MY SON WENT TO THIS DAYCARE FOR ONE MONTH AND IT WAS THE WORST DAYCARE THAT I HAVE EVER GONE TO. MY SON WAS BULLIED BY OLDER KIDS IN HIS CLASS AND THE TEACHERS MADE UP INCIDENT REPORTS ABOUT MY SON THAT WAS CONFLICTING WITH WHAT HE TOLD ME. THE TEACHERS MADE HIM SIT AND EAT ALONE WHEN HE WOULD TELL THEM OF KIDS THAT WERE PICKING ON HIM. I TALKED TO HIS TEACHER, AND SHE SAID THE KIDS HAVE THEIR OWN CLICKS AND THAT THE KIDS ARENT USED TO NEW KIDS. ONE DAY MY SON CAME HOME WITH BRUISES TO HIS ARMS AND LEGS. WHEN I TOLD THE DIRECTOR SHE WAS RUDE, AND IRRATIONAL. SHE KEPT MAKING UP LIES ABOUT ME BEING CONFRONTATIONAL WITH STAFF AND OTHER PARENTS. SHE STATED SO MANY UNTRUE THINGS ABOUT ME AND MY SON. AT THIS POINT I STOPPED EXPLAINING MYSELF AND I REALIZED THAT IF SHE WOULD MAKE UP LIES ABOUT ME AND MY SON SHE WOULD DEFINITELY COVER UP CHILD ABUSE OF HER EMPLOYEES. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. BE CAREFUL DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE. THESE PEOPLE WORK HARD DISGUISE CHILD ABUSE.

Dropping your kids off in daycare is hard... the staff at the Y make it so much easier. I recently put my 12 week old baby girl into the infant class, and I was impressed with how much the infant class staff wanted to work with me to make me happy with the care of my baby. They are very flexible. They also love the kids - Miss Chrissys motto is You cant spoil a baby, only love them. There are always difficulties handing the care of your child over to someone else, at the Y they will help you with them.My 3 year old has been coming to the center for over a year and is now in the preschool. I am very impressed by the amount of learning that goes on - it seems every week has a new art project, and every day a new song. He loves it so much, he often asks to go on the weekend (!) His teacher is very caring.Although this is not the most fancy / frilly daycare, the staff are caring, and want to keep you happy. They will become like family. I know a lot of fellow nurses and pediatricians who drop their kids here. My kids are happy - that is the most important thing.

My son was repeatedly berated and injured from the time I trusted this daycare to protect him last July. I received verbal notification of the injuries that my child received but no incident report. However, I was contacted on occasion if he caused an incident. I have always had a pleasant experience with the YMCA of Arlington and Fort Worth, TX. However, the experience that I have received since moving here is more than disappointing. In addition to being threatened with being dropped monthly due to miscommunication between staff and the central office, the director threatened to call CPS when they were forced to close due to the water main break and no one was there at the time they told us they would be closing. All in all this location does not reflect the core values of the YMCA. I got the impression that low income single parent households are not valued members of the YMCA. This facility is all around unprofessional and ill equipped to represent the YMCA.

Lack of communication & professionalism. the miscommunication at this child care was ridiculous. Some staff are hardworking & talk to you about your childs day & others dont care about your childs wellbeing. My daughter attended this preschool& her teachers wouldnt write accident reports when she would have a bruise.

My daughter has been in love since the 1st day! They teach well and assist in potty training! My daughter came home with new knowledge everyday. I can pop up with no issues to check on her.

My 2 year old goes the daycare at this Y , and really like the way they take care of the kids, the programs , the teachers, all staff are really good. They know each child by their name and when I drop my son off or pick him, I can notice that he had a good time. He learned so much in only 6 months. I feel like he is at home and the Y staff are part of our family. Other thing, they have a very good facility with a lot of space, so kids can play, run comfortably. Thank you so much Y.

I switched to this center after a bad experience at another center and couldn’t be happier. The infant teachers really care for your little ones and are passionate about what they do. They were great with me as a nervous first time mom and they made my transition back to work a-lot easier. I would highly recommend this YMCA location.

I am a parent who’s kids go here for after school. I found a one year old outside in the parking lot. Needlessly to say that they need to make changes. The turn over is also very high. I cannot keep up with the new faces. Also they have a high teacher to child ratio.
