My rating is biased. I went to this elementary. I remember Miss DeVore and her mother, Mrs. Fox, Mr. Wong, leslie one of the playground supervisors, joe the janitor, the librarian, and 2 more teachers. And when mariah carey came lol.Thanks to the programs I was able to learn a lot at a very young age. At that time, both parents were immigrants and working fulltime. I loved going to this school. I told my parents everything I had learned. I remember the field trips, special guests, and events hosted. Infact, when volunteers of heal the bay came to educate us about pollution that lit a spark in me.It grew when the class went on a field trip to see a film about a boy and an elephant. It grew when they read to us about trees that were big as skyscrapers. It grew when they brought wild animals I had only seen on tv. It grew when we visited the getty mueseum and la phil harmonic.I learned there is more out there and became concious of the world. In all honesty, my education went downhill when I left this school. No other school was as enriching or interactive. As years progressed I had forgotten and that spark sufficated.It all came back to me the last semester of community college. Now Im finally on my way to fulfill that goal. I hope one day I could provoke a spark in someone too.

This school rocks! The teachers, students and staff are very nice. The teachers are polite to the kids and teaches them wrong from right and put them in the right direction for the future. A good friendly environment for the kids to be more excited about learning at school. My daughter says nothing but good things about her experience at Canfield Elementary School. Top notch and caring school staff, educators, star program, Friends of Canfield, and involved community makes for a safe and perhaps (sadly) above average public school experience. Thrilled with the diversity and sheer joy of the students.

I went to this school for 1st through 3ed and now I am in 4th and this is a very good school for kids.👍👍👍👍👍. They teach us new skills and by that I mean things to do and learn. Now I am going to a new school I will never forget about canfield because it is a good school.

Its a nice school but when i grow up i am still not gonna let my kids go there i love the teachers well some of them and tbh the princibal is a (fdh) how about you figur it out
