This is more of a daytime juvenile detention center than a school. Students and their families are expected to conform to any demand from staff members. And the rules are constantly changing. One of their favorite phrases are, you will comply. If your child suffers from mental health issues, dont allow them to be sent here. It will make matters worse. The school will not work with your family or outside resources to help your child succeed. Students are searched and wanded each morning. Law enforcement is called to the school constantly. It is anything but a safe and nurturing environment. Students fall even further behind academically and most just give up and drop out.

Contrary to *most* reviews of this place, its actually a fairly supportive and small community, where the staff tries their best to accommodate everyone. Your child needs mental support or a smaller school environment, I think this would be a great place for that.

A few good teachers, but overall feels like a mental hospitali forgot i posted this, but all the teachers can smd goodnight.

Word of advice: if youre looking for a safe and supportive school to put your troublesome, troubled, or disabled child in, look somewhere else. This school does not offer much on the education side of things, and prefers security over privacy in some areas. Most students are not changed or improved at least by this place. Do not consider this school as an option for your child.

This school has impacted my physical, emotional, and mental health. Most the students here are very toxic. Once or twice a month they have the police come in and arrest students for what they are doing. Most of the students here cause a lot of drama, some of the teachers are narcistic here, and they pick favorites here. I was their favorite at one point until my parents tried to get me out because of how bad my depression increased because of there, then they wouldnt let me go. If you want to see what really happens at PCA, I suggest seeing it for yourselves. It will give you more detail on whats going on over there. Please dont send your child to this school, it will affect their health.
