Me and a coworker were talking about getting into Bartending, so we found ABC Bartending School. Not only was it’s such an amazing experience, our instructor Alma was hands down one of my favorite teachers for a course ever. Alma was patient and understanding making sure we always were hands on. ABC was a great learning environment and full of other motivated individuals.I highly recommend this school for anyone wanting to learn how to get in Bartending and receive the proper training and information about the industry. This class is a highly recommended for anyone trying to learn something new! Especially since most people drink, I believe it’s a great skill to learn. The classes were very easy to understand and you have plenty of time to study/practice all the materials they give you. The instructors are very friendly and their goal is the same like yours, to pass the class with new skills to show off to your family friends and of course, make money! ✌🏼

This class was great!!! I chose to take the 2 week class to avoid cramming (I recommend the same) and Alexa, the instructor, gave us all the information we needed without pressuring or overwhelming us, all while being entertaining and engaged with the class at all times. She is not only a very experienced bartender but an exceptional instructor as well. I am confident that the knowledge givin to me will help out a ton as I start my career behind the bar. Almus did a great job. Class was fun and informative. The physical plant needs work desperately (floor, etc.). If they could make the physical environment match the high quality instruction and fun, it would be ideal.

Mr Vanc and Almas were the best teachers.I was supposed to finished the course in 2 weeks but because I needed more time Miss Almas told me I could be going to do practice anytime/any day without any extra cost. 👍🏼She was letting me go to do my test a couple days after my course was over and helping me to relax and not get nervous during the test.To pay so low and have that many good things is really worth the money.1. What an amazing experience. My wife and I decided to enroll so that we could learn how to mix drinks. We will be living on a sailboat in the Caribbean in a few months. We thought, “how difficult can it be?” Needless to say, we both have a much better appreciation of how difficult it is to be a bartender now.If it wasn’t for the extremely knowledgeable instructors, the very thorough manual and the facility itself, we would never have made it through. We are both blown away by how many drinks we can make from memory now, our knowledge of beer and wine, and our overall knowledge of the various alcohols out there. We walked through a liquor store the other day and actually knew what everything was that we saw. Don’t get me wrong, there is still a lot to learn, but for us, we can easily serve tropical drinks in our boat now and look like pros!!!

I loved it! Just got done, and Ive learned so much. I mainly had classes with Almas and she is super cool, I lucked out with a chill instructor. I highly recommend going here if you would like to pursue a job in bartending, you wont regret it.-Kaykay.

Sooo much fun. Of course on the first day I had no idea what to expect, but Gabe was great and made it a fun learning experience from day 1. Also, so much hands on experience you leave having the skills that you need for success in the real world. Alexa was amazing, she has so much experience that extends beyond your typical bartender and very personable. The best!

They are very good teachers and patient with their students. They make everyone feel included and make sure they understand the recipe. They don’t make you feel overwhelmed with all the knowledge.

This class was worth every bit of time and money. It was so fun and educational that I didn’t want it to be over . The instructor , Gabe, was extremely well knowledgeable and welcoming . There wasn’t a question I asked that he didn’t have an answer to ! He’s also quite the character and knows word associations to help you retain all the information. 5 stars without a doubt .

This is a great school for helping you get set up behind a bar and get ready to get out there. The drink is a fun experience and the teachers are great! The building is a little rough, but the experience is well worth it.

I experienced ABC bartending school and I recommend it 11/10 times! Almas is by far the best teacher in Vegas to learn from. She has lots of experience and a lot of great techniques to teach beginners how to become bartenders. Overall I had a really great time in this atmosphere and I would do it again in a heart beat. Great School. Extremely Hands-on. Instructor Greg was a Encyclopedia of Knowledge and class times are very flexible to accommodate all students schedules.

AMAZING AND HANDS-ON FUN EXPERIENCE! I had Alexa and Gabe and absolutely loved their fun personalities! You learn a lot about alcohol, not just what goes in what drinks, in what glass, etc., so having the foundation is great. I would HIGHLY suggest taking the two weeks course instead of one, from personal experience—it can get overwhelming if you cram it in one week.

I understand the building is old and it’s a stripmall so to speak but it definitely needs to be upgraded. In this case a new/different location that’s in a better neighborhood if possible. Getting out my car and seeing people who look, if not almost homeless is a little worrisome. But other than that, this class was great, had a great fun time and good learning experience. Alexa and taj were amazing.

They should be expecting this one star. Honestly with communicating with the staff when I rolled into the BARTENDING SCHOOL was amazing. However because how far the school is from me and my work unfortunately I couldn’t go to this BARTENDING SCHOOL. Now which I’m happy I didn’t. With refunding me my full amount. I was misinformed and the communication was terrible. I contacted the school directly to tell them that I couldn’t attend their school. The representative which was a gentleman on the phone explained to me that I needed to email this lady which I did. Never got a response back from her. Then I had to call the school for a second time the gentleman insured me that my refund was processed and should be getting to me within 2 to 5 business days. He explained how she told him she already processed the refund again. I called back after seven business days at least 3 to 4 different times told the same information. Finally I called on the 14th as I keep on calling the guy keeps on and ensuring me that the refund was processed. And I was starting to get a little frustrated that I keep on calling back. I received the email showing me two copies of the payment that I made. I explained my frustrations to the lady that was processing my refund. And when I looked at the receipts I seen that the receipts were just processed yesterday. When I explained my frustrations to her over email instead of taking accountability and telling me they messed up or sorry. She began to tell me that corporate has to process refunds which actually take up to 15 days. Which I know to be misinformed information as well. When I try to look up corporate‘s number it was nowhere in sight. I will not be attending the school. I found amazing Bartending School in Las Vegas on Durango with better views. And there’s no misinforming information. Just with my experience with this I can only imagine how it is attending the school. I’m very respectful and understanding also each time I communicated was professional even when I was explaining my frustrations through email. Asked for corporate‘s number let’s see if I get it. But the whole point to this review is to work on better communication, set right expectations, communicate at a timely manner, and also email back your students regarding to the concerns or issues at a timely manner. I had an incredible experience at this school. The teachers were so friendly and know SO much about bartending!! I didnt expect to gain this much knowledge in such a short amount of time. I immediately found job offers in downtown Portland when I returned home. My other job is actually teaching, so I can attest that the lesson plans used at ABC are constructed to provide in depth and collaborative learning to everyone involved. If you want to work in this industry, look no further.

I have had a pretty amazing career. Being a professional dancer for 15 years has allowed me to live out my passion and it’s taking me all over the world. When Covid hit and all of the entertainment world shut down I found myself struggling with what to do next. I have always loved meeting different people from all my travels, having fun conversations and enjoyed food and drinks from all over. So I thought where can I combine all the things I do enjoy and I thought to myself bartending! Alexa was such an amazing instructor and within the 2 week course I feel well prepared to take on the service industry. They teach you quality service that you will need to know and the fine details that will help you succeed. Thank you ABC for giving me such a great skill to have and a new passion.

From start to finish this course is hands down a must do! Gabe, Alexis and Taj all taught us through the course of 2 weeks and each of them had a lot of knowledge and great tricks of the trade.The location is a little sketch but there is a 7-11 and a Speedy Mart next door to grab some snacks and water during break. There’s ample parking and it’s also tucked away on the 2nd floor so it’s very private.The course itself was challenging yet very insightful on the world of bartending. Great two week crash course class you can take in bartending in the nightlife capital of the world. School was super flexible and can do it all on your own schedule. Just make sure you get Gabe as your instructor since he will make sure you know what you are doing and prep you for a job in the real world of nightlife bottle service and bartending as compared to other schools with other instructors who just want to churn you out as quickly as possible.

This is not a class you can just pay and get a certificate, you actually have to learn what they are teaching! Alexis is very experienced and good at watching where you need help, Chanel is super sweet and breaks things down in a way that makes more sense if you feel lost. They helped us have a wonderful experience and made us feel confident to apply at new jobs after we were laid off from COVID.Please move this location though. I took a two week class and on three separate occasions I literally had to step over homeless people who were asleep on the stairs. As a petite woman, I would not feel safe if I took this class at night.

I had a great experience at ABC Bartending!! I took the night classes with Gabe. He is an Amazing instructor. Learned so much in such a short period of time. Most of the class time was hands on. Constantly making drinks was the best way to do things. Only bad thing about this school was the cleanliness. The supplies were so old and dirty and they smelled. Aside from that though, I would recommend this place to everyone.

I loved my teachers. Gabe and Alma made it very easy and fun. I had a great time and great experience. I just wish this school was in a better neighbourhood. I didn’t feel very safe walking to my car after my class at 10 pm.
