I absolutely love Hoyland Elementary! I appreciate the fact that they are clearly meticulous in their hiring process; my son has been going to Hoyland since he was in Pre-K and he has yet to have a bad teacher or a bad experience with anyone at the school. Unfortunately at the end of this year we will be moving to another city and I can only hope that I happen upon another school that is a good as Hoyland because they have definitely set the bar extremely high!

By far the worst school my kids ever attended. The front desk lady is the most rude unprofessional person I met in my life. She ALWAYS giving out the wrong information and has to have an attitude EVERYTIME you ask her something. I never heard of a school having u set an appt just to register your child. They ALWAYS send IMPORTANT info home the day of or after events has happened.. Can’t wait till the school your ends. My kids will never see this place again

New to Texas and New to the School Systems here....I moved here from Little Rock Arkansas in June of last year and my son started his first weeks at another school but, when the school received his information and found out he was Autistic; the school immediately transferred him to this school. The very first day I got my sons information transfer it was HORRIBLE!!!! My son was stereo typed and the issue with the incident that happened with the cop that shot an unarmed boy in Missouri was brought up in my face in regards to; my child....I was hurt and disappointed with this school since day one. To top that off; here it is almost then end of the school year and I find out not by his reading or math teacher that he was failing the subjects but, his AB teacher. No one has communicated with me since then. My son is not only singled out but, he is bullied by the other students. I hate the day my son ever attended this school and I cant wait until school is over.

I think hoyland is a bad school for my son he has been bullied and getting into fights alot of times!......Jesus!

Horrible and rude office staff. Had a pass for car driver , They had my son lost for 30 min with walkers. The staff is so rude in the office .They are VERY unprofessional and not friendly.

The school change the early release policy this year and did not inform parents. Its not on their website not was a notice posted. Very inconvenient for parents who Mau have a last minute emergency and to pickup kids up early from school. Lack of communication.
