baby girl, and all of them give me al kinds of detailed reports about her day, well-being, mood, etc. I love the cameras they have in the rooms--it makes me feel like my baby is safe, and I never miss out on anything. I can drop in on her and see if shes giving the teachers a hard time at nap time, watch her read/play/sleep/eat. They keep a really great schedule for the infants, and their curriculum is really good. Im an educator, so these are the types of things I look for.In addition, to the teacher to child ratio is unbeatable, and the attention my daughter gets beats what I could give her as a working mom trying to navigate pandemic + working from home + baby. The facilities are SUPER clean (I toured before the pandemic hit, and of all of the daycares I saw, this one was impeccable). Everyone does a fantastic job of upholding COVID standards, and I feel like my daughter is safe while still getting to flourish and grow. Finally, I like to chat with the other parents at drop-off and pick-up, and I am always so happy (and not surprised) to hear that other parents are more than satisfied with the daycare. Many of them tell me that they have been taking their kids to the same location since they were infants, which as a new parent, definitely tells me I found a great spot.I read some of the other reviews and I want to say that my child is one of those kids that gets incident reports several times a month. My daughter is incredibly clumsy (gets it from me). The few times she has come home with a bump or a tiny bruise, I am always informed of the incident as soon as if happens and they do a GREAT job of treating bumps and bruises no matter how small. My baby learned to crawl and is learning to stand and walk mostly while she’s at daycare. Her dad and I both know that minor bumps and bruises are going to happen as she explored her world and learns to be independent. Plus—her pediatrician (who is highly decorated and sought-after in the metroplex) told me that she is always somewhat concerned when children and babies come in and the parents aren’t fussing over minor bumps and bruises; it means that the children are being allowed to explore the world AND SIMULTANEOUSLY are being cared for as much as possible my parents. All of this to say that yes, kids may come back with a few bumps and bruises, but nothing that is not out of the ordinary for a growing, developing child. My kid, for example, has hit her head a few times with some toys and tumbled over while learning to stand on her own. I’ve never been surprised or upset, and to be fair, the bumps and bruises she comes home with are virtually invisible (I notice because I’m THAT mom and I’m grateful for the teachers for telling me what happens). If you are looking for a daycare that will care about you and your child(ren), has loving and top-notch educators, and is both compliant AND flexible, look no further. I plan to stay with this location of CC for a very, VERY long time.

I’m not one to write reviews so just know that I love this daycare enough to take the time to do this. This is hands down the best school my son has ever been to, he’s two now and he was there for about a year. Unfortunately we moved away so we had to change schools. He learned so much and the teachers are incredible, not once did I feel like they were frustrated or irritable... they were always so patient and kind. The cameras were the selling point for me, being able to log in and watch him live made me feel at ease. In fact, I loved the teachers and staff so much that I felt comfortable enough to not even think about having to watch the cameras. I LOVE THIS PLACE. I can’t stress enough, I have yet to find another school that meets my expectations other than the children’s courthouse on S carrier pkwy. This place is worth the price.

Couldnt be happier the care my child receives. My wife was apprehensive of leaving our 6 week old with anyone but after his first week she was sold. The staff is beyond friendly and welcoming. The bright wheel app. and camera system gives us the ability to watch our son through out the day with not missing key moments. The price is high but all childcare is. I can truly say we get our moneys worth. The infant care and curriculum is phenomenal.

This place is a nightmare. From the first day my son went there, he came home with a golf size bruise. Every other week he will come home with some type of bruise. One time a teacher ran him over with a door and one of the teachers comment was well he should not been standing there. REALLY....a baby should know better and not stand by a door. Lets just say I pulled him out that place after 2 short month. I told a few of my friends who work in the hospital with me and one of them said there is a Texas state website you can go to and look up the childcare facility and their incidents/reports. Parents please review before placing your child in their care. I really wished I have known about this website before believing all these positive reviews online.

Above average in some areas. I have visited every other daycare in this area and I believe this is the better choice. Facility is clean, rooms are spacious, and my child enjoys going to school. My only complaint is that my child rarely takes home art work/projects. We were used to her bring home artwork almost every day at our last school. This may be a classroom issue not a school issue. The classes can be quite big especially in the morning if staff is missing, which has been happening more often. The directors seem knowledgeable, although you wont get much interaction from them. Other areas make up for the deficits, pay can be done online and the daily sheets are done online which eliminates excessive papers. Overall this is a good school.

Worst daycare ever! Frankie, head of the daycare, was very rude and very unprofessional and in how she addressed my wife and I when discussing my sons behavior. My son, whos 3 years old, had problems adjusting to the change and acted out as any three year would. However, Frankie was very quick to inform us that if he had three incident reports she would be asking us to leave. From what I was told by other staff members this wasnt policy at all. So I couldnt help but feel signaled out and unwelcome. I was even told by Frankie that a childs behavior has a lot to say about his foundation at home! Not quite sure how to take this but its not something a devoted parent wants to hear. To say the least, she was argumentative, unprofessional and simply showed a lack of concern for our son and more of a concern for what people saw on camera. The last draw was when an error with payment occurred. Though no fault of ours, and an error that only took an hour or so to correct, Sara and Frankie were both very quick to ask us to pick all three of our kids up...since as Sara put it, weve already gotten a days worth of free day care. I did not ever feel at ease with my kids here and I would definitely not recommend this daycare to anyone else.

My daughter just started at this daycare on Aug 1. So far I love it and she does as well. They keep the kids entertained all day long. I also love the fact that she is ready to go to bed at a decent time now since she is so tired from being there during the day :) I wish I would have enrolled here there sooner. Thanks CCY I look forward to many more years with you guys!!!!

Our little guy attended for almost 4 years! We recently moved away and had to leave these sweet people behind. Mrs. Dolores, Mrs. Hiba, Mrs. Angie, Mrs. Frankie and Mrs. Mia were all intregal parts to the development and learning of our son. Without them day care wouldnt have been the same for him. They all were very patient, understanding and took the time to have one on one time when he needed it. The transitioning between classes was very difficult for him and they took the time to slowly take him out of an old classroom and into the new one. I only wish i could take them all with me!

Rude Management. They constantly find ways to get into your pockets. And they hunt you down for every dollar. Even for things you dont want to signup for they stick it to you and make it a must pay. This place is over priced for what you get. Subpar for sure, yet they think they are the only game in town. I have had it with attitude of this management, and will start looking for a replacement. If you OK with highway robbery, this is the place for you. Not to mention several parent vehicles got their glass broken into and items stolen. Makes you feel unsafe.

Very disappointed with this facility! I understand that ANY daycare is a place of business but not once did I ever get the sense that the Childrens Courtyard was anything but a BUSINESS! They also seemed more concerned with connecting with the parents via emails than they did with interacting with the kids. In one day I received a total of FIFTEEN reports informing me of when my child ate and when my child pooped! Fifteen...and mind you thats just to one parent. Theres more than 10 kids in each room at a time who have more than one parent involved. That would be more than 250 emails A DAY! Who has time to do this AND watch 10 kids?! I also did not appreciate the fact that I had to leave work a total of 3 times in ONE week because they were unable to give my child adequate care. In one incident my son was wrestling with another kid and was scratched in the face. I had to pick my son up in the middle of the day because of this, HE was scratched but yet he had to leave for the day. In another incident he would not stop crying so I had to leave work to pick him up. However, come to find out he was taken out of the classroom and made to sit in the office. I did not feel comfortable with this simply because he was out of view from the cameras and all of a sudden crying uncontrollably. Theres more incidents that I just did not like and for that reason we have since moved on. I do not recommend this place to anyone and good luck if you do enroll your child!!!!!

I was very skeptical about transferring my daughter here due to being dissatisfied with our previous daycare and some reviews I have read on here.. With that being said it was natural for my wife and I to pay very close tattention to every little detail and some...This daycare has turned out to be a great surprise and I am VERY satisfied with all the staff members and also the curriculum. From the directors to the teachers there is great communication with us and everyone seems to genuinely care. One of the directors was recognized for serving 20 yrs and in honor this location is now dedicated to her.. There is a real sense of pride and Im proud that I have the privilege to take my daughter here to such a well ran establishment. One thing I want to especially point out. Since my daughter has attended this daycare/school shes learned to say thank you and bless you .... did I mention shes not even 2 yet?

It would really be nice if the newborn/toddler school actually opened on time. My grandson has been attending this facility for a couple of years, and soooo many times they are late, then greet the waiting parents and kids with irritation instead of apologies. The tuition is too high for us to consistently have to deal with this.

Recommended by a client, I decided to enroll my 4 yrs old son here, the facility is clean yes, but tge directors and some teachers are just tooooo much, every daycare should have discipline programs and the teachers should be well prepared to work with toddlers, my sons teacher will be sitting because he overweight would not allow her to move much, picked him up in the middle of the morning several days un a werk because the teacher was exhausted from chasing after him, this day care is more BUSINESS driven, if your child is not a robot or soldier like, dont bother, besides that is expensive, is BAD, bot recommed this to anyone, you will be tricked when you walk in, but VERY dissapointed after few weeks!

I typically dont write reviews but after reading some of the previously posted reviews, I felt inclined. For the past 4 years, my children have received great care from the staff at CCY. CCYs management staff are always polite and respectful. When issues arise we discuss them and develop plans for resolution. The facilities are well maintained and the staff is consistent. Low attrition speaks volumes about the way a business is managed. The director at CCY knows about our childrens school schedules and attends there performances (after hours btw, thats dedication). Our daughter left CCYs advanced pre-k class reading at a 1st grade level. I couldnt be more pleased with the quality of care we receive and I highly recommend.

My daughter has attended CCY since she was 8 weeks old. Shes now 3 and in the Pre-School classroom. The teachers have all been great and my daughter constantly surprises us with the things shes learned. CCY is perfectly located for my family and I love that they offer additional classes (e.g. ballet, computers, etc.) during the school day. We plan to have my daughter attend CCY at least until Kindergarten.
