I remember when I first came to US Taekwondo College in 2017. It was tough, but an amazing experience.I hope to become a master in the many more years to come. Itll take a lot of work, but its worth it. Im also glad I met Master Kim. He sure knows what hes doing when he teaches. I couldnt ask for or have a better intructor than him. Im grateful for the experience I have so far. I want to continue it.

Grand Master Kim is an amazing TKD Teacher, who has been teaching in Fairfax County since 1992. My kids have been in the TKD College with Master Kim for over a year. He is patient but firm, and a true leader to whom the children really listen. Grand Master Kim is the highest-level Dan in the county, and frequently takes winners to State Championships.US TKD College just moved to a new location at Woodland Park Crossing, which I really like. I drop the kids in their capable hands, and head downstairs to the Grocery store. You could head to one of the restaurants for an easy dinner, get a touch-up on your manicure (classes are 45 min.)... lots of options in this thriving shopping center. They also have Child Care programs, and host Summer Camps. Of course the kids love it if you stay to watch, and certainly its comfy in the chairs provided in the viewing area.But the best reason to join Master Kims College is his teaching, his rapport with the students, his command of the room, all earned from his years of experience. Hes one of the best teachers my boys have had, and though my two *probably* arent future champions like Master Kims sons, they are learning balance (body and mind), movement, exercise, and how to block a punch. All valuable lessons.Prices are comparable to similar lesson types.

My son was interested in joining martial arts. My first stop was at US Taekwondo College in Herndon. Upon meeting Master Kim we were very impressed by his teachings. His way of teaching mixes fun and humor, yet still demands focus and attention. He takes pride in understating each child and treats them as an individual. He never make the class boring and there isnt a dull moment. The classes are very well structured and disciplined. I never had to look for another program. In fact within a month I joined my daughter. They both look forward to attend the class.

I have been with Master Kim for over 10 years now and I truly do not know where I would be without him. When I started Taekwondo with Master Kim I was about 9 years old and had just moved to Virginia. I had a hard time making friends and I was very unathletic. Through Master Kim I was able to learn self-discipline, social skills, and how to respect others. Even today, as an 18 year old, I am constantly approached by many adults and told about how mature I am for my age. I am eternally grateful for having such a great mentor in my life that I can always look up to. Master Kim isn’t just a coach for Taekwondo, he is a coach for life. And I can guarantee you that you will never find a better Master/coach in the country other than Master Kim.

Master Kim is not a good Taekwondo Master, he is the best! The way he teaches is efficient. Master Kim also has a good sense of humor and makes class interesting! My sister and I enjoy coming to class! I cant wait for the next class!

I started Taekwondo with Master Kim when I was 5 years old and still practice in his school, 21 years later. I know my parents appreciated how patient Master Kim was with me when I fist set foot in the Chantilly location. It may not be easy to convince a 5 year old to embrace Taekwondos emphasis on a still mind, but Master Kim did it. Even when I moved from the area, I came back frequently to say hello and attend as many classes as I could.Master Kim and his sons make Taekwondo more than a sport; to them, it is a way of life. They instill this sense of pride, discipline, and dedication in every student. In turn, their students are smart, strong athletes -- a trait that will stay with these students for life.

My kids and I are extremely glad to attend Master kims US Taekwondo college. He is very patient with kids, have a great sense of humor as well as teaches kids great values. My children attended Spring break and are still going to his Art martial class for over a year now. We couldnt be happier that we found this amazing and affordable place.Highly recommender for parent who are looking for a fun, dedicated, safe and friendly Art martial college.

My 3 children started taking TKD lessons 3 years ago. Their school closed down unexpectedly and we were left to explore other options so that they could continue their study of martial arts. We visited with 3 nearby schools and participated in trial classes at 2 of these. US Tae Kwon Do College impressed us from the start. The facility was immaculate, the students respectful, the teaching professional. We found Master Kim to possess a genuine and natural way with his students He blended moral teaching, character development, humor and kindness with knowledge and technique. He quickly learned every childs name and created a personable relationship with each family entering his doors. Though my childrens original TKD school closed which left them feeling disappointed, this proved to be a blessing in disguise. I cannot imagine a better fit for my children than US Tae Kwon Do College. It has challenged my children physically and encouraged them morally. They have a great affinity for Master Kim and his wife, Mrs. Kim. To anyone who may visit, you wont be disappointed!

This place is not safe for after school and summer camp though the classes are good.

This past summer Master Kim and Mrs. Kim have been a blessing to our family. Our daughter has been going to their summer program since the summer has begun and each and every day she tells us how much fun she has had, the many activities they do throughout the day, and most importantly how well she is treated and care for by all of the Instructors and the Kims. Before putting our daughter in the summer program, we debated putting her in other summer programs however we could have not been more happier with the service that Master Kim and his instructors provide. I know for a fact that my daughters well being and happiness are top priority at US Tae Kwon Do college summer program. If you are looking for Top Quality Tae Kwon Do instruction, Top Quality instructors, and your children being the main concern look no further than US Tae Kwon Do College-Herndon!

My family and I are extremely grateful of Master Kim and his instructors here at US Tae Kwon Do college. My daughter and husband have both attended this TKD dogo for the past year and we are extremely happy with the results. It is truly evident that Master Kim and his instructors care about each and every student at this school. They take a great deal of time out with each and every student to make sure that they are enjoying TKD but also making sure that each student takes back the core beliefs and values of Tae Kwon Do. Just recently I have also started TKD along with my husband and daughter, and I must say that I Thoroughly enjoy the learning experience and getting in shape. US Tae Kwon Do Colleges in the area and one of the best places to learn the art of TKD.
