I signed up during Covid and found there is no structure or real learning. Its just you reading and trying to comprehend new vocabulary and laws regarding real estate. I purchased the top package for learning. There was a few live teachers to go over just basic real estate terms etc. However, because everyone tuning in was from a different state it was not specific to your state laws etc. Which then teachers could not answer your questions. If youre a person that needs live classroom or in person learning, this is NOT the program to enroll in. I called and received my money back. Which was nice because I will be using it to sign up with another company.

READ THE REVIEWS FIRST!!!! This is definitely not something I recommend. This is my second time posting because my first review was removed for whatever reason. I, like most other reviewers, wish I had viewed the reviews before starting. The courses were a mess and the final was way different from what I actually learned and a lot of stuff on the quizzes is stuff that you havent learned or wont be learning until the next few chapters or even as far ahead as the whole next unit. On top of that when you email the people for help their best way to answer is belittle you a little and answer your question in a way that doesnt even seem like they answered it at all. My text books cam all broken despite being new and fell apart once I got a little over halfway in the book. There is also a bunch of typos especially in the tests that make you second guess if the right answer is even the right one because of the way it is worded. I will be taking my education to community college where I will learn and be helped with all my questions at the same time because on this course if you get stuck and they want to give you attitude instead of actually helping then you can kiss any hope of getting your answer goodbye as well as any other help you need. Currently struggling to get a refund but that why these things are called scams.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!Materials are very general and extremely dated. Test Prep was awful. If this is your only course and prep for CA Exam be prepared to fail. I have Brokers license in other state, Real Estate licensee for over 8 years. And when I sat for exam, I passed but not by much I am sure, and that was through no help of this course or materials. Literally the only relevant info from this course was extremely generic, relevant to any state type questions. (How many SF in an acre type questions). They are obviously not up to current CA speed as test prep says results are mailed to you in approx 5 days (its been electronically scored and results given on site immediately after exam for a while now.). I suggest you look anywhere but here. My last NV exam test prep (different provider) was more relevant and timely to the CA exam I just took than this garbage.

The interface was clean and easy to use. I had no issues with the content of the Real Estate Finance: California course. However, Real Estate Express issued me a transcript with an outdated course number, which led CalBRE to deny my application for the RE exam. Although it was a quick fix after the fact, I feel that REX was not apologetic and did not truly own up to their mistake / for being the cause of my RE test application to be denied. I recommend being very cautious when you receive your transcript, and ensure that it is valid and correct before submitting it to your state.

STAY AWAY! They “had a glitch in their system” and never notified their customers that the completion certificates had incorrect numbers. So after waiting 2+months to get my test date... I was notified by DRE that there was an error caused by Real Estate Express... now I will have to wait another 3-4 weeks to be cleared for a test date.If they cared about their customers they would have notified their customers. In addition to that mess.... their course is full of typos, errors, and freezes during the final, causing even more delays. They deserve to be sued for waistng our time. They deserve to lose their credentials!

If there is ZERO star, I will give real estate express ZERO star. I paid the money, but they gave me a certificate with an invalid number. Stay away from this company. Dont waste your money on real estate express.

This is a money scam. When you read one textbook and you take the final exam on that textbook you have to pass it to get to another textbook. When you failed, you have to wait 18 days to retake it. Why cant I read all my textbooks then take the final exam? Obviously, They did this to buy time for the course to expires then make you pay again to take it again. Greedy people with no ethics. If I know this ahead of time then I would have taken an in-person class with another company.

Thanks to Real Estate Express, my application to the CalBRE has been rejected because the course certificates have expired and their courses are inactive at this time, according to the CalBRE representative I spoke with this morning. It is incredibly frustrating knowing that though I followed the appropriate steps in order to complete the coursework in a satisfactory fashion, the insutition, that is, Real Estate Express, has failed to perform its due diligence and ensure that their services are meeting the requirements of the California Bureau of Real Estate. Though Ive spoken to two representatives from Real Estate Express regarding the matter, it is rather obvious that I will be given the run around for days, if not weeks, before the situation is rectified. It is rather unfortunate that the services rendered have not been delivered and now I am forced to wait on Real Estate Express to rectify the issue at a pace that is most convenient for them. I find this to be highly unacceptable, and would encourage anyone considering Real Estate Express to avoid them at all costs and go with a proper, accredited, and up to date program to obtain their real estate license, rather than spending valuable time and money on this rubbish.

This is the worst experience I have ever had with an online course. The instructor was not helpful at all and returns emails with confusing, useless information. Doesnt seem like he wants you to succeed at all. The material is poorly formatted and the courses do not prepare you for the final exams. After exams I talked to actual real estate professionals who were baffled by the questions the instructor posted. I feel I have completely wasted my time and money with Real Estate Express. Signed up for first tuesday and have already learned more useful information than I did in months with Real Estate Express. I would never recommend this to anybody.

Stay away from Real Estate Express. Wasted time with there convoluted jargon that has nothing to do with passing the test. They offer practice tests after you pass the 3 required courses that were a waste of time and had nothing to do with the exam. Find a course that actually helps you pass the exam.I passed the CA exam yesterday with NO help from Real Estate Express.

I used RE Express (henceforth REX) for online self-study, passed their exams with high scores, and studied for my RE exam. The day before my test I stumbled on some sample Kaplan test questions, and realized that they covered several items that REX did not go over in detail, especially architecture, some elements of fiduciary relationships, appraisal concepts, and even the size of Sections (640 square acres; REX didnt even cover this at all). I decided to buy the Kapre (Kaplans name in CA) online Q-Bank for $60 and went through about 900 questions the night before my exam, and thankfully, several of the Kaplan questions actually appeared almost verbatim on my real exam. Im not joking: I had several questions that were almost identical to my Kaplan Qs, differing only in names and multiple choice order. I think that because I had gone through Kaplans Q-Bank, I passed my exam the next day and finished easily in under an hour.I would not recommend REX if you are planning on self-study. Although Kaplans course is a bit more expensive, my experience with their Q-Bank and its closeness to real exam questions compel me to recommend Kaplan highly over REX. I believe that I had wasted a lot of time studying REXs materials, very little of which were emphasized on my real exam. Furthermore, the REX questions at the end of each chapter bore almost no resemblance to any of the real exam questions I had encountered. Best of luck to you.FYI: I did not encounter a single math question on my test, although Kaplan did go over some essential math like interest calculations.
