AHA is hands down the best place on earth. I have been a student here for the past two years and I have grown so much as a student, an individual and a leader. I have discovered myself at AHA, and I have met my best friends in the world here. This school is full of amazing people who support you, and they have become my second family. I am forever grateful for this place and this community.

THIS SCHOOL CLOSED UNEXPECTEDLY ON 6/11/19 DUE TO FINANCIAL DIFFICULTIES.This school is simply amazing. Our son just finished his freshman year, and our daughter is set to follow in his footsteps in the fall. I have been impressed by the academic rigor, but also the emphasis on upholding high moral standards, learning to live on a campus setting, forging meaningful friendship, athletic outlets, and focus on Jewish values. I highly recommend this school for those wishing to give their children a high school experience like no other.

As a former student, please do not send your child here.

Put simply, this school is a disgrace. The leadership, the funding, the vision - all are appalling. Anyone associated with AHA prior to its hostile and quite brash takeover knows that this is not the place that hundreds of kids called home for eighteen - count em - eighteen years. It is but a mockery; an illusion; a strike to the groin. If you are a parent planning to send a child here, I implore you to reconsider - your child deserves better.

American Hebrew Academy was an amazing school. It hurts my heart that the school was closed suddenly without any notice to staff, teachers, parents and students, leaving everyone desperate without work or school.A new school will begin at the former AHA campus, but it is a completely different school that no one knows how it will be like, because the only things that remained the same are the installations and the CEO. The former AHA staff and teachers that made ALL the difference are no more. I don’t mean harm to anyone, but all comments to the former AHA school do not apply to the new AHA Internacional School. So new students and parents cannot be fooled and think the new AHA International School will be in any way like all was said about the former AHA.

AHA closed suddenly and without warning in June of 2019 leaving students, faculty, and staff scrambling for new schools and jobs. Sadly the same CEO is still at the helm. Don’t trust AHA International. The promo video is material from two years ago and does not represent the current farce of a school.

To whom it may concern,AHA is an amazing school with excellent teachers whom strive to encourage learning, which ultimately gives every student the tools needed for success. My son attended AHA and graduated last year. The decision to send our son to a boarding school was difficult, however it was the best investment in his education that my husband and I could have made. The teaching professionals instilled the love of learning in my son, which gave him the confident and desire to continue his education. The strict rules and security measures helped us; feel secure that he was in good hands 24 hours a day. The insulations, dorms, house parents, and daily food preparations were exceptional. If my husband and I had known about the benefits of sending our son to AHA, the only Jewish boarding school in the world, we would have sent him earlier. I would strongly encourage any parent interested in giving his or her child the best high school education, to take the time to apply to the American Hebrew Academy. I am certain you will not be sorry.Sincerely,Gloria Stanley

Glenn Drews next corvette and three-piece-suit fund. For references: ask any staff, faculty, or student from the American Hebrew Academy - the school this used to be. Before he closed it without warning, leaving everyone to find new jobs, only to reopen it weeks later. This is NOT AHA. @Glenn, whered ur facebook profile go man? It was active before this school started...really miss chatting :*

To who ever wants to read this:I have never though that a school could become my home until I came to AHA. Everyone on Campus is incredibly welcoming and accepting. I came from a place that it looked the same for me, everyone was the exact same person, at least thats how I saw it. AHA has made high school a place that I want to spend longer and work as hard as I can. I never thought I could get the opportunities of studying and maybe getting into the college I have always dreamed of. If you are thinking of applying, please do it or at least consider it. Give yourself or someone you know the opportunity to grow, whether is socially or maybe just to strength or improve knowledge. AHA is a home, the students create unbreakable bonds that are guaranteed to last. AHA deserves your time and effort. Thanks for reading, hope it helped!

This school was closed with no notice to the students and teachers. It is now trying to play off its old reputation in opening as a new school. I would never trust this school with my children after the way they acted.

There is truly something special about AHA. Watching our child grow independent, confident and to do it surrounded by Jewish students from around the globe has been amazing.

I dont agree with the statement about school only cater to rich people. More than 50% of kids (including my daughter) are receiving financial assistance from school and pay less than a half of school tuition. School work with people of any financial situation. THey can offer you financial assistance, a monthly payments plan, connect you with different lenders to get a loan, etc. NOthing is free in this world, and great education is not different. If you wasnt able to work it out with school your financial situation-there is no fair to give this great school a bad review. Teachers a great, kids are wonderful, experience is unforgettable. I am glad my daughter was able to get in and I am sure she will be well prepare for college after graduation from this school

The American Hebrew Academy does not exist anymore. The new AHA International School is not the same. The people in charge are awful and have continued to treat the former students badly. Do not go to this school. Do not send your kids here.
