This place was the first place anyone ever bothered to be civil to me. This is, however, a review of the school itself, and not the fellow students I went here with ( I love you all, if it needed to be said). They stifle creativity, and still demand that gifted students dumb themselves down to conform to arbitrary standards from the clueless school district they are unfortunately based in. Most of the administrators here, at least when I went here, HATED the creativity in this place, despite it existing for that sole purpose. I guess it made their jobs marginally harder. Teachers were another story, they were awesome and better than youre gonna find in most normal schools.

I am a freshman here and I absolutely love it here. My one problem is that the dress code enforces some of the wrong things. Some teachers feel very strong towards girls shoulders, which is very frustrating for obvious reasons. Dress code is my only issue. They are to lenient towards some things regarding dress code, and to strict of others, there needs to be a balance.

Don’t go here if you want to go to an actual art school to express yourself and not a place that only prioritizes student’s grades and a ‘#1 in the state’ award. go to penn.

Absolutely fantastic. In reference to the dress code matter, the rules are definitely more slack, but for new comers, the previous principal has moved on to a different school so things may change. Also the famous Bio teacher is scary and annoyingBut I sincerely enjoyed my time there. I was melded into a family of diverse and extremely accepting students and even some faculty. Everything is so free flowing and, at least for my pva, the upperclassmen were so great. I really enjoyed my time and I wish I could finish off my high school career there

Best high School Ive ever been to, the teachers are nice, and very helpful. The design of school is also well, and easy to find classrooms. Im sure going to miss going here, everytime i think about my high school days, my Weaver days are going to be the first to come to mind. Class 2018.

I went to school here my Junior and Senior year (2013-2015) as a full time CTE student. The school is great regarding courses and the campus. The only negative experience I had was that some PVA faculty and PVA students had nasty attitudes or talked bad about CTE students. I’m not sure why there was a hierarchy established as we were all there to get our high school education, be it PVA or CTE courses. Other than that, great school.

I wish zoning for Weaver didnt exist because I feel that Weaver produces more successful students compared to Penn-Griffin, and I cant attend it because of where I live.

Love the school! Hate the dress code. The dress code is completely unreasonable. My friend got in trouble for wearing a shirt that had her shoulders showing. Everything was covered up except her shoulders. This is ridiculous and needs to be changed. I understand that we need a dress code but this is just unreasonable.

The talented Weaver students can always be counted on to give great performances at a bargain price. Dont miss a show if you can help it!

While I enjoy being a student here, I find the dress code ridiculous and the lack of queer sex education frustrating. There have been teachers and students who disrespect my gender identity and little to nothing was done to stop it.
