Former student. The education is okay. The teachers are so friendly, but I my experience I failed to see the Christian aspect of the school. I needed help and spiritual guidance and the only thing they did was push me away and made look like I was insane. The way the delt with my depression didnt help either. Also, if youre not in good with the administration or part of their families, good luck 👍

My son has been going to Matthew Road Academy since he was 13 years old. They have all of your core classes. We love this school because it gives you so many options to pick from for whatever works for you and your child/children. They offer great electives and and do some really neat field trips. Most importantly they love the Lord. We have freedom at Matthew Road Academy to do what works best for your family and you get to be with your child more often than not. The schedule works amazingly so that you still get to be involved in your child’s growth and education. My son has learned so much at this school. The staff is so attentive and care about my son and his future. Matthew Road has truly become like family to us. My son graduates next year and we are sad to be leaving this school but so happy he was blessed to be educated by none but the best.

Excellent program! Patient and caring instructors, always there to help parents and their students succeed. I would definitely recommend to any family, looking for a full-time program, as well as part-time to supplement those subjects you sometimes cannot seem to get around to.

Weve been at Matthew road for 5 years. We love the university model style of education. It truly is the best of both worlds with certified teachers and the flexibility of homeschool. My daughter has the freedom to move ahead when not being challenged enough in certain areas. We have really enjoyed watching the school grow and thrive!!

We love Matthew Road Academy. My children have attended for 4 years. The teachers are all so wonderful and gifted. I feel like my children are in a safe and Christian environment. We love the University model.

My daughter actually started off at the preschool at Matthew Road when she was 10 months old until she went to kindergarten. It was a sad day when we left but she was ahead of the game when she got into school. We did public school and homeschool with varying success. We were so happy they started this academy, its the perfect situation for us. Structure without stifling, the teachers are amazing and truly care about the kids. If your kiddo struggles in math Mrs. A is AMAZING! Thank you Matthew Road Academy for giving my 14 year old with anxieties a safe and loving place to learn.

We just completed our second year at MRA. From the first day of school, we were welcomed with open arms and felt completely at home. Mrs. McClellin, as well as all of the teachers, are fantastic. Looking forward to another year there with all three of our children.

MRA has been an amazing environment for our son for the last 4 years and wish we had found it sooner! The entrance eval was perfect to put him in the classes of his ability instead of just what is assigned for his grade. There are SO many choices for both core and elective classes, and he looks forward to school days!

When I first pulled my children out of public school I was terrified. Homeschooling turned out to be a disaster for us we needed accountability but being in a 5 day a week program just didn’t work for us either. The teachers at Matthew Road Academy not only held my kids accountability wise, but raised the bar. My oldest caught up to and exceeded his own academic expectations and my youngest was able to thrive instead of being held back. The schedule worked so well for our family and the cost is something we can handle instead of breaking the bank. We are truly blessed to be a MRA families and are excited that our oldest will be apart of the Class of 2018! Go Roadrunners!

Best decision our family has made regarding our childrens school experience/education!

This is a great homeschool option. We used Matthew Road Academy for our secondary education and feel truly blessed.

I have been a student at MRA for 4 years and its the best school i have been to! The teachers are so kind and friendly, and also have great teaching experience. Many of the high school teachers teach at TCC or TCU so they know how to prepare students for college! If your student struggles with a specific class or multiple classes, teachers are very open to helping students and want to help the students the best they can! It is easy to make friends at MRA, there is about 10 min to socialize and get to your next class after each period along with about 1 hour of lunch. So your student will have plenty of time to socialize with others and make friends! Since the school is only 2 days a week there can be more homework than some public schools. Teachers understand that sometimes that can be overwhelming so they are very gracious! For those who are bad test takers, some teachers hand out take home tests which gives the student more time to take their test with less stress. Overall i very much recommend MRA!
