Love love love Sunshine House! Being a parent of Two that never sent their oldest to daycare, loving a daycare says a lot. My youngest daughter is very particular and when she first started here I was so nervous but the teachers there made her feel safe and comfortable! Everyone is always friendly! I would most definitely recommend this location to anyone.

We love the sunshine house, I was a hesitant since it was my first daycare but they are truly amazing. The teachers are so nurturing and loving to my son. They are like one big family and Mrs. Rechena the director is very attentive (amazing) and truly loves her job.

Our toddler son recently started at the Sunshine House. We have been very impressed with the caring, kind staff and how theyve helped ease the transition for our family. They seem to truly care about the kids and it has been a great fit for our son so far.

We love Sunshine House! We have been with them for 5 years and are extremely happy with the care they provide for both of our boys. The teachers are very personable and loving and the directors have been fabulous.

I couldn’t ask for nicer people to watch my kids. This is our first year at their Afterschool program and the kids love it! Mr. Erin is the best! I highly recommend this place if you want kind, caring and fun staff.

We have been with this school for over 6 years. Both of our children have attended since they were 4 months. The staff is extremely friendly and caring to our kids needs. We have never been disappointed with choosing the Sunshine House. The day care and the after school program are great. The fact that they stay open till 6:30 is also a huge plus for working parents.

My son has been attending the Sunshine House since he was an infant and I couldnt be more happy with the excellent care he has been given. Hes now 4 and absolutely loves going to school to learn and play with his friends. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming when you walk in and pass their rooms, you can tell they truly care and are always genuine. The leadership has always been very flexible and accommodating when it comes to my hectic work/life schedule. I would definitely recommend this daycare!!

My daughter has only been going to this site for 3 months and so far she loves it. Ms. Rechena is definitely one of her favorite people there. She gets along with the other kids very well. I like how the staff immediately communicate any issues with me and how quickly they get resolved. My daughter is learning far more than she did in other schools and I am really proud of her!! The staff has made it really easy for her to adjust to a new place. Thank you Sunshine House!!

My experience here has been 5-stars from Day 1 which was three long years ago and it continues to feel better and better after each month/year! These are wonderful people that take great care of my son!

Our son has been at the Sunshine House since he was 5 months old and we have had nothing but a positive experience. The staff is amazing and they take great care of him. This center is affordable and our family would highly recommend to anyone!

My child has been attending for almost 2 years and she LOVES going to school every day. The teachers all treat her as if she is theirs and love on her daily. There have been a few minor issues, but as soon as I have addressed them with the staff, they have been corrected. I have recommended this facility to several friends and co-workers!

Our daughter has been at the Sunshine House for 3 years now and we have loved every classroom and teacher she has had since she has been there. Everyone knows my childs name and treats her like their own. I have referred 3 people so far to this daycare and will continue to do so as long as they continue to provide excellent care.If I had a disappointing thing to say it would be that one of the lead teachers, Ms. Sandy in the 5 yrs old class was sent to another location due to needing staff at that location and her presence has been missed by the kids AND the parents. We love the other lead teacher but both of them together made for a GREAT experience in that class. Bring back Ms. Sandy!

Wonderful facility, excellent (well trained) staff. I can honestly say I have a sense of ease when dropping off my child each morning, no worries for this momma who is back to work. The director, Ms. Rechena is great too. Her door is always open! :)

My kids have been going to this location for over 5 years. I have 2 boys there. One is now getting ready to start kindergarten in the fall and the other is in first grade but continues to go there for after school care. We have had an overall positive experience here, especially since Rechena Adams started as director a few years ago. Since she started there has been low teacher turnover. I have been satisfied with the infant and toddler care. When my older son started elementary school he was ready socially and academically, which I attribute to the great Pre-K and T-K teachers.

Love this place! My 2.5 yr old daughter has been going there for about a year and a half now and she is always happy to walk into her classroom. When she walks down the halls all the teachers know her name even if she isnt in their classroom. They stay open till 6:30 which is a huge plus for me as a single parent so I have time to get home from work before picking her up. The fact diapers (until potty training time) and breakfast, lunch and a snack are included in the tuition is a huge plus as well! Couldnt be happier with my experience.

My newborn daughter started attending the Sunshine House at the end of October when she was 14 weeks old, and two months later we are still so incredibly happy with her experiences there! We love her teacher Ms. Lisa. Our daughter is so happy at drop off and at pick up, I love watching her interact with the other children in her class, and shes done some really cute art projects. Im a new Mom and I have especially appreciated the advice and information Ive received about my daughters development as well as suggestions. The Sunshine House in Huntersville is a great community!

Excellent place at an affordable price. Our daughter enjoys the teachers and has learned so much over the past year. Teachers are friendly and always communicate on how our daughter is doing.

My daughter has now been in 3 different daycares and this is the only one with a low teacher turnover. I was able to get to know each teacher well and they in turn were able to get to know my daughter so well too! We were at this sunshine house for 2 years and only left because we moved!I highly recommend this daycare for your babies!I will just say that communication could be better from the admin team. There were multiple times when I didn’t get emails, no one picked up the phone , or multiple staff were not on the same page. BUT no place is perfect and at the end of the day my girl was cared for and learned SO much from this team!

Love this place! Couldnt be happier. Friendly staff and good communication. My little one looks forward to going each day!

Very nice pre-school facility. They are very communicative and our daughter loves going there daily. The director, Robyn, is really nice and often goes above and beyond to make sure you are informed about everything that happens daily.

Poor communication. Never a notice about scholarships expiring, cost increases, preschool payments. New teachers start without notification. My child didnt even know who her afternoon teacher was. Would not recommend this chain.

My daughter started going to Sunshine House when she was 15 weeks old. All of her caregivers have been wonderful. I noticed a positive difference in her behavior after going there for a few weeks. She was less mommy dependent, more social, and more willing to play by herself rather than need attention all of the time. Every time I dropped her off she would get a big smile on her face when she saw one of her teachers. She was rarely crying when I went to pick her up (and the times she was crying I could tell it was her mommy Im tired cry from having too much fun). We left Sunshine House due to relocating for a job. One of the best perks about this facility is that THEY PROVIDE DIAPERS!!! I cannot tell you how amazing that is both financially and the sheer convenience of it. I would recommend Sunshine House in Huntersville to any new mom, they were great.

I am wondering, how this site earned these stars.It has been since 07/25/18 that Ms Sheena told me on the phone that she will emailed me for a phone interview....until today NO email. Unfortunately, the Management is lacking on communication.If I could give NO star, I would of...sad situation. 🤔

Teachers are very helpful and take a real interest in my daughter. She has been here since she was 6 weeks old and I have never had any issues.

I have nothing but positive things to say about the sunshine house. My children have always been treated with compassion while under their care!

This Sunshine house is a piece of crap1) There is security word but parents keeps holding the door so anybody can come in and enter the sunshine house ( With the kind of security these people provide STAY AWAY)2) Behind there is a parking space ( if any vehicle Brakes fail the vehicle will directly LAND of Kids Palyground), so they cannot even have a VEHICLE STOPPING SIDE3) Once I went in a hurry and paid two days fee for my baby BUT they charged late feewithout letting me know in advance (before they charge credit card they have to VERBALLY tell me that they are charging ) which they did not.4) I guess this is a bot of racism in this place.5) Both the directors talk fast with PLASTIC SMILES6) My Kid had some nail scratches on her BUTT , Do teachers TRIM their nails properly ??

I would highly recommend Sunshine House to anyone! This location in particular has been a blessing to me with both of my kids (now 11 yrs and 16 mos) even with the large gap of years in between. LaTash (former Director) was amazing to us, hence her promotion. Kami (Asst-Director) always seems to brighten my day with her positive energy and adoration for my child. Rechena (current Director) probably has a few gray hairs because of me but she is nothing less than awesome. The kindest, most understanding person you could ask for. Hands down, she is the perfect fit for the leadership position and her love for the children is seen on a day to day basis. Because my child has advanced so quickly for her age, there are too many teachers to specifically praise. But from being 3 months old in the infant room to a toddler class already, I couldn’t ask for a better team and support system when it comes to the care and safety of my child. 😊

We have had nothing but a great experience with the Sunshine House. They are not one of those college prep daycares that have some kind of advanced curriculum. They do have a curriculum though. My only gripe is the food does not always includes much protein beyond milk or a little bit of meat for lunch.Beyond that, we could not be happier with the daycare. We actually pulled our daughter out of one of the more expensive places because it felt too much like a factory or business where the caretakers didnt seem to care much for the kids themselves.There is a sincere sense that the staff at Sunshine House actually does care about the kids.

Sunshine house is convenient and I love my childs teachers!! Ms. Shahla and Ms. Sherrill LOVE my child and I can tell!!!! That is very important to me when leaving my child in someone elses care for 8+ hrs everyday. Thank you Mrs. Rechena and all of Sunshine Huntersville

My childrens service were terminated and everyone was aware but me,and there was no real legitimate reason to do so. The director lied and said that my ccri case manager terminated it and when I spoke to CCRI they stated it was at the providers request and they would provide a 2 week notice. LaTasha(director) is a liar and is apparently prejudice against her own race.

I have only good things to say! Warm and friendly environment.
