I’ll be writing two reviews in one, because I forgot to last time but let me tell you, WHITNEY BROOKS IS THE BEST. I came in for a pedicure and it was fantastic! The water was hot just like I liked it, she recommended things to keep me feet soft because I stand a lot from work. Not to mention the paint job was fierce! Absolutely outstanding work.Yesterday I came in for a fill-in and I received so much more. I got a chance to de-stress, laugh, and get a fabulous manicure on top of that. She used color changing gel polish that starts off red then changes to white in hot water. I was amazed. Absolutely love seeing her!

She was an awesome person who also made me feel comfortable about getting my first pedicure. She did a great job and Ive been twice already. I really enjoyed the service.

I went to Textures Institute and was serviced by Tan. I also got to meet Ms. Toni, one of the instructors. If you want to gain experience and proper instruction, please check this institute out first. I absolutely love my pedicure and so does everyone else.

I visited this school a couple of weeks ago for a manicure. Most of the students were nice but the professionalism is off. The place needs some upgrades and better cleaning. Instructor was very rude and loud, not attentive to students or their needs. Often they’d ask questions and I feel she made them feel inadequate which should not be the behavior of an instructor who should be setting an example. I’ll visit again and hopefully changes would have been made.

I received a full-set manicure from Whitney Brooks, and let me tell you she did a FANTASTIC job. Was very gentle and polite. Very clean and professional. I will definitely be back and will bring my family to receive her services.

These stars are strictly for the students there. Nichole was the best she got me in and out. After a hard day of work and barely any sleep she made it all worth it😊. However...the instructor was rude and not professional at all which threw the great vibes all the way off and made it uncomfortable to be a guest getting serviced. I LOVE my black owned school. In August I decided to quit my corporate job and pursue my dreams of becoming a nail tech. I visited multiple cosmetology schools, and ultimately decided on Textures. BEST DECISION I’VE MADE! The school has the BEST pricing in the state, as well as a GREAT nail tech instructor. I love the environment & support I receive from the instructor & staff.

This is my second time visiting . Today a friend and I went for pedicures and manicures. We arrived at 5:30 pm on a Thursday. Latisha was great. I was loonnnggg overdue. She took extra care with me. We will definitely return, and we highly recommend this school. The entire staff was very professional. There was a short wait for setup. There were instructors inspecting and coaching the entire time.It was a fun experience and my feet look and feel great. Posted between pedicure and manicure, so no comment on hands yet. I am certain I will be happy.

I had not been to the school in years. It has definitely changed and the prices seem to continue to increase. When I arrived staff were doing a photo session on their phones. The students all acted unconcerned about having a client and the staff that greeted informed me that everyone was leaving for the day. It was 1:30pm. One student was wearing holy jeans one staff on speaker phone talking and using profanity. The student that did my hair proceeded to have a photo shoot outside the school before doing my hair. Very, very unprofessional. I also was not satisfied with my hair.

As a student the structure in the beginning was great, however, things begin to change and unfortunately due to inconsistency, inappropriate behavior by staff I removed myself.

First pedicure in about 10 years. My experience was amazing lamiki has the hands of a goddess, I will surely be back!

My friend made an appointment for color, wash and iron out. there was a sign stating ( Be patient) after a half hour a student started on her hair but she never got the color done because they didnt know how to mix it or something along that line. Very unorganized

I visited the school on 01/2020 I got full set and pedi from Jalisa McMorris. She did an amazing job. She was patient, she conversed with me, she asked how I was doing. Jalisa checked with me to make sure I liked her work and was willing to change anything I didnt like. She is the reason I give this school five stars. You rock girl keep up the great work!
