Julie is an AMAZING educator! First of all, she loves each and every one of her students as if they are her own. She provides enriching activities across her curriculum that meet each and every need of her students - hands on, hands in, body moving, motor skills building, exciting activities that have students working as a class, in small groups, in pairs and independently as needed. Our family is SO happy to have found this wonderful school. We couldnt have asked for anything better!!!

I have had the pleasure of working alongside Julie as a colleague. Julie is a consummate professional, and is a life long learner even pursuing advanced degrees such as national board certification. Julie is very knowledgeable and has strong content knowledge in various academic subjects. Julies test scores and data spoke volumes as many of her students exceeded grade level expectations based on the level of rigor that she provided. If Julie is your childs teacher; consider yourself among the lucky ones because she really excels at reaching and teaching students/children. This is indeed her calling.

Julie Belk is, by far, the best teacher we have worked with. Our daughter barely knew how to hold a pencil when she started Lakeside. After 2 months, she can not only color in the lines confidently but also sound out and spell words.But more importantly than academics, the classroom culture is so loving. The kids are so happy and energized after spending a day with Ms. Julie. Her enthusiasm for learning leaves everyone smiling.

We are so thankful to have found Mrs. Julie and Lakeside Prep. I struggled with the decision to hold my son back from kindergarten this year as he has a late summer birthday. I couldnt be more confident in my decision and that is all because of Mrs. Julie. I can HONESTLY say that my son has learned more in the first month at Lakeside Prep than he did ALL year at his previous preschool. The love and commitment she shows to our children is amazing. I have no doubt that next year we will be ready to tackle KINDERGARTEN!
