Have purchased guns here, optics, ammo, had work done to my guns and I’ve never left disappointed. Mostly operated (possibly owned?) by ex military. Building is always clean. Never witnessed anything that goes against gun safety. Prices are good on all services and products. Offering free safety/training classes with every firearms purchase is something I wish more places did for first time gun buyers. A+ all around.

What a great place to shoot. Staff is friendly and helpful. Well stocked with inventory and very clean and safe.

I have done at least 3 transfers and had sights installed on 3 of my firearms which I purchased elsewhere because they were less expensive. When one of the sights became loose, I took the firearm back thinking I would easily get my firearm repaired. I even had invoice in hand to show I had the sights installed there. I was told that they couldnt replace them because they werent purchased there, which I was ok with. I was also told that any repair they might make would void the warranty on the sights and possibly the firearm. Be cautious having ANY gunsmith work done on your firearm here. If you dont purchase the product from them it seems they dont guarantee the work they do. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

If I can rate this place a negative star I would. Every time I go in here, it’s a problem. No one is helpful. All the employees are rude. When you ask questions they seem like they don’t want to answer them. Horrible customer service. Seems like when you’re black they don’t want to help. Definitely going else where. Won’t be back ever.

ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER .Very unprofessional. Not helpful seems like everyone has an attitude and they’re very rude . I came in ready to use the range and buy a firearm but I had several questions first so that I could narrow down my options. All of the employees there were extremely rude and did not want to answer many questions. One gentleman there that was working the range was polite and helped me after 30 minutes of being in the store. After using the range and I was ready to purchase the customer service got worse. I ended up not purchasing here. I can spend 1000 dollars at a better firearm store.If you’re a person of color I would not go here .

I took a class at Indy Arms Company and it was taught by Jim who did a great job! Jim was very educational, patient, and his instructing abilities were top notch. He was easy to follow, his voice was audible, and his demonstrations were clear. I like that the class size was limited to six people; this allowed for individual attention and a lot of questions to be answered. Jim worked with every attendee in the classroom and in the range. The range was in great shape. I really appreciate the airflow system they have and the tall dividers between lanes. It was clean and the RSO enforced the rules.Not only did I want to take the course, but I also came with the intention to purchase a handgun. They, like every other firearms business, are certainly not immune to the current, insane demand. While they had limited stock, I was still able to purchase one of the handguns that I had been researching. The gentlemen behind the counter was very knowledgeable and patient, and assisted me with the purchase of the handgun, holster, and cleaning kit. Not to mention, the price on the new handgun I purchased was cheaper than that of Buds or any other online retailer. I was pleasantly surprised, and extremely satisfied that shopping locally paid off. Ill absolutely be doing business with these folks again - guns, accessories, and classes.Thank you for a great, all-around experience.

Planning on upgrading guns pretty soon, I will come here and update this review accordingly. I gave 5 stars to the owner for answering/replying to most reviews! Shows he cares about his business and Im willing to spend my money where I seem to matter...Again! I will edit this once Im out their door!

We took the Intro to Handgun class with Jim and he was very patient and clear with his instructions and safety! In the range he was attentive to all four of his students giving them equal amounts of direction and help when needed or wanted. I highly recommend taking this class to learn proper handling and safety of a handgun for beginners, as well as those who may have some experience and want to make sure that they are doing everything correctly!

Been here 3 times, twice to go to the range, once to buy a gun. Their prices for guns and gun accessories were solid, although the range prices are a little steep as a non member. The staff have been helpful and decent every time Ive went as well.

I enjoyed shopping here. Great selection and they had a few accessories I needed. You know a girl can never have too many bags or bullets :-)Nice ranges and great customer service.

Recently dropped my gun off for their gunsmith and paid the base fee of $25. And even in this current state of overwork for gunstores and gunsmiths they had it ready in a few days. He replaced a bad part with a new one and made sure everything else was in working order and didnt even charge me anything more. Definitely a gunsmith I feel comfortable taking my firearms to!

Went in today to drop off a gun to the on site gunsmith. very pleased with my choice to trust these guys. very professional and friendly. im excited to get my gun back this next week. will update review after i get the gun back.

Inclusive place, and as we were relatively inexperienced shooters the staff were very helpful, informative, patient and it was fun & safe. Had a great selection of rental firearms to try out and learn about!

Went there for an intro to handguns class. The instructor jim was knowledgeable and knew how to explain things in plain english. He is a wonderful instructor. Overall the class was fun. I would recommend it to anyone who has never fired a gun but wants to get into it.

I drove about 2.5 hours to shoot my AR-15 at their indoor range. The staff was nothing but helpful and courteous. The range was clean and modern. The customers were the responsible gun owners you would expect to find at any quality establishment. There was a large selection of guns and accessories even amidst a pandemic. I highly recommend giving these guys a try.

Pretty sad that no one can answer the phone after 15 minutes of automated BS you dont need to hear about. Forget these people...sheesh....Amazing how they cant answer the phone due to high number of calls but Indy Gun Bunker can, Trading post can, 500 guns can......the list goes onMaybe they need to hire more people.

I shoot here frequently. The staff are always courteous and helpful. Great range, well maintained and clean. I have not purchased any firearms from them, but I browse frequently and their prices are excellent. Great selection of used firearms too. If you are looking for a great environment to purchase a gun or practice your skills they offer a lot. They will wait on you, unlike some of the other stores where they seem to care less. Good job Indy Arms! Ill stick up for them in light of some of the one star reviews...you dont have to buy their ammo to shoot, I have never been told I had to. Maybe if you are using their weapons, but that is industry standard for liability reasons I am sure and to protect their amazing rental selection.

Love this place. Guys working here are always nice. Brought my wife today to shoot for the first time, and she’s normally petrified of guns. She had a blast. Place is crazy busy right now, but they do there absolute best to accommodate. If it wasn’t for moving to South Carolina in 2 weeks, Id be a life long customer. Thank you

Very nice store, CLEAN, exceptional range! I have been in several times during the pre-opening, the range is second to none in the Indianapolis area. Very clean, well lit and bright atmosphere.The employees are very cordial and informative, prices are some of the best in town.Zach is an outstanding trainer and all around good guy.As for the ammo rule its been in place since day one. If you brought in your own and it was inadvertently missed before thats just the breaks. I agree with the rule as Id like to keep using this range rather than it burning down.To sensible shooters this isnt even an issue.If a $9 box of ammo is going to break the bank, youve chosen the wrong hobby ladies and gents.Keep up the fine work Indy Arms, Ill see you in a few weeks when I stop in for a new concealed carry pistol.

Lets be honest. As a black man even while dressed in non thug attire, its not unusual for me to be ignored or rushed in a gun store. That being said, the staff greeted me within seconds of entering the door. Not only did they have a great selection, but the gentleman that helped me was more than willing to take time to find the rifle best suited for my wifes needs. I got a package deal for a very reasonable price. I recommend this store to anyone on a budget or with limited firearm knowledge as the staff is very helpful and they offer training courses.

Top of the line facility, extremely nice and helpful staff too! Used the pistol range with gun rental. Top of the line equipment and air filtration. Very professional institution that offers a variety of training course. Well definitely make this our go to indoor range.

I visited with my girlfriend and her mother and had a pleasant experience. We were helped by a Puerto Rican gentleman who was very friendly! I appreciated that he was smiling and helping us since it was our first time at the range and handling a gun! GREAT GREAT customer service from that gentleman!

This is a great facility and has a some great employees. However their customers service is horrible. It all starts at the top. The owner can be very rude. I purchased 2 guns. A week past and he refused to released them to me. He kept saying that the back ground had not come back. Everytime I spoke with him he would be rude and tell he would call me. I finally ask for a refund and he got extremely upset but did refund the my money. I Went in a week later and they still had the guns and another employee ask is i wanted to buy them and sold me the guns and I took them with me that day as normally is the c

First time using this facility 2/21/20. I was pleasantly surprised. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Prices werent bad, less than what I thought I would have to pay. Clean facility and from what I saw from the quick glance around the facility, its seems they have pretty much everything you might need including classes. Ill definitely be back.

Best indoor range I have ever been to. I have been a member for over 3 years and it is really a great place to shoot your pistol or long rifle. The staff is usually very friendly and they have a simulated shooting simulator for law enforcement and others who want to use a real life scenario. Well worth the time to visit and try them out.

I walked in, traded in a gun, bought a new one and walked out in 30 min. I tried to do this at a shop in Carmel and it took 2 hours. The staff and experience has made me a life time customer. Next time I buy a shooty mc-shooter or any bang bangson accessories I will be going here. Tha ks guys and keep up the good work.

The slowest FFL ! Waited over a week to receive my firearm which was purchased online . I’ve gone to other FFL’s for transfer and never waited no more than 48 hours to go pick up my firearm even with covid ! They need to either hire more people to get the firearms on book or stop accepting transfer !

I havent seen or been on their range so I cant comment on that. They do have a nice large selection but theyre extremely peicey.While looking in their display case and talking to one of the associates I noticed that the used gun I was looking at was priced almost $50 more than a brand new one just across town. I pointed this out to the sales guy I was talking to and even pulled it up on my phone and showed him. He just said that he would be able to sell it at his listed price all day long. So I kindly pointed out that it definitely wouldnt be me, not for that much of a mark up, and took my business down the road.I might consider going back to try out the indoor range and possibly check out their rental selection but I dont see myself actually shopping there.

Good selection and all but I have mixed feelings if they actually believe in the second amendment just minor policies. Gun Range is also overpriced, probably will not use again.

This is a wonderful place. I think the staff is extremely patient with everyone, no matter what their level of expertise is. To add to that, what place in Indy has an actual gunsmith on staff that knows what theyre doing? That guy is good. Hes only there one or two days a week, but it is entirely worth the wait. He even has the average price for gun repairs listed on the door to the shop (I think its less than 40 bucks). My grandfathers rifle built in 1939 wouldnt fire when I took it in. The NEXT DAY, I had a clean, fully-functioning rifle for only $25. Take your gun there (even if all you need is a good cleaning) and check it in at the desk. They will call you when its ready to pick up. Outstanding.

I didnt have a great experience, only been here once and may not return. On arriving to use the range the person at the counter was amazing. The store was clean and the staging area to go to the range was good. I really liked that you can choose the length to the target as well.Using my own AR I was told to use their ammo (which I understand to minimize wear on their range), however every 3 rounds my gun would jam. Never had this issue in the past with any other ammo. I had a 22LR conversion so I just moved to that instead. Then it was HOT...really HOT, dripping sweat hot in there. I couldnt imagine being in there any longer.On my way to check out, it was a different guy at the counter. He advised me that I should have checked out at the other computer (didnt sound like he was kidding) and I apologized, making me feel like a jerk for coming to him. He still checked me out. I advised him about the heat issue and he dismissed my issue, as my sleeves were soaked from sweat.Not the worst experience Ive ever had, but not a good one either.

Visited Indy from NYC and was so excited to shoot some guns. This place exceeded my expectations. Very friendly, inclusive, fairly priced, and a great selection of rentals.

Just returned home from Indy Arms and wanted to let everyone know what an amazing experience I had today. Extreamly friendly and courteous staff of experienced professionals. Very clean and fresh atmosphere. I quickly felt comfortable after just a few minutes of chatter. Inexpensive range time and firearm rentals. Nice facility, two separate ranges, laid back professional helpful staff, and reasonable prices. Sometimes these indoor ranges can be less welcoming to new shooters but not the case here. My favorite local indoor shooting range.

I was interested in purchasing a new pistol. I was able to test fire a range version in their great indoor range. I felt that safety was actively a range standard. I then was able to order the pistol and was able to pick it up within a week. Great service and selection.

I stopped in during my visit to Indianapolis, this place is great! The weekday special is a great deal, the guys working there are very helpful and the range is very clean. Ventilation system on the range clears the smoke so youre not breathing it and tasting lead, nice cool AC, and a digital target control system so you can set your distance exactly! Loved it, definitely recommend stopping in here!

Attentive and enthusiastic sales staff. Rifle inventory rotates often and majority of prices are competitive with online. Even got a hand with mounting and fitting my new optic before I bought it.

Just finished intro to handguns class. All the staff, in particular the instructor Jake I think (sorry) were great. Terrific facilities for classes and range lanes. Great variety of merchandise from pistols of all kinds to rifles and everything for them. Very reasonable prices on all of it. Definitely not my favorite gun store. The customer service is not the best. And if you try to call them for questions or assistance, you’ll see that they have the worst phone system of any company out there. It is a very long, automated voice recording and you never get an option to speak to a staff member. Also, I was at the gun store multiple days over the past week and there was 2 maybe 3 customers inside both days; yet they act as if they are super busy due to the covid disease.

I took a 2 hour private firearms course w Rick Cass and it was excellent. My goal was to learn to use a gun w confidence for home protection. We fired several types of guns and my accuracy and confidence w the mechanics of using a firearm increased substantially. I would highly recommend this course and shop to anyone. The guys are all very helpful.

The range and showroom are clean, well-lit, and inviting. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. If you are brand new to guns and even just curious about them, I would recommend Indy Arms Company. Furthermore, if you have friends who are fearful of guns and critical of the gun community, this would be a great place to take them. I guarantee they will leave with a better understanding and more positive view of the firearms community.

They make you use only their extremely overpriced (think 300%+ of online cost) ammo for the range. Even if you have exactly the same ammo from the same manufacturer in brand new, sealed cartridges. Even if you have a magnet to show there is no steel core, which is what they give as the reason they won’t let you use your own ammo. I would have just not left a review if they had come out and said it’s so that they can make more money rather than tell me a lie about how it’s a safety issue.I would give my recommendation to Parabellum on the west side. It might be a little bit of a drive, but the range prices are way lower, you can use your own ammo, and you don’t get treated like a criminal and have your gear searched through for ammo that you didn’t buy at a massive mark up from Indy Arms. in my opinion, Parabellum is both a better range as well as being more Second Amendment friendly.

I have shot in a lot of the indoor ranges in Indianapolis. This is by far the cleanest locally owned range. They have 2 bays one for rifle and another for pistol. You can barely hear the range from the show room which makes browsing the selection of rental guns nice. Great staff who are willing to help in anyway they can. Very nice selection of guns to choose from from 22 caliber handguns to 50 cal Barretts. The range has several shooting leagues to do as well as special events for holidays. The class selection is everything from never held a gun to advanced level training. You wont regret stopping by to see the place.

The store: Nice, clean, up to date with technology. The store was set up and organized well. Guns were clearly shown, however the price tags should be printed instead of hand written. Some of the writing was hard to read. Plenty of reasonably priced accessories as well.The staff: Fantastically friendly, helpful and relatable. Mathew was very helpful and showed me around the store.The range: 20 dollars for an hour/ military discount to 10 dollars for an hour and 10 dollars for a gun rental. 9mm ammo was 14 bucks a box. Then 2.50 for ear and eye pro. High tech lanes with digital controls, air conditioned, very clean. Have both small arms and a rifle range. Overall one of the best gun stores/ranges I have ever been to.

Excellent gun store. If you are a novice or expert, have the middle-aged gentleman with the beard help you. He is the PERFECT gun salesman. Hes not uber-oppinionated and listens. And hes VERY knowledgeable. Prices are good.. occasionally excellent. I have shopped here close to 20 times and never once have i seen the staff profile/stereotype a customer. Black, white, gangster, suit and tie, man, woman, right, left....whatever....everyone seems to get great customer service. And even though i would rather not deal with the over-the-top gun guy that works there(there is at least one at every gun dealer), even he seems to be helpful to every walk of life. My hats off the Indy Arms Company.

Went there today to drop my upper off and have some work done. Cant speak for the work yet but the staff was polite and knowledgeable and despite having a large amount of customers they found a way to make time for me and everyone else. No one was standing around foot tapping or BSing everyone was being taken care of. The cleanliness of the store and professional friendly atmosphere made it a pleasure to visit. I Will most definitely be coming back to check out the awesome range and product selection in the near future.

I had a very disappointing experience the first time I went to this range. However, the owner, Rick Cass made himself available to speak with me via phone and then later in-person. Im very impressed with Rick and his willingness to reach out to customers that is why Im giving a 5 star rating!

One of the best experiences in my life. I have never shot a gun or anything like a bb gun ever. I am 20 years old. I was scared and intimidated. After words, i felt more open and comfortable about talking about guns prior then to when i wasnt.My friend who has had prior gun experience was with me. The employee Jake i believe, or Jacob? I cant remember, but he was super nice and helped us hold the gun properly and how to aim properly.Overall very very satisfied and am going back!

Not only do they not review any rules or guidelines for using their range with new, inexperienced customers, Ive repeatedly seen no monitoring of the lanes either in person or via the video monitors while shooters are not practicing safe range protocols. I finally said something to the staff one day in January after watching guys pass guns back and forth from one lane to another and watching one of the guys giving ganster gun handling instructions to his buddy and the staff told me about how busy they are. Also, they will allow long guns on the pistol range. Whats the point of having separate ranges if they just co-mingle the users?

My family and I went to the range today. There was 5 of us. We were greeted as soon as we entered the door. After selecting our guns, Adam took us into the range area. He took the time to explain everything to each of us one at a time. He answered every questions we had. Adam was awesome. We will be back

Ive been going here for I dont even remember how long. Its a great facility all around. The guys there are awesome and will do anything they can to help you. Yes its their jobs but they actually enjoy it. Personally Ive bought 3 weapons from them so far and have no intentions of going anywhere else. The second pistol I bought from them they literally looked for me for an entire month and both myself and them were unable to find exactly what I wanted but we found the next best thing. I spend a lot of time at the range firing and see people come and go and have seen people do some dumb stuff. So chances are if some hasnt been allowed back in or is upset, its because these guys are extremely serious about safety and have zero tolerance for stupidity and unsafe acts. So in short, Great staff, great range, great store and overall great atmosphere. I wont go anywhere else!!

Pretty good place. They make you buy rifle ammo there though and the markup is pretty high. Knowledgeable staff, emphasis on safety, and they will mount and sight your scopes for about $40.

I have been to this store alot. mostly for FFL transfers, They get it done, but their computer system is SLOOOOOOOOOOOOW....slow. ammo for the range is $$$ but that is to be expected.Their range is nice and professional, the only thing I dont like is for my AR-15 I have to purchase their ammo, which is costly and I already have a lot of ammo. I get why they do this, people would possibly go in there with tracers and armor piercing rounds. Maybe if they could just ask to see what we are shooting?

This range is clean and modern with digital inputs for target distance. Instructor was also friendly and competent for the training class I attended. The owner went above and beyond to make up for the training class that was cancelled. I would definitely recommend this place (and its convenient location) to any enthusiasts or novices like myself who are just curious about the sport of shooting.

Stopped by for the first time yesterday. Ive been to several gun ranges in Indiana and none have been as modern and as clean as this one. I was impressed by the setup. The staff was friendly and the facilities are top notch. Will definitely be back when Im in the area.

Brad was very helpful in helping me find the gun I needed. He knew the pros and cons of similar guns that let me make an informed decision without feeling pressured. The rest of the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great selection of guns at competitive prices (listen to me, i sound like a commercial. Lol), awesome selection or rental guns and tons of classes taught by the in-house instructors and certified instructors. The guys are incredibly knowledgeable; many of them being either prior or current service members.

Purchased my new beautiful Special Edition Amethyst Kimber 9mm from this location. Great service from the staff, very knowledgeable and friendly. Purchase process was easy and fast. They also included an extra mag with my purchase, which I appreciated very much. They have a great selection of quality firearms. Will return to this location next time we are in town. Will also like to use their trap/skeet range. Thank you again !Lol - just noticed their range is indoor. I thought they had an outdoor range as well for shotgun -oopsie. Indy Arms Co is the place to go of you want a nice relaxed shooting environment. State of the art ranges and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. ZOMBIE SHOOT WAS AWESOME!!

Its better than dons guns, the older woman there is a B, shouldnt even be working there. The range is nice and the other guys Ive met there are knowledgeable, but that woman is the reason for the 1 star, get rid of that idiot and Ill give you a 5. A LOT of call of duty idiots there in the evening.

The refused to sell me ammunition unless I bought a gun from them. I have never been told that by anyone anywhere ever. Not a good impression for my first visit. Needless to say I will never shop here ever, they lost my business forever in 30 seconds.

This guy has pumped a lot of money into this place! As such he charges for some stuff that most places dont; he charges for safety glass and ears on his range, but it was only like $2.50. That was interesting, besides that the facility is state of the art, and their paper targets are made of some kind of vinyl.The staff there was great, and their prices were clearly displayed; they havent been open long, so they offer a limited amount of classes, but they have a growing list. While I was there, there was a lot of ladies taking a womens self defense class. I also ran into a couple of Special Forces types so that was kool; they have a really diverse clientele. All that said I will definitely be going back, cheers!

The only problem I have with this place is with the staff. Dont get me wrong they are very friendly and helpful. But I get the feeling that they know it all you dont know anything if they havent heard of it then its not true. Other than that this place is great.

First time going to this range and I won’t ever go back. I did some research before going to this range to make sure I could shoot my ar-15(.223/5.56) and my m1 grand (30-06). When I arrived I was instructed by the two gentlemen behind the counter that even though I brought my own ammo I couldn’t shoot it on their range and had to buy their ammo. The ammo I brought to the range to shoot was brand new from the factory brass 55g federal .223/5.56. My m1 grand ammo was brass 150g ppu 30-06 ammo which was also factory new. If they had bothered to inspect the ammo( like their website says they do) they would have found the ammo to be brand new from the factory and in good firing order. I was then told my m1 grand (30-06) was to “loud” to shoot and that they only allow “loud” guns on Monday nights.(the ar I shot has a comp on it which is 3x louder than the 30-06 would have been) I then was given two options of their ammo which they were selling at outrageous prices of $21 for a box of 50.(about 42 cents per round). This was a terrible experience and I would highly recommend people DON’T go to this range as it seems they take advantage of shooters.

Cleanest and nicest range in the city! Staff is friendly and sociable. Fair prices and nice cool air conditioned lanes.

Really nice place!!! Huge selection of guns and the sales staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. Oh, and the state of the art shooting range doesnt hurt either.

You wont find a better range. Cleanest air for an indoor range that Ive ever been to. Super friendly staff, good selection of handguns. Finally someplace close for Northsiders! :)
