We have very much enjoyed our time here at Smaller Scholars. The teachers and staff are very knowledgable in early childhood education. The school itself is small, which we liked. It is an extremely diverse group of kids and families which was important to us. They have handled the Covid procedures very well I think. I can recommend this school.

My 2 and 4 year old love this school so much. I have no problem telling them Sunday night that they are going to school tomorrow. They actually want to go to school! The best part of all is the teachers and staffs at this location. You can tell the teachers take pride in their profession. The teacher assistants are sweet and really know my children. Administrative staffs are so quick to response, super nice, and helpful. We started this school during covid but I never felt disconnected. I’m glad I found them. I would recommend to any friends and families all day long!

I actually attended this same school throughout pre-k and kindergarten, and I still have very fond memories of this school to this day! I am now a sophomore in high school, and wish nothing more than to be back at the Montessori learning how to correctly spell phone. Because of that school, and my parents, I feel as though it really shaped as a person. I very much recommend this school to anyone and everyone. Stay safe and live a wonderful and healthy life :)

We like the school very much. Our Son is progressing well in their program and the teachers are kind and competent.

We have researched a lot of day cares, Montessori schools, child care center etc. all around Houston before we enrolled our son. We found out about this school through a friend’s recommendation. One of the few reasons why we moved to the area was due to this school. We never had any regrets. Our son attended the toddler class and is now in the primary class. We recently enrolled our daughter to the toddler class as well. We were so amazed on the progress of our kids. Friends and family cant help commenting how they both have evolved. The teaching, assisting, admin and Director staff are the best. During the pandemic and schools were allowed to reopen, we never hesitated to bring back our kids coz we know the teachers care and will do all their best to keep the kids safe. Thankful that we found this school and get to know all the teaching and admin staff. I highly recommend!

We have our little one going to Smaller Schools and we couldnt have made a better decision. Our little one is so happy when shes going to school and sometimes doesnt even want to leave for home. The teachers are so professional and friendly; the director is also very approachable and always ready to chat.

We have had 2 children go to Smaller Scholars and plan on sending the 3rd when she is old enough. The teachers are professional, knowledgeable, and effective educators. The staff is helpful and friendly. The director is easy to reach, talk to, and communicates well with the parents. We love this school!

I have four-year-old and two-year-old boys going here and they both took it really hard detaching from “mommy” when they started, but love it here now and are thriving. They’ve both learned so much in their respective classes and it’s so nice to see how much they like their teachers and look forward to going each day. It really shows the high caliber of care and work these teachers put into what they do each day.

Our son (almost 4) is going to Smaller Scholars from when he was 18 months old. We planned to send his little brother there as well, however we are leaving Houston. The school has only 4 class rooms. All the lead teachers have been there for a long time. Due to the small size all the teachers know the names of all the kids. The school is very diverse and international, which is a lot of fun and a plus for the kids education. It is a safe and positive learning environment. The communication is great and I trust all the teachers more than 100%. In addition the lunch is awesome (only non-processed foods).

Sending my son to small scholar is the best decision we have made since moved to Houston. He surprises us frequently with new knowledge and continuous growth at all aspects. The three lead teachers are the best child care montessori teacher I have ever seen. The only recommendations to the school would be improvement and upgrade on the infrastructures.

Absolutely love this school! We have both of our boys here and they are thriving. Our family has been here for 2 1/2 years. The teachers are all Montessori certified and have college degrees. The education is stellar and in a loving and nurturing environment.

My eldest daughter went to Smaller Scholars back in 2016 through 2018 and later moved on to public school but after only 3 months of starting Smaller Scholars, she went from not being able to read to reading!!! Smaller Scholars and specifically, Mrs. Diana, helped kick-start her academically and emotionally. You know how they say it takes a village to raise a child?...well, Smaller Scholars is our village. When I became pregnant with my 2nd daughter, I knew that once she hit 18 months that Id enroll her. She is now, 2.5 years old and has the same amazing teachers my eldest had. I love that we have history at this school. I almost feel like my husband and I are legacy parents to a point. All the teachers are wonderful. My youngest had Ms. Verna for her first year and we still visit her on our way to her current class (older kids). I trust all the teachers here 100%. For me as a parent, trust is #1 and communication is #2. I know if there are any concerns, either from me or from them, it is discussed immediately. The director, Ms. Meri is amazing. She makes sure her school and team are supported. I can see that. The best thing is is this group as whole, supports each other. I know I can go to any teacher here and theyll help me with whatever I need. This team is really the team I want helping me raise my children. I cant imagine them attending any other school.

Excellent school. I have my two kids studying there at the moment. The teachers are very friendly, the classes are clean and my kids have been enjoying going to the school. I would highly recommend this place!

My son started to go to small scholars almost two years ago. He loves his school. Even on Sunday he wants to go to school. Teachers, Front desk staff are best. Director of school Ms Meri is amazing. She is very helpful and understand parents concerns and try to resolve it. Two weeks ago my daughter started to go to small scholars in toddler class and even she loves it too. The only thing I would say they should introduce breakfast just like hot lunch. Its difficult for working parents to feed kids early in the morning and drop them to school. Otherwise my kids love small scholars.

I am amazed at this school and wish we had found it sooner. This is a true Montessori and the educational experience has been exemplary. My son has has grown tremendously in his first year (Pre-K) and I am thankful for the teachers and staff that believe in molding lifetime learners and leaders.

Our son has been a student at Smaller Scholars for the past 3 years. Being a 5year old with brain cancer, everything becomes an obstacle in his battle. The Educators and staff do a wonderful job catering to his individual needs and helping him progress. They truly care for my son, and that to me is the best things about the school. Every day he comes home with something new he learned and he looks forward to each day when we leave the house in the morning.
