Casa Chef Apprentice School of the arts was a perfect fit for my culinary endeavor. During the pandemic of 2020, I was faced with an uncertain future as my husbands work in the entertainment industry had closed for the first time in 25 years. I became very concerned with how to help provide for our family as my husband was not working . I found peace and solitude in helping feed others, and decided to create the goal to become a Gourmet Chef and ensure a working position in the future other than being just a home cook. Being placed with a Chef mentor in a professional kitchen was the most exciting part . I learned so much standing beside elite Chefs in Los Angeles. My education facilitator Joslyn was the most wonderful part of this program. She guided me through the process, and was supportive during the hard times, and was so incredible at gently pushing me to complete my goals. Her professionalism was quite amazing, as I am one to go off track occasionally, ( gong through any educational program during a pandemic could be stressful ) Joslyns gentle but firm guidance helped keep me focused. She was able to explain everything in the curriculum clear and understandable. The length of the project was perfect, I was able to complete the program and now have a plethora of amazing information in regards to prepping a budget, menu and of course divine culinary creations. I will miss Joslyn, and hope our paths cross again.

I never feel I focus to get my career so much like I’m on CASA program. Working with professional chefs make me feel I want to be one of them soon. The restaurant teach you everything you want to know as real. I been in the kitchen for couple events about 300-800 people working next to head chefs. That power me so much. I been do everything in the book said. The restaurant I internship with, they are very nice they call as family. Great team work! Full responsibility on your task. Teach me to be alert all the times what chefs have to say. I much say this program is very good for someone like me... I not have any experience or culinary degree at all. But I had background from home cooking and food products. I did my course completely finished early . I spent 10-12 hours per week to restaurant and I will finish in couple months. I got great opportunity the restaurant hiring me for part time for prepping and helping when they have events. Eventually they busy everyday.Good luck finding yourselfPatcharida

Chefs Peter and Stephanie know what they are doing and do it well. The influences are global but the cooking is underpinned by a mastery of technique. An experience that is lively, intimate and playful.

3 years ago I graduated from high school. I tried to find culinary schools, but none really took my fancy. I was about to take a job at Chipotle, until I found this school. They put me side by side with a real chef. A couple years later, I found myself in a 4 star Italian restaurant, which was a fun experience too. The chef was nice, the experience was nice, which leads myself to a positive review. Definitely check this school out!
