This school is worth every penny, and every minute of the day spent. i will definitely be coming back for more to keep learning and growing as a producer. if your looking for great teachers and a great community, then this is the place for you.

I just graduated from the 6 month flagship program and I am so grateful for beatlab! The beatlab fam is knowledgeable, experienced and adaptive! We went in for in person classes when it was possible and moved online when the surge in the virus was at it’s highest. Either way the learning experience was never compromised! If you’re thinking about furthering your ableton/producing skills or getting started...this is the place to go! Yeuda is the man!

Great program, worth every penny. Lots of equipment & time available to use one of the 2 main studios. The teachers help you formulate your artistic persona along with give you all the advanced skills, theory, insider tips, and discounts to succeed in any music scene you choose. Very laid back, yet professional staff. Fun people take the course and you’ll meet some awesome new friends. A nice balance between freedom to explore what you want and guidance with projects for accountability. Tons of useful feedback on all your projects.

The education was second to none, taught by industry professionals who have an amazing grasp of the concepts they teach. The staff is very friendly, personable, and willing to be friends with anyone who walks through the doors.What cant be understated is the community and culture that is Beat Lab. I have made countless friends, peers, and collaborators during my time at Beat Lab. The doors are always open for students and alumni, and there is not a friendlier group of people in Los Angeles.

I took the Certification course in 2017 and absolutely loved it! I was only just getting started in music production and Beat Lab really helped me learn an excellent foundation in Ableton. Its a very affordable 6 month program.But what I really love most about the place is how close the community is. Even after finishing the certification program I still go back there regularly to to use the recording studio and collaborate with fellow alumni. 100% recommend if youre trying to get started in Music Production.

The music production class at Beat Lab was an awesome experience and provides a super solid foundation in music production. Yeuda and Mike are both incredible teachers and the environment is collaborative, fun, and inspiring. I couldnt recommend this place more! The class helped me get out of a major creative rut and on to writing a ton of music!

I cant speak highly enough about Beat Lab!!!! I never made a beat in my life before I started the certification program, but with the help of beatlab, I dove right in! I ended up finishing the entire course and couldnt be happier with the progress I made! Yeuda, Mike, Freddy and the entire staff are beyond the best! They all have the rare gift of being able to make dope, progressive music and also teach their methods to beginners and pros alike! The kicker is, the support of the beat lab community continues long after the courses are over as well! I feel like I made lifelong friends and colleagues through my experience here! If I could give beatlab one hundred stars, I would! Im not even kidding!

Finished their 16-week Beat Lab Certification Program online back in Dec 16. It was great to have an online instructor that was well versed in Ableton Live, music theory, and one that also works in the music business. I seriously feel that I gained much more information about Ableton Live and the music business if I were to learn it on my own. Definitely, a place to go and youll always have a family there.

I went to Beat Lab because I felt like I was spending all my time watching endless online tutorials instead of creating. The intensive program provided a space to ask questions whenever I came upon a road block with the software, or with production in general. Being surrounded by teachers who use Ableton professionally, as well as other students eager and willing to take their skills to the next level, gave me the push and confidence I needed to take my craft seriously. I think one of the most exciting things right now is watching other students I graduated with making moves and releasing projects, even those who were beginners when we started. You will get out whatever you put in at Beat Lab, so come ready and willing to put in the time and you’ll amaze yourself. #beatlabfamforlife :D

Friendly Community where knowledge of electronic music making is taught and exchanged. Great place to meet people from all over the world as well, and the opportunity to learn from different amazing musicians such as Mike and Yeuda himself.

I took the complete certification course (levels 1-4) and couldnt be more satisfied. If you want to learn Ableton Live then sign up immediately. If you want to learn music production and join a community that will support you after you graduate then sign up yesterday.

Im not the greatest with words but here goes.BeatLabs really the best school Ive been to. I put school in quotes because it doesnt even feel like it. Yes you learn a ton (Mastering Ableton, Mixing, Songwriting, Theory, Sound Design, etc) and just how to make good music in general.But it really feels like a family here. Everyone here has ambition & drive and its constantly super inspiring. Every time i walk in here i instantly wanna pop open my laptop and get to work.And when Im feeling down on my music or feeling demotivated in general, I know theres my homies here are BeatLab willing to help/collaborate/hear my frustrations. And I always try to be there for my friends when theyre going through that slump too (which will inevitably happen from time to time).What Im trying to say is its really a special place here, the community here is just the best.And dont even get me started about the instructors here. I could write another 5 paragraphs on that haha. Just come sit in on one of the classes and youll see :)

Beat Lab Academy is a super well-rounded music production school that teaches you the ins and outs of using Ableton, but also how to apply the program in a performance setting and easily grasp onto music theory tricks and techniques.I cant stress enough how much ive grown as a producer and all around artist since i took the certification course at this academy. Highly recommend their program and all other classes they offer.Yeuda and Mike are exceptional professors invested in your education as a producer; absolute support all around not to mention the family feel and the continued opportunities this community has to offer.Come here and be ready for your expectations to be surpassed!! Im extremely happy to have taken courses at Beat Lab Academy. Ive visited, and done courses at other schools in LA, but Beat Lab stands out not only for the quality of the teachers (led by Ableton Certified expert instructor Yeuda, the founder of the school, and Mark Parvizi, co-founder of Team Supreme), but also for the genuine care they show, for the student community that they have built.Yeuda is truly inspirational as the schools founder. His passion for, and skill in teaching, is immediately felt upon meeting him. Watching him navigate the Ableton environment with speed and ease, to create almost any sound you can imagine, while explaining his motions with flawless and incisive clarity, is breathtaking. The Beat Lab front-office team (Larry, Freddy, and Mikey) is friendly and approachable, and have been instrumental in creating an environment that is incredibly positive, interactive and supportive.The course material is efficiently structured, logically sequenced, very interactive, and delivered in a way that encourages students to push the limits of their creativity, as well as adopt the technical aspects of Ableton in way that is highly applicable to professional work and live performance.There is a wealth of student events (also providing students with opportunities to perform), and workshops from industry experts. The school itself is an excellent facility, with both studio space and live instruments available for students to use as they need.The curriculum is also always evolving and adapting to the needs of students and the industry, with additional interesting and valuable courses having been added over time as the need has arisen, and more courses being added in the near future.I feel blessed to have found this school. I have gained so much from coming here.
