We have absolutely loved having our child at CCY. She started when she was 12 weeks old, it was so hard to leave her but the teachers were amazing and so comforting! They send pictures/videos/messages throughout the day and keep you updated. They do fun dress up days and events often. It has been an amazing first daycare experience! The team is the best, they are so supportive and loving to the children! We wouldnt have it any other way!

I use to love this place for my daughter. She was transferred to this location after Harvey, so yes she has been there a while. However they were without a director(as normal, they go through directors and teachers like it is going out of style). So the regional director at the time handled me as a parent wrong. There was a previous bill prior to my daughter leaving for the summer (which she has done every summer since attending with them). However I was advised about the balance and was told all in one day that I needed to pick her up from school until this balance was taken care of. I was advised that If I didnt pick her up they would proceed to call CPS. Now I never recieved any notifications about a past due balance before hearing about it 2months after my daughter returned home. I was in complete shock and disbelief, as I had never heard of such a thing and the staff that has been there since my daughter started there knows if there is a balance due it will be paid. However no notice was ever given to me other than the one after I dropped her off.The fact that they switch staff so often is a red flag, but I wont allow anyone to handle me as if I dont pay 200+ dollars a week. Ive withdrawn my daughter from this facility and they should be ashamed at their employees action.

Our experience at Childrens courtyard of Copperfield has been great so far! My daughter has been attending for three months, and is currently in the infant 2 class room. We love Ms. Samantha she is FANTASTIC with all of the children; Ms. Dora and Ms Marry are great as well! My daughter seems to have a great time at daycare, and has progressed developmentally very quickly since attending! I love that they have cameras, and the bright wheel app so I can check in at any time! We are able to communicate with the teachers directly through the app, and are able to receive updates, pictures, and videos throughout the day! They also allow and welcome me to drop in at any time.. I usually come during my lunch break to spend time with my child. I would recommenced Childrens courtyard of Copperfield if you are looking for a caring/learning environment.

We think of ourselves as very fortunate to have found the children’s courtyard on Longenbaugh. My daughter started attending when she was 9 weeks old. We recently moved and we miss the love and support she always received at the children’s courtyard. The manager- Kim is phenomenal. She is available, approachable and interacts beautifully with the children. If I ever had any concerns I would go directly to her and I was confident she took our talks to heart. Ms Selma in the infant class is so good with the babies. Then they move up to ms Samantha’s class and let me tell you- you’ll never find a daycare teacher more loving than Ms. Samantha. My daughter left there at 16 months and new her body parts from her shoulders up and was working on counting to 5. They do a great job with the curriculum. I can’t give them a high enough review. We miss the children’s courtyard on logenbaugh- y’all set the bar very high.

We just had to pull our kids out since we moved an hour away. Otherwise we wouldn’t have left. All three of our kids have gone since 12 weeks of age, and the oldest just started kindergarten so been there for awhile. They learned a lot there and loved going to “school”. The only problems we had were with random late payment charges when autopay wouldn’t run for some reason, and issues getting those taken off. It is a great school and most of the teachers are really nice. I like that they send throughout the day reports on brightwheel and you can watch the classroom on WatchMeGrow. Would definitely recommend!

Childrens Courtyard has been an ease to my troubled heart! There is nothing in the world more precious to you than your children. The hardest thing to do as a working mom is to drop your babies in daycare and worry if they are going to be okay. The childrens courtyards loving staff makes that worry go away. You can feel the genuine love and care from the staff and the director of this place. My children who are used to crying and falling to the floor when I drop them off at other places are now waving by to me and blowing me kisses. I love this place their curriculum is great I am amazed at the pictures and updates that I get throughout the day. Overall a very warm and happy environment.

Looks nice from the outside but save your time and money. Enrolled my daughter here and she was bullied, after telling her teacher nothing was done about it. They would keep the class outside for an unreasonable amount of time andClaims they do activities and the kids can play in the science room but my daughter was never able to play there the week she was enrolled. After talking to a few parents here they had a few of the same complaints.Very disappointed and will not be back.

The teachers are generally good although I did catch one of them treating one of the children a little roughly at one point. She saw me watching her and knew shed done something wrong. I should mention that was one moment out of 4 years experience with this place, so probably just a slip of patience on her part. You never can tell whats happening at other times though. The administration is a shambles. It is not a friendly system at all. The pricing structure is opaque and there is no flexibility on payment. Overpayment, of course, will take weeks or months to be returned to you. But if you under-pay, even by a dollar, they will slap a penalty on you as fast as they can. I cant change it, its the system is the typical response.Gets three stars because most child-care places are worse. So I guess theres that.

Would give this place 0 stars if it were at all possible. No bueno. Terrible location. I can’t stand for what they propose to the community of the children. I’ve literally witnessed a teacher HIT a PARENT... sickening. Took my children out the next day. If a teacher can hit a parent and STAY A TEACHER THERE (Sherin K.), what makes you think your child is safe?Terrible. Do not bring your children here.

Fell in love when we visited it, and I know we made the right decision. My daughter loves her school and her friends. She has made leaps and bounds and I can not wait for her to begin her Kindergarten instruction in a few weeks! Highly, highly recommend!

I’m so disappointed at the way this daycare is managed. My kids started about 3 years ago and it has been a rocky roller coaster. The only reason we last for so long is because I built relationships with some of the staff and was able to get their support. Long story short. My children was verbal abuses several times by Mrs. Sherin K. and every time I addressed it with the directors, I was always told things like “that’s just how she is” and “she don’t mean no harm, it’s her culture”. Whatever that suppose to mean. Since when having good service and being respectful depends on your culture. This last incident she called my daughter, “a nasty disgusting little girl”. After admitting to saying this she still was rude and yelled in my face and push me. I decided to escalate this situation with higher authority (Kim G) and it ended up getting my kids kicked out. Which was so horrible. Not only I was left having to explain to my 4 year old, that she’s not all the nasty things Mrs.Sherin has called her but my poor baby thought she was put out of the school because she was a nasty little girl. Hearing my daughter say that literally broke my heart. I don’t understand why the other teachers and parents act as if their scared to speak up for the kids. I personally have heard majority of the staff and several parents speak on what Mrs. Sherin has done or said mean to the kids but she is still there. Please save your babies the pain. To know that they allow teachers like this to continue working with children, they should not be in business.

My son has been at CC since he was 3 months old. Now 14 months we are moving to Kingwood and Im sad to leave. The Infant teachers are great and highly experienced (15+ years). The director is especially helpful and will always make time for questions or comments. My son teaches us sign language that he learned at school! at 12 months old! I highly recommend Childrens Courtyard.
