I took the master of beauty and elite course. Great for building a portfolio. I learned so much and was offered many opportunities.

MVA is the best makeup school in LA ❤️

Tal and Michael Vincent are fabulous and the make up designs that you are taught by Tal are innovative and camera ready for any occasion. Whether it be high fashion or the next music superstars videos, photo shoots etc. I highly recommend the Academy and I think its the elite school for students to realize their dreams and also learn with people in the business whom are actually doing the things most young make-up artists aspire to do. I Highly Recommend MVA and would give them 10 Stars if I could.

Most hands on and active school of this type in LA & the country. Go here and you will work hands on professional photoshoots, music videos, and TV shows. Great staff too!

This is a very great place to go to learn about production or hair and make up they are very professional never know who you may work with or who may just drop in celebrity status I know the owners and as long as I’ve known them they’re always completely and totally professional at all times I’ve seen what they do in other schools but Michael Vincent Academy is above all of them because they work with the entertainment industry you have a better chance with them getting the big break than any other school but that’s just my personal opinion and what I seen from other schools.

The affiliate program is really cool, I get to meet amazing people and go on really high profile sets to do makeup and network which is an awesome opportunity. The only thing I don’t enjoy so much about it is that we’re using a lot of our self bought products on these sets, it goes through really quickly and we’re not getting paid to go on these sets to reimburse that. Other than that small thing I love MVA and the affiliate program it’s awesome here!

So much to say about this school. One of the best experiences ever. It’s been a life changing experience, from just starting with makeup to working with top modeling agencies in the world. I’m so happy I discovered MVA. Highly recommended if you’re looking to get your career going!

Truly poor experience when I went to go have a tour of the school. They had me sitting there for an hour. Then when someone did come to give me the tour they were nice and very polite. I was really interested in applying but I couldn’t stay long bc I had a doctors appointment. So I didn’t have time to file the info to apply and the guy swore that he’d call me at 3 pm the next day. Got nothing the next day. Or the next week. Or even the next months. So upset that they would blow off a possible new student like that. But it’s cool I’ll just take me and my money someone else, ain’t going no where people look down on me.

I’ve taken a few classes at MVA and everyone is so welcoming and wants you to succeed. The affiliate program is also a really good way to start your career and gain experience.

Highly recommended! Started with Beauty and got to work on set with film production and celebrities. Not to mention being able to work in a full blown studio. So happy I made the decision to move to LA and join #teammva!

Amazing school! You get to experience photo shoots and how it feels to be on set. And this is just the make up artistry class. I had an amazing instrucucutor that I was honored to work with, Nikki is her.name! She is amazing and will teach you everything you need to know not just to pass the class but what you need to know as a make up artist!

I have done a couple of courses offered here and currently in their affiliate program.This academy is a blessing for people who want to learn the dynamics and art of makeup and how to work on set.A variety of subjects and fields being taught by the people who have experience of decades in the industry . The teachers and administrators are super cooperative. The studio space is amazing and so apt for portfolio building . Not only you get to use it as students but the photographers are none other than celebrity photographers.In their affiliate program they place you on set to gather experience. Because of this academy I have got to work on soo many sets of big celebrities like ozuna,p diddy, dj snake, jon bon jovi, gunna, jhene aiko, tommy lee, Korean boy band BTS ... and many many more.The best of the best key artists to assist and their knowledge for you to learn. Amazing school! I had toured numerous beauty schools around Los Angeles, but the second I walked into Michael Vincent Academy, I knew that this was the right school for my career. The staff makes you feel at home, and they give you tons opportunities to work on set, because they truly WANT you to succeed. As of right now, I have currently finished Beauty Artistry, Hair artistry, airbrush, and the business class, and I plan to take more. My teacher for beauty artistry, Nikki, was absolutely amazing. The staff at MVA have years of experience in the industry, and teach you valuable lessons on everything youll need to know to work on set. I am so greatful for the knowledge and opportunities that this school has given me. If your dream is to work in Hollywood, then this is the school for you.

I love this place. Real time studio and also a hands on make up, hair, and barbershop academy. Students learn hands on while also having the opportunity to experience real life industry events (photoshoots, filming, special events, etc...) with Michael Vincent

I have learned so much here. Everyone has been super nice. The instructors are very experienced and knowledgeable. They give detailed instructions and always answer my questions. Since coming here my makeup skills have vastly improved. As a result I have been doing makeup at local community college Theater in Orange County. MVA has given me a place to start. Thank you!!!

Every teacher is so talanted and offer to help you in any way they can. Very encouraging and motivating. I absouletly LOVE it there! I would recommend this school even if its just for personal growth! You HAVE to check them out! You wont regret it! Im 53 and a hairstylist who owns my own salon not knowing anything about makeup decided to give MVA a try and even after numerous attempts to quit they wouldnt let me. Now, I am a certified Make up Artist!!! Now Im enrolled in the Hair Arteristy class learning braids, up dos etc...LOVE LOVE LOVE everyone here. They truly are your family!!

Great school! I express special gratitude to my teacher Oono- she did not step away from me one step while completing my tasks! I took a makeup course and am now completing a special fx course, it is very interesting! Everything explains, helps! I came from Russia specifically for training and have never regretted it! Also, the school sent me to shoot as an assistant, this is an experience! The school has its own photo studio, where they conduct shooting, including for students work after completing the assignment, all the sources are sent to the post office, which helps the portfolio!
