Definitely do not recommend this school if your child has any type of special needs or delays. I was told my child was going to receive a school evaluation to see what needs should be provided and to start a iep but before any of that was done we were called for a meeting basically telling us that my child can’t go to school full time they came up with that idea without any proper evaluation nor did they follow the MTSS PROCESS which they promote on their website which is suppose to give support for students as well as teachers for children who need extra help in school. The other option they strongly suggested was basically just putting him in another school which in another school my child will still have to go through the same evaluation process They also promote individualize learning which also doesn’t seems like they provide as well. The School definitely let my child down.

Next Generation Academy is unlike any school that I have ever seen! I have been in education for over 15 years and I also have two small children. They are students here and they love it! The school is such a strong community and not only so but my kids feel wanted and supported there. They have the top-of-the-line equipment to clean the facility, the teachers are compassionate, and the administration is on point. The support staff is phenomenal and my children come home happy and they can’t wait to tell me what they have learned. The facility is top of the line also! I highly recommend NGA to any and everyone.😍👍🏽

The transportation department is unorganized. Administration has failed to notifiy parents of bus changes to many times as if parents do not work. There is no back up plan in place other than having these elementary age babies on buses for 3+ hours at a time. Fed up and will be removing my children.

I have had a very positive experience at this school. We have wonderful families that are, for the most part, committed to helping their students succeed. The administration and staff really care about each other and each student. NGA has a beautiful facility and is always looking for ways to improve. I would not want to be anywhere else.

I just started working at NGA this past August, and I LOVE this school! Theres a great family oriented environment here. The staff work so well together and with the students and parents! I feel appreciated here and that just makes we want to give 110%! I have become invested in this short period of time, and I would highly recommend NGA to any parent! The facility is also beautiful and welcoming!

My family and I love it here. The education and passion to succeed is A+. My son began his education at NGA. He is now in 2nd grade where he continues to soar. The communication, compassion and conscience effort on behalf of administration makes it a great experience.

Weve been with NGA since 2018 when the school opened and our daughter was in kindergarten. Were SO proud of the school, the teachers and the administration. Theyve faced many challenges and have embraced them all while keeping the students best interests. My daughter has enjoyed ALL of her teachers at NGA and I love the family feel I get everytime I come to the school. As a parent, I am very active and involved and I think that helps with developing positive relationships. Although my daughter has been completely virtual this year shes had a great 2nd grade experience. Her teacher Ms. Morris is AMAZING! She has a wonderful personality and is truly a great asset to NGA. Dr. Misher and Mr. Florance have been wonderful and their leadership is greatly appreciated.

Im new here to North Carolina my granddaughter goes here I think the teachers are great and the curriculum is excellent the only that sucks is the bus services if your a working parent the stops where the children is to get picked up are too far away, where I have to drive 5 to 7 minutes to get there so the bus service serves no purpose. It isnt convenient at all.

19-20:Highly do not recommend. The school administrators and teachers will lie to you. For instance when we signed up we were told that there was a school being built ( Not true proof on their FB page), the children would be receiving tablets ( Its been 2 years and still have yet to see them), we were also told that there was a playground being built on sight for the school children (It was a very small one built for the churches day care.). Then as of this year most of the employees have left, through the school year, which is not the ideal situation for these children. The teacher in which my child has this year has okay little one coming home begging to never have to go back to school, mind you in the last 3yrs my child celebrated school. Also be aware that a lot of this staff will shut your childs feelings down, instead of helping them work through it. (I listened to several teachers telling kids to hush, they dont want to hear it, wont even let the child speak.)18-19:Last school year: I have a child who attends this school and it was the best last minute decision we ever made! The school we were assigned for our area was not adiquite to handle our child. The lacked in resources, classrooms were over stuffed and the staff truly seemed to not care. We quickly began researching and viewinf our options as it was too late to sign up for a charter or magnet school or so we thought. We kept seeing the AD for NGA and we just took a leap and signed our little one up. It was a little rough at first but our issues were quickly addressed and problems solved. The teachers we have this year have wonderful communication skills along with apps set up to communicate with parents. The staff is very understanding and have amazing relationships with the students of the school. Its like a small community where everyone knows everyone.
