Make sure you read your contract ! You’re told you can cancel anytime and it’s not true . The communication is terrible . You have to email another person Gonzalo Cabrera that isn’t even working at location . Someone who doesn’t have any medical degree to tell me . I couldn’t cancel the contract because my son had prior disabilities! Followed all the “instructions “ to cancel the contract and if it wasn’t for the young lady Mrs. F I wouldn’t have known anything because she communicated. I honestly was so excited about signing my child up because he had missed so much from the pandemic . I signed him up to help more with his social skills , speech . Felt like a total scam !

The business practices of this place is a Scam. First of all they do not disclose upfront the fees associated with membership. You will need to pay >$300 for gear and every couple weeks $60 for your child to test to get a new belt! They tie you into a contract with hidden disclosures. (READ READ READ....dont just sign!) Theres NO flexibility to end contract unless you move! If you have any problems, you cant reach the owner as apparently he/she lives outside the country (According to Ms. Fernada). Even at peek COVID, place crowded and masks not mandated. Its all about bottomline for ATA, zero customer service. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this place to any one

This place is amazing!! Great Instructors and atmosphere, they care about their students and teach very good value life skills.

Our family just joined the Huntersville location 2 weeks ago and have had a very pleasant experience so far. The process started with an interview with my kids (ages 9 and 15) to see if they would like it. They enjoyed the free private class. The instructor shared the schedule and hours of operation along with their expectations. He was VERY CLEAR in saying that this would take time and he CLEARLY asked if we wanted to make a commitment. NO ONE FORCED ME TO SIGN ANYTHING!!!! We signed the contract because we were clear about the commitment we were making to this school. Even after signing up I had some additional questions and I havent had to make an appointment. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We are in to stay!!

Mr. Brown is a great teacher. It might get crowded but I still get my work out. My kids love it!!

You should check the contents of the contract carefully. We are deceived by them at the time of contract and are still being paid even though they quit in January. It will not let me close. They will say that you can cancel at any time, but that is a lie. Be careful.

The winners for life team at Huntersville is very interesting and fantastic.I love the school very much.

SCAM - Do not sign. Ro Lawsin is a scam artist. Google his name - hes the owner. They will steal your money and not provide the service promised. Once you sign a contract they send you to collections to ensure they have your $. You will never hear from anyone if you try to leave. Stay away.

The team at ATA Huntersville are awesome. Brace yourself for a life changing experience for you and/or your kids!

Our Experience here was absolutely terrible. Never join its expensive and they make you sign a contract. Even though their classes are extremely poor and crowded they do not care at all. The owner does not return phone calls. He does not care about customer care because once you pay them they have your money. One of the worst business policies that I have ever seen.

I love ATA , my kids are having a blast while they learn how to protect themselves and work on character development skills

Horrible! BUYER BEWARE!I called Mr. Lawson to end the contract due to not being able to make the classes and he informed me he would take care of the situation. Needless to say Mr. Lawson did not take care of the issue. He fails to return calls and does not assist you in any way. All I have to say... IS DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT! When you 1st arrive they ask you if you plan on being in the area for the next 3 yrs.... Thats bc they want you to sign a 3 yr contact.One of the worst business policies that I have ever seen.

Bad place to do Karate! Reminds me the bad guys on Karate Kids movie (Cobra Kai)! They have a catch when you enroll your kid! Dont sign anything with them!
