Absolutely love and adore this school and its wonderful staff. We feel the school is setting our son up for future success after preschool (he has been a student since he was about 16 months old). We have been so happy here and highly recommend!

Kipling St., Academy is a great school !! Our son absolutely loves his teachers, Mayra and Kristen, and so do we. He’s made tremendous progress in the short time he’s been there. We couldn’t be happier with the quality education and attention our son receives every day. I would highly recommend this school.

Both of my boys have had wonderful experiences here. Excellent teachers and staff. Love that we can check in via camera. Wait list is long but worth it. The school is a gem and I am always confident that my children are well cared for and happy.

We had a great experience at the Kipling Street Academy. Incredible teachers, clean school and wonderful families. I feel that rating the school a 1 based on the fact that youre waitlisted and didnt get in isnt really fair. It certainly is a fair watch out for the school to know, but it would seem more important to give feedback on the school itself. When you get into applying to private schools, youll likely have your fair share of schools that youll give a deposit to and unfortunately wont see the money back.

This program will ask for money and tell you they will make a space for your children, will give you at least a year, we are now going into our second year and they never even followed up with us not with one email or one phone call. I signed up a one year old and a half and for a fetus that now she is 9 months old! Just be aware we liked this place only because is close to home but I rather have my babies at home not surrounded by hustlers.

Our son attended Kipling Street Academy from the ages of 14 months to 2 years. We absolutely loved our experience. We only changed care providers because we moved and even then we kept him at Kipling as long as we could. Our teachers were qualified, caring and created a rich learning environment for our son. While attending Kipling, his language exploded. At 2, he’s able to repeat and understand almost any simple word and construct short sentences. He can count independently to 8. He learned some ASL (which is so useful when communicating with young children) and Spanish. Kipling even assisted with initiating potty training! Our son has great focus when completing tasks. We are just amazed by our son’s development at just 2 years old and know that we have his time at Kipling to thank for that. The school has reasonable and well communicated policies. Food provided by the school was approachable, interesting and nutritious. Administration was accommodating and assisted with delivering medications when that was necessary. Can say enough good things about KSA! Wish we could have attended for longer. Thank you for nurturing our little!

I only regret I didnt take my son out of this school sooner. Impressed by the new, clean-looking facility and credentialed teachers, I failed to see for too long what a horrible place this really was for my toddler son. He attended Kipling for almost a year and cried nearly every day I dropped him off. When I picked him up, he was almost always extremely thirsty and hungry (and no wonder given the microscopic portion sizes of the food). If I didnt have food and water for him in the car for the ride home, hed have a complete meltdown. During the extreme heat of summer, even on ozone days, Kipling continued to put all the kids outside in the afternoon, presumably to reduce the number of teachers needed to satisfy state regs. So, often, Id pick my son up and hed be so red I was worried he was going to pass out from heat exhaustion; over the redness was frequently an inch of white sunscreen, clearly the teachers futile effort to cover up how overheated the kids were. The teachers, while a pleasant group, were a continuously rotating cast of characters. I stopped introducing myself to them because change was so constant; no point in knowing the name of a teacher whod be gone or moved to another classroom in a week anyway. At Kipling, my son was constantly, constantly sick. I had to find backup childcare on at least a bi-weekly basis --- so in addition to Kiplings $1050/mo tuition, I spent thousands of dollars on sitters and backup nannies. It was a nightmare constantly having to figure out how to manage my professional obligations and deal with such uncertain childcare. Everyone told me that kids are constantly sick in daycare and that he must be crying everyday because hes just a sensitive kid. Really, Kipling does a terrible job of illness control and sanitation, and he was just miserable - hungry, thirsty, constantly adjusting to strangers as teachers, sick, overheated, and too often combined with large groups of children. I finally took the leap and put him in another daycare, and wow what a change!! Within a week, he no longer cried when I dropped him off and instead runs toward his teacher and other kids, came home saying he loves his teachers and his friends. Hes never sick - clearly, the much lower tuition daycare he now attends actually puts money toward a janitorial service and other basic disease-prevention practices. The director at his new school knows the name of every child and is hands-on in every aspect of the school; the director at Kipling, Jennifer, doesnt have a clue and doesnt care. The only time she bothered to speak to me was when I gave notice that my child was de-enrolling, and only then so that she could try to extort another 30 days tuition per some policy of hers. In retrospect it should have been obvious that a woman who pretends to manage a school dolled up in designer clothes and 5-inch heals probably isnt doing much with the kids. And it should have been obvious that a daycare director that drives a maserati isnt motivated to run a school because of the children; its about the profit. I suspect theres plenty of money to be eked out of dual-income professional parents who desperately want to believe they are putting their children in the best possible school, and if youre looking for someone to prey on that desperation, then Jennifers got your number. I would have spared my son and our family much heartache if I had seen through the charade earlier; Im just glad that I finally listened to my instincts and took him out of Kipling. Now that he is attending a loving school where he is developing beautifully and is healthy and happy, the whole family is happier and my husband and I can attend to our work lives during the day in peace.
