We have had nothing but wonderful moments and experiences at Huntersville TLE. The teachers are so sweet and truly care about all their classroom kiddos.

My son is in 4th grade and is a TLE alum, and my daughter just had her last day before before moving onto Kindergarten, and we couldnt be more grateful to the teachers, director and assistant director for being a part of our village these past 7 years. Everyone is very responsive and accommodating, and they have become like family to us. Both of my children left TLE knowing how to read and do simple math, but more importantly, they felt loved. As a parent, I couldnt ask for more. I would recommend TLE to anyone and everyone!

We started our son during Covid in the infant room. The teachers and directors we so kind about trying to provide updates and build a relationship even with all of the restrictions. We are so thankful to be apart of the TLE family and love how they have helped our son grow.

We are so grateful to have TLE as part of our village! The staff and administrators have been intentional about building a relationship with my son and our family- they know and value all of the quirks that come with our toddlers big personality and have given me an immense sense of peace as a first time mom!

FABULOUS! I cannot begin to explain how much we LOVE LOVE LOVE all of the ladies at The Learning Experience in Huntersville. As a first time mom trying to find a daycare, that I felt safe, to send my little girl was a top priority and ALL of the staff at The Learning Experience have exceeded any expectation I could have had, especially during a pandemic! Not only does my girl get the love and attention from her teachers but EVERYONE knows Baby Elliott throughout the entire building. My niece and nephew moved from Michigan at the beginning of 2020 and also attend TLE in two other classrooms. The teachers are all so good about letting them all see each other throughout the day (safely during COVID), even if it is just waving through the window! The leadership shown by Ms. Christina and Ms. Candace radiates through the teachers and is passed on to the students. The gratitude that I have for each and every person at TLE cannot be expressed in a simple google review!!

The State (DSS) should have closed this facility a long time ago! Ive been steadily watching the turnover of teachers in this facility for a year or so. Ive talked to several former teachers that have quit because of the horrible management. The list of complaints are numerous. The safety of the children is compromised too often. Be it broken or worm out equipment or the untrained new hires that are not qualified to work in a daycare. Management has been recorded lying during parent tours about daily routines, etc. The school menu is subpar as beef is substituted for soy bean. The cleaning company that is contracted to clean daily does not move any furniture to mop or vacuum unless specifically asked to do so. There are so many violations of codes mandated by the state that the management sweeps under the rug daily that parents should be aware of.More to come as more info is uncovered...

Almost didn’t tour this center but glad I did. The school looks amazing and very clean. Very bright and colorful. Their Curriculum is different then most child care centers and I am excited to see how my little one develops and learns. I later learned a friend of mine also had a child at a different TLC in another state and I knew then I had made the right choice.

After reading such an untrue review from an interviewee I wanted to write a review about how DEDICATED, INCREDIBLE, and AMAZING the Director and Staff is at the Learning Experience in Huntersville. As an educator and over protective parent I am rest assured that my child and other children there are being well takin care of and learning the essentials to be well prepared for Kindergarten. There is a multi-cultural staff and the director herself is mixed with a mixed family. The student population is also diverse. They speak about places from around the world, right now the unit is on Argentina. This serves as the windows for student to know a place outside their own. They push anthropology and speak of kindness and responsibility. My child is growing in to be a self-lead, independant, responsible learner who wonders and ask questions due to exploratory play inpart from this school. Any concern I have had has been addressed immediately. They want you to feel as safe leaving your child as the child feels being in the school. This review holds MUCH more weight coming from a parent that has a bi-racial child attending the school where we have felt more like family then just a customer. Please dont hesitate to call the director for my number if you have questions, Id be happy to talk about the wonderful experience my family has had at the school and my in depth conversations with staff pertaining to curriculum and the well being and overall health of my child.

I just wanted to take the opportunity to express my thanks for the great care you have shown for our son. I also appreciate the attitude of all the teachers, the fact that they really seem to get to know and work with the individual personalities of the children and the obvious interest in providing them with a bright, learning-filled atmosphere. Thanks for everything you do!Andrea K.

TLE is an excellent child care facility. My son has been attending for almost a year now. The staff is friendly and well-organized. I am impressed with the rigorous curriculum and extracurricular activities the school provides. My son looks forward to going everyday, and that means the most to me. We couldnt be happier with our choice!

The Learning Experience in Huntersville has been nothing short of amazing since we enrolled our 4 year old daughter there in November. The staff are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and personable and are so great with the children. Im a very pickey and worrisome parent when it comes to who cares for my kids and when I drop her off, I know shes in good hands. From the front desk to ALL of the staff ive encountered. Ms. Christina really knows how to run the facility and her teacher Ms. Ana is awesome as well. I have nothing but good things to say about this place.

I have a 4 year old attending TLE Huntersville since September. He is a quick learner but I was blown away when he recently started reading small sentences. The TLE Team is wonderful and the curriculum is great. Im extremely pleased with the center, Ms. Angie, Emily, Shauna and their leader Christina. She is dedicated to provide excellent service to the children and believes in education. Behind every strong leader there is a stronger team! Keep it up guys.

We absolutely adore the teachers my sons have had at TLE. They show a true interest in their development, growth, and care; and always are clear to communicate milestones, concerns or achievements made during the day. They have been wonderful in attending to all of my personal requests in regards to the care of my sons. TLE is a clean facility that has a good nutritional program for the kids, and it has a ‘close knit’ family feeling.

We love TLE and the wonderful teachers that work there. We changed day cares 3 years ago and have never looked back. Both my son and my daughter have attended. My son moved up to kindergarten this year and was very prepared - my daughter continues to thrive. A special thank you to the teachers and staff particularly Miss Christina the director, and Miss Rose (fondly known as Miss Ro Ro by my daughter and other students alike). They really do go above and beyond and I am always so happy when I hear my daughter talking about her day with her friends and favorite teacher. She even lets her put her hair in pretty bows which never happens at home. The right balance of play and learning. I would highly recommend TLE in Huntersville.

My family and I moved to Huntersville in April of this year. I was hesitant about putting my 3 year old daughter Taylor in child care so soon after our transition. When I began my search I toured at 4 different schools in the area, but I was discouraged by the chaos and disorganization of these facilities. When I met Ms.Christina, my very first impression of her was welcoming and acceptive. The teachers were friendly, and Taylor reluctantly felt comfortable interacting with the other children. My experience with The Learning Experience has been very successful, and I am grateful that I have found a great school for my daughter.

Just to start off Ms. Debbie, Candace, and the whole team at TLE is AMAZING. You and your kids will not be disappointed at TLE!We recently moved to Colorado, which brought our short time at TLE Huntersville to an end. Of all the reasons to be sad to leave NC, leaving TLE was my saddest reason... I actually got choked up and I never cry!! We started our infant at TLE Huntersville after having trouble at another daycare that came highly recommended. We had finally had enough there, so we reached out to TLE for help. Truthfully, the only reason that we hadnt reached out to TLE in the first place was because it was opposite of our commutes. So we decided to go with a more conveniently located center because we figured all daycares are basically the same for infants...right? Wrong!! I will NOT be making that mistake again. The extra 15-20 minutes to be at a wonderful school is absolutely worth it.From the moment I called, TLE made us feel like our little one was so loved. If only we had started there first!! We made it 5 minutes into the tour when we knew we had to become apart of the TLE family. During our short time there, we were in Ms. Debbies class - she is amazing! Im having trouble joining a daycare here in Colorado, because I havent been able to find another Ms. Debbie! Our little one was a slow feeder and low weight gain, which had us always worried about her intake. From the moment we started at TLE, our little one quickly became comfortable and was drinking her bottles for Ms. Debbie with no problem. We were finally able to stop worrying about her, which made life so much easier. Also, the little art projects that TLE does with the infant class are adorable and were a highlight of our time there. We cant thank the TLE Huntersville staff enough for making our time there so great. We miss yall dearly!

I have had the BEST pre-k experience with TLE Huntersville! Ms. Christina accepted my family at a time when we were in transition from a poor childcare facility and it was the best decision I ever made for my daughter. After 2 years, TLE Huntersville recently held a graduation ceremony for my daughter and others about to enter Kindergarten and I cant say enough about how heartfelt it was. The kids and families were honored in many special ways (so memorable) and above all, my daughter is reading and ready for her next phase in life. Thanks to Ms. Christina, Ms. Angie, Ms. Thelma and all the staff who make TLE rock! Forever grateful...Nicole McKinney

READ THIS FIRST BEFORE CONSIDERING TLE in Huntersville. Its not often that I write a bad review so this was an extremely special case. Buckle your seat belt. It will be quite a ride.We started TLE a few months ago when my wife decided to go back to work. It was a difficult decision to trust someone with your 2 babies after staying home with them their whole life. But this was a 5 star school, it was less than a mile away and for a bonus, I got a 10% discount through my job! Cant lose, right? (Famous last words)Both of us met with the director Christina before we started. She seemed nice enough. She has one of those personalities who tells it like it is. Shes blunt and sarcastic. But she had a lot of passion for the curriculum and her job so even though my wife had a hesitation, I pushed us forward. The first few weeks were hard because adjustment is HARD. My wife called almost every day to check on them and they seemed to be doing okay. Then my 3 year old started coming home yelling at himself NO! DONT DO THAT! We asked him if his teacher was saying that and he said yes and that he was a bad boy. We were concerned but we know hes a strong willed boy so we understood if he was being disciplined. But it was happening over and over. Then he came home concerned that one of the teachers didnt like him and was mean to him. One day my wife went to pick up our son and saw one of the teachers yelling clear acros the room and making one of the little boys cry. Now, one of the things they stressed was that they would NEVER yell at our children and that discipline would be handled with redirection. This was enough to prompt a meeting with the director. When you raise a concern you would hope that the other person would listen, be understanding and share your concerns. Well in a 1 hour meeting, Christina talked the whole time, made excuses for her teachers and ended by reprimanding my wife because she didnt bring this to her attention sooner.Around that same time they did an open house and Christina repeatedly made fun of her teachers and said that her partner Emily had the boring job and hers was the fun job. It was extremely condescending and we were embarassed for her.Back to the classroom, they ended up changing our boys room and he was with 2 great new teachers. Well that lasted for a few weeks before both teachers left that class, one of them confirming that she was unhappy and couldnt work with the director. We found this out after the fact because we kept seeing the one teacher that our boy was saying was mean to him and didnt like him. She was in there every day and basically she was taking over the class because the other girls were leaving. They never once told us this and the director had to call and apologize for that. There were other instances where Christina made fun of the teachers or just treated them rudely. Once we were talking to her and another teacher wanted to tell us something about our youngest and Christina shushed her, closed the door in her face and waved her away like some kind of bug. It was jaw droppingly, rude. After talking to more people, we could tell it was a toxic environment and there were a number of staff who were unhappy. There were some great teachers though which is the sad part. Kirsten and Rose in the toddler room loved our youngest so well and he was so happy. I just wish our oldests experience wasnt so terrible. It got to the point that he was so anxious with the discipline that he started peeing his pants. Hes been potty trained over a year and we couldnt figure out what was going on. He also started having nightmares and had trouble sleeping at night. We reach out to the regional director who was nice enough at first but stopped returning our calls as soon as we decided to leave. We wanted to follow up after leaving but miraculously our email started bouncing.Theres much more but space is limited.Overall completely unprofessional and HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED until changes are made.

I have nothing but GREAT things to say about TLE Huntersville, not only are the facilities brand new, they are meticulously maintained. The staff and teachers are out of this world; they always have a smile on their face and absolutely love my little girl. All the women at TLE truly love these children and their jobs, which shows every single day.I was always the mom who said Id never put my child in daycare, but after becoming part of the TLE Huntersville family, I cant imagine our lives without them. My daughter, whose only 2, can count past ten, knows her ABCs, can sing a dozen nursery rhymes from start to finish, and has learned countless skills and talents over the last year since enrolling there.TLE Huntersville has been an absolute blessing. My daughter loves school! From the curriculum to the menu, TLE takes education, growth, and nutrition very seriously, but not so seriously that my daughter doesnt have a blast each and every day. She loves learning and puzzles and reading. The things TLE has engrained in her are priceless. As a mom, it takes a lot to put me at ease when it comes to my child; I drop my daughter off at daycare and I know she is well taken care of and learning, but more importantly, loved.Jamie, Margie, and the entire staff at TLE Huntersville are doing such a fabulous job and I recommend their program to every mom I know.
