Awesome place for kids. Kids love to go to classes and want to grow in their skills. Instructors know how to deal with kids. They are patient, promote good values. Definitely recommend

Our 5yo son has been attending for a month. It is fun to watch the kids listening and following directions from the instructors. The instructors are awesome. They are very energetic and in tune to the kids level of ability. They break down all of the moves to the kids level so that can easily repeat and learn. Their are lots of games mixed in with instruction. Our son is building confidence, respect, and responsibility.

These instructors are amazing! So energetic and and kid-focused! Its heartwarming to watch them interact with the kids and work to teach them discipline and self respect as well as the skills they are so knowledgeable about. Weve been to a few other places around town and nothing compares to the friendliness and compassion that these people show to the kids and parents each and every day!

We have been taking our 8 and 10 year old boys to Kick Martial Arts for about 6 weeks now for Taekwondo and absolutely love it there! The boys are growing in their self-confidence and having lots of fun at the same time. This is the first time that they have joined a sport where their interest has continued for this long and they look forward to going to classes. We especially appreciate the interest that the teachers take in each student and their focus on developing character in addition to physical abilities.

Very happily surprised by this place. Fantastic teachers and a great environment. I really love their message through what they focus on. They really make it a fun experience while helping the kids become better people. I really cant say enough about this place I truly loved it for my daughter and Im so glad she is there.

It’s amazing how much a little bit of personal time with students can motivate them in ways that makes them seek all their instructor’s approvals. This seems to happen a lot during classes and not just with certain students. Always attentive and willingness to go above and beyond on class and personal instruction makes a tremendous difference in the development of students. KICK provides so much more than just lessons.We truly feel like we are family there. We absolutely love the way that respect has been developed in a way that makes the students want to embrace it. Being productive, respectful and successful can be fun and structured. Beyond this, KICK is a family to admire as they lead by example in their selfless generosity and care.

I love this place! They are great with both of my kids (ages 5 & 7). They keep them constantly moving so they are better able to focus, and treat each child with respect as if they were adults. Extremely great instructors and a positive, fun environment.

Great family feel and helping my son with compassion and self control!!

We started our 5 year old daughter here about a month ago, and she is loving it so far! She is always so proud of herself when she gets to demonstrate the moves she’s learned in front of the class. They work on themes like respecting parents and self-defense. And of course it’s great for the little ones to burn off some energy :) My favorite thing about the classes is that it’s never the “same old thing” — you can tell a lot of thought goes into planning new and exciting activities each week. Overall, this has been a great experience 👍

My 12 y/o daughter is really enjoying taking Jujitsu here. Instructors are great. Fun and useful, cant recommend more highly.

I love this small community. This sport is not something I grew up with so it’s very unfamiliar territory for my husband and I. My daughter is 4 and does taekwondo here— we are so impressed with their patience and kindness with coaching kids. They teach wonderful morals and principles on top of a unique and strong way to use the body! Totally love it, and I love that they let us have a free lesson to try it out. I’ve recommended them to many of my friends with kids. We especially love Mr. Ben and his positive energy!

We enrolled our 5 year old son about a month ago. He has really enjoyed the classes so much! We love how interactive and encouraging everyone is and we feel these classes will be such a positive thing in our son’s life! We are already seeing improvements with his confidence and focus!

I absolutely love this martial arts studio for our 4 year old daughter who is enrolled in the Little Kickers Program. They work great with the kids and incorporate life skills into each class. I also love that they encourage and provide opportunities for volunteer work. She looks forward to going to her classes. Thank you for being awesome!

Everyone has been very nice and extremely friendly. The teachers have a great approach to working with a larger number of students. They are so kind!

My 10 yr old and I both signed up a month ago at KiCK. We love it. The teachers make it fun and easy to learn. They have a step-by-step approach to teaching the technique, and explain further detail for better understanding. We are both beginners at Jiu Jitsu, but have already learned so much in just one month! I feel the teachings crossover to life lessons as well. I highly recommend KiCK if you’ve been contemplating trying it out. My son has more confidence and is excited to continue learning. And we love that it feels like a family. Everyone is quite close at KiCK and I felt like we belonged right away.

KICK has been a wonderful place for my son. They keep them active and engaged from the moment classes start until the end. Its always positive reinforcement and after only 7 classes, I can see my son listening and following directions 100% better than when he started. He loves going to class and asks everyday if its Ninja Class day! They teach moves as well as lessons in doing the right thing and being a good person! Love this place!

This is the place I was looking for ..... I wanted a place for my 4 year old son to start getting involved in classes and learning outside the house. I sat in on the first class and watched how they went about teaching him as part of the class and I was impressed about how they were teaching life lessons in what looked like games. The staff is very sweet and very good with kids.

The instructors/owners, Mr. TJ & Mrs. Tiffany are AMAZING! It’s like a family there. My son absolutely loves it. Not only do they learn how to be a ninja (as my son puts it) but it’s also great at teaching them lessons & how to behave. HIGHLY recommend!!

Ive been with KiCK since November in adult combatives and my daughter joined a month later in the BullyProof program. From day 1 Ive been nothing but impressed with the staff of KiCK. In the 3 years we have been with KiCK, they have consistently demonstrated a love for the kids, families and their sport. The kids are greeted and addressed by name, as are many of their siblings and family. They also have a passion for serving their community. Each month a different organization or people-group is loved on by this outstanding group of leaders and students. I am convinced that the impact KiCK is making on the kids and families is a far reaching one that is helping shape the minds and actions of these children as they grow. The discipline of the sport as well as learning to act with intentional character traits such as respect, perseverance and self-control while serving those that have a need and then in turn teaching that to others is what sets KiCK Martial Arts far above the rest. We love them!

Our daughter has been at KiCK for almost a year now and we have seen her excel in their martial arts program. The instructors are kind and keep the kids focused and also having fun. They stress the value of community involvement by hosting service projects every month as part of the requirement towards earning belts, which we love. The instructors treat their students with respect and are highly knowledgeable. In addition to teaching martial arts disciplines they demonstrate self-defense techniques and scenarios in every class. Our daughter feels empowered and confident!

I was really skeptical about Karate for a 5 year old girl. No one in my extended family had ever done karate, so I knew nothing about it other than a quick google search. My friend recommended Kick to us because her kid goes there and loves it and I cant say enough good things. My kid adores it. Her instructors show up always full of positive energy and are really great with kids. They had her name memorized by her second visit and have taught her so much. They have taught her a lot of mindfulness, every session they talk about character, they spent a lot of time talking about self control this spring and now my 5 year old responds to comments about self control- (time to turn off the tv *insert tantrum* what would Mr TJ say, would he think you have great self control? And she instantly stops her fit). I really cant say enough good things. When covid started I was tempted to cancel and save money but the virtual meetings are fantastic and really kept my kid together during lockdown. Also it was a great way to burn off her excess energy! Its a great workout for her even remotely. If you are thinking of sending a kid to Karate really think about Kick. They really are passionate about what they do!

Our son started in December and he LOVES it! We so appreciate the values he is learning at KiCK, and we think the world of the instructors. TJ and Tiffany really care about the students, and martial arts has given my son something to be excited about, and work hard for. He sees those belts on the wall and he wants to persevere, be his best and grow. Hes becoming more confident as well, which was one of our goals in finding a sport he likes, a sport that supports the values and character traits we want him to have. We love how supportive everyone is in class, and we also enjoy Service Saturdays for a chance to give back to the community. We are thrilled and grateful to be part of the KiCK family.

Our two daughters started Kick Martial Arts 2 1/2 years ago. Mrs. Tiffany and Mr. T.J. are amazing role models and mentors for our kids. They teach self control, compassion, integrity, humility and perseverance. The instructors not only know all of their students by name, but take the time to learn the names of siblings and parents as well. Community service is encouraged and part of the curriculum. Children are taught they are never too little or young to do something. Our daughters even took opportunity given to them by Kick to travel to Haiti for a mission trip this year. It was life-changing for our children and Kick has been such a blessing for our family.

We first heard of KiCK when we were invited to a classmates birthday party. We loved the structure, enthusiasm, and techniques taught, so we signed up before we left!We have noticed a positive change in our daughter since attending. She is more focused and confident. We love when she comes home and brings what shes learned about the Character Counts into our daily lives. Showing compassion by caring for others. Choosing right over wrong with integrity. She even goes to school and teaches her friends.We love KiCK! You can see the joy on the kids and teachers faces during class as the kids learn new things and demonstrate respect for each other.

I cant say enough about how good this place is. I would give it 10 stars if possible. We enrolled our 4 yr old son thinking he would learn ninja moves. Little did we know he would actually be instructed on how to be a good person and learn principles of compassion, integrity, humility, and perseverance in addition to physical activity. The staff and owners here are true professionals, really care about their students, and are spectacular with kids. I highly recommend this place for any parent wanting to grow their children and think about it as a better option before joining the local soccer or baseball team!

The instructors are energetic, fun, respectful to the students, and really encourage them to have a good time while learning. They take the time to help each student feel comfortable, whether extrovert or introvert, outgoing or quiet. I am very glad we found this school for our son, he loves it!I also recommend birthday parties here! My son celebrated with 20 friends from ages 6-17, and within 10 minutes TJ knew all their names and had them engaged in fun games. What a blast they all had!

My son has been with KiCK Little Kickers program since August 2017- it is everything we hoped for and MORE! Talk about an action packed 30 minute class- you will be pleasantly surprised with what you get from their program. The instructors are the most positive and encouraging group of adults/young adults around and you can see through their actions that they LOVE what they do and teaching these kids! You will get character development, self-defense instruction, taekwondo techniques, and FUN in every single class you attend! My son cannot wait to go to class every week! I have seen the character growth and discipline growth in my son since he started with KiCK and I KNOW that what he is learning carries out into the REAL world and he feels empowered to make a difference in his life and those around him!

I cannot say enough good things about the Holgersons and Kick Martial Arts... Mrs. Tiffany is the reason my daughter first got involved in Martial Arts. She encouraged her to join in so her brother would feel more comfortable and she was hooked. Ive seen my daughter grow in so many ways, but most notably in her confidence. I love that she has so much fun, continues to grows more confident, is encouraged to get involved in her community and it encouraged every step of the way. It is such a loving and nurturing environment with strong role models. Cannot recommend them enough!

An amazing experience for any child! Very unique, fun way of teaching martial arts! They are unlike other martial arts studios and really make it fun while still teaching structure. They even work on character traits of Compassion, humility, integrity, and perserverence:) Its also a fantastic workout for the kids. My 11 year old daughter can do 50 push ups!

Our son has been in the Little Kickers class at Kick for about 9 months and has really enjoyed interacting with all of the instructors (he says Mr. T.J. is really silly sometimes). I appreciate the strong focus on being a good person and the importance of service to others as a part of that. They are always encouraging and do well walking the line of being patient with the kids but still instilling the importance of discipline. Highly recommend checking them out!

My son, Josh, is 7 and I have never seen him so serious about anything. He struggles with behavior issues, and this has been an amazing outlet for him. It gives him extra understanding about how to treat another person and what we can hold ourselves accountable for our own actions...plus act like a crazy kid and learn some cool moves!! He usually wants to wear his belt with everything!!

Were so excited to have found Kick Martial Arts, after enjoying a really great birthday party last weekend!! Our little guy is thrilled to get started after trying one class and is upset our schedule wont allow us to return for the next class until Thursday. My daughter has been taking classes at KICK for almost three years. TJ and Tiffany have worked hard to create a positive and fun learning environment. Both are extremely knowledgeable and very involved in teaching various classes. My 6year old has been at kick now for 6 months. She absolutely loves it! Mr TJ and the other instructors do a great job of being firm yet friendly and fair with the kids. They are great motivators and great teachers. They teach character counts to the kids in ways they can understand.

We are a large family of 4 children ages 14,7,2,10mnths. My 14 year old son was in his first class tonight. The little kids and I sat on the bleachers and watched. There was a play area for the littles which was nice to keep the 2 year old busy. The staff was very kind and informative. The class was well taught and engaging! We all felt comfortable and welcome. We are excited to continue learning with KiCK!
