I chose this school because I wanted to go to a school that actually helps students find jobs. They are nationally accredited. I been here so far for 3 weeks and I gotta say I really enjoy my time here. The recruiter is super awesome and supportive and they offer financial aid to students on low income.

I came to the school through the Casino Job Center to learn blackjack for a job lined up after I passed. I came from LA, so I would spend the whole day at two classes from 11am-9pm.There is a curve to learning and you have to practice and study at home, especially if you’re learning the other games and might have trouble with math, but with enough practice you’ll get used to it. I did a total of 35 hours, but that was me practicing.The school has a lot more to offer that I didn’t take, but depending on the day/time it might be really busy so some days you’ll need to either speak up for help. Think of this school like having a “lab” attached to your regular college course. You need to apply yourself and it’s not always going to be interesting, and you’ll learn from the students around you. If you’re going at your own pace, sometimes you’ll have to be patient or try to practice on your own.All in all, the school is what you make of it. There are a lot of very helpful instructors! Some are a bit harder when teaching, but most are gentle when you’re first learning; all of them are trying to help you as long as you also help yourself. Don’t be too hard on yourself, but please remember that the instructors can’t do everything for you.I am only speaking on my experience regarding BLACKJACK for CJC TRAINING; I have not taken the rest of the courses. I started the school recently after moving to Vegas. I wanted to start something new. Everyone has been so helpful from the beginning. Kathy and Rick are amazing. They made the paperwork and financial aid process so easy. The instructors Daniel and Tony have years of valuable knowledge and the hands on training is exactly what I needed. Everyone is very personable and I have felt welcome as a new resident of Las Vegas. I look forward to continuing my journey to becoming a Vegas dealer!

I love going to crescent school. It really is like family here. Any question or concern I have is answered promptly. Black Jack is 6 weeks however within 2 weeks I became very confident in the game. Craps is 7 weeks, by the end of my second week it was just sharpening up my skills in craps. I’m taking all games however I am a person who had no experience playing any table games in the casino. My instructor Daniel is amazing, helpful, patient and his passion game is craps. I am really lucky to learn craps from him. It is a hard game to learn and he made the learning process organized, clean, and professional as he did the black Jack course ..There’s been two auditions for dealers at the school since I’ve been here, one audition was for the Sahara and the other was for another casino. There’s always opportunity for job placement. Rick and Cathy run a fun and knowledgeable business with integrity. I am very happy and confident in my choice to become a dealer thanks to Tony, Rick, Cathy , and Daniel and I get a lot of encouragement and guidance with my instructor as well as other students.

They really made me feel like I was important and gave me confidence that I could have a career in the gaming industry. I have learned so much in the past 5 weeks. When I enrolled at Crescent dealing school, I didn’t have any knowledge how about blackjack, baccarat, roulette. My brain was a white canvas.They taught me step-by-step, how’s everything supposed to work out. They put a lot of patience and effort in the way they teach. The most advanced students are always helping, there’s such a positive vibe and great energies all around the school that makes you very welcomed and present. Every week they have different casinos hiring, Auditions are held at school. They even find you a job! How great is that? I highly recommend Crescent school for anyone that’s passionate and ready to make a positive career change. My only regret…not doing it earlier. Ive been attending this school for the past 2 months to learn poker. The instructor Edward is very professional and patient all while keeping the class fun and entertaining. He was able to teach me and many others in my class enough in a short time to get hired at the WSOP. Highly recommend him. My only criticism is that he needs to be cloned! When new students arrive he gets pulled away too often from the other students who need him to watch them practice for auditions.

My first time learning card games and the teachers are patient, and always willing to help. They care about your success and holds high standards before your job audition. Cathy helped me so much! Mr. Ray took me (Ashley C ) individually and help me learn the process of black jack hands on . Very fast within a week. This is one of the most effective learning environments Ive ever experienced. Military friendly, LGBT+ friendly, multicultural friendly, 420 friendly (for my smokers out there). I’m a VA student. I recently moved to Las Vegas. I had no clue or plan on what I was going to do for work. I have so many skills, licenses, and certificates that needed to be transferred over to the state of Nevada. Since I was being indecisive on my career, I noticed that I have more than a year of school left on my GI Bill. I looked up if the VA would pay for me to become a table dealer. I found this gem while surfing the internet and I submitted an inquiry. Process was smooth and very easy. Bianca knows her stuff and certified my attendance accordingly. What’s cool is that they have different casinos come in to audition the graduating students and offer them jobs. The staff here are very knowledgeable and have the right materials to teach those who doesn’t know how to gamble/deal. I really enjoy the environment here, your peers makes this place a fun and safe place to learn, I like to gamble but hate losing. So why not become a dealer to still play the game and make money simultaneously! LOL

An immersive school with an amazing staff! I attended and graduated two years ago with a job placement on the strip as a break in and a lifetime membership to return and practice! Due to Covid-19, I haven’t been dealing in a couple years but have recently been offered the opportunity to audition in Florida and was feeling a little rusty. I called the school and asked if they would be able to set up a time to video conference and run thru some of the procedures and they made it happen! Forever grateful for the skills and opportunities this program has given me!
