Too many cons for this place to have 5 stars. I went there tonight at 8:46pm to find out that the doors were locked...when this place was supposed to be closed at 9:00pm, 4 stars aint gonna happen. When I do get around to get inside, the first thing I see are half-empty isles. Three stars? Nope. Its rare that this location stocks all the isles neatly and has the store clean. Two star rating is down the drain. Well, Theres one star left, so theres no more reason for me to complain.Dollar Tree ownership, you need to get up off of the couch at home and whip this place into shape or close this location...and bankrupt your company. Period!And yes, I come here all the time so the staff knows me, but do I care? Nope. Will I keep my kool if this post is brought up by the staff? I sure hope so... It depends on the nature of which its brought up.

This may be my favorite store. Ive been shopping here almost every day for 2 years.It’s hard to decide what I like best about the store. The employees or the bargains.I love shopping for a bargain. Some stores use loss-leaders to get people in the door in hopes the shopper will also purchase the items that are overpriced. Not me! I shop and cherry pick at every store in the neighborhood buying only the few bargain items at each store.Though you will find the most bargains at Dollar Tree, the employees are the best reason to shop here. The group of employees are the most friendly, efficient, and hard working group of people I have ever had the pleasure to know. Nicole & Ruben are especially wonderful. I know their names because they are bright, outgoing people who are eager to help.Kee up the great work Dollar Tree! See you tomorrow!

The manager, Ruben has really turned this place around. Its chock full of food again and they have awesome Halloween decorations, too. And since its Dollar tree, everything truly is just a dollar. Loss of great finds in their crafts section as well as school and teacher supplies. Friendly staff, too!

Huuuuum... on google maps it says that this location opens t 8am, I left in just enough time to take the Hollywood Dash and arrive at 8:30. I arrive too see the store hrs say 9am. I sure hope there’s a good selection to make up for the 1/2 hr wait during California’s brisk mornings

Free parking, easy in and out and they are socially distancing so I feel safe shopping there and while initially low on supplies at the beginning of the covid theyre pretty well-stocked now. You cant beat the prices and if you want to avoid big crowds in supermarkets its worth popping in to grab a few things. The staff is always friendly and helpful if youre looking for something and you cant beat the damn price right? Stay safe everyone and wear a mask!

Here at 8:30pm and the store is closed, NOT ok. Also saw other people parking and walking up very unhappy. The company needs to change its hours for this store online and on its website. Very unprofessional.

The store is always a mess, the store has a really big homeless problem. The manager wont kick a homeless person out, he just lets them stay in the store. During this pandemic, nothing is sanitized, there is no limit to how may people could be in the store, the employees dont enforce social distance or face mask requirements. The products arent that great I honestly prefer to go to Daiso, they have higher quality products and they actually enforce covid regulations and the store is always clean and no homeless people! choose Daiso over dollar tree!

*** permanently closing***I went in yesterday for sponges and ended up buying stuff I didnt need just yet, but can only get good prices on there. It is closing. Isles are bare. A clerk said it will be gone before Christmas.So my rating here and is for the store before it was closing. Terrible parking situation. Great place for cleaning supplies on the cheap, cards and toys you plan on turning into Sci-Fi movie props and holiday decorations you have no intention on keeping for the next year. Nothing is of quality of course but you know that going in.The people who work there are nice and endlessly patient with the sticky fingered and the raving drug addicts who wonder in. Sometimes it gets scary shopping there because random fist fights and shouting matches would break out. The store really needed to hire a security guard. But you cant hire a security guard for 99 cents LOL.Anyway, I dont think its the stores fault necessarily; its just a popular area for the disenfranchised. Theres a mental hospital right next door and several places around that help homeless people get jobs and other help, so the area is just flooded with homeless people and the people who pray on them. LA City needs a better solution for the homeless. A real solution.I cant imagine anything that would go there in its place. Its a very rough neighborhood and a downright dangerous place to open a business.Ill miss you, Dollar Tree. Sad to see you go. It was really nice to be able to walk from my apartment and get something fast and cheap. In a way, shopping at the Dollar Tree made me feel part of community. We in Hollywood pay a lot of money to live in trash. Something normal like buying sponges for 99 cents made it a little bit better.

It is closed down! Not temporarily closed. I walked up there December 13, 2020. I walked up to the door. There was nothing on the shelves that were still standing. Empty retail space. There was one person in there sweeping. The sign in the parking lot. The Dollar Tree sign is not there anymore. There is only the Goodwill Sign existing. The retail business is gone. Closed forever. Not temporarily closed. My neighbor said that it closed 2 weeks ago. I was surprised.

They dont know why they dont have candy.

Smart place to shop for certain items even if you do have barrels full of cash.

A lot of homeless out front, otherwise its well stocked and has everything you need.

So I went to this place just this week. First let me say the good then the bad. I gave 3 stars mostly earned because the lovely manger or assistant manger Mary was so nice! Very friendly, and very quick to be helpful to the cashiers. So glad she was here because otherwise I would have been in line for an hour. Now the bad. The other day I went and a different worker was there stocking. Upon arrival I had a question about the candy and this worker , Patrick, said “we will get some when we get some.” Then proceeds to stop his stocking and go help some “pretty” girl. Literally as i was talking to him. Disgusting, rude, and unprofessional. Then I come to find out that he is a manager? What a joke.

A bit untidy, but understandable. I found most of what I wanted. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Store is pretty disorganized, especially the stationary section and though the store was empty except for maybe a couple of people, there were only two carts available.The brightest spot in the store is Juanita, the cashier. She is always friendly, personable and willing to help. She brightens customers’ day and would be greatly missed if not there.

The staff is usually very pleasant.The 3 stars is due to store hours of this location changing and no one bothered to UPDATE THIS APP. I arrived at 8:05pm to buy toilet paper. Had I KNOWN, then I would have arranged my errands differently and arrived soo er or simply bought it at Office Depot ... while I was there.

There is always only one cashier and the line is super long with like 10+ customers waiting. The items at the dollar tree are good but the employees at this specific location are not. Not only is the line big but the customer service is bad as well. The only cashier that was open was a lady but even while seeing the big line she was still using her cellphone while attending customers.

This Store always has a variety of great products. The store clean and the staff is decent. Ive never had a problem here. Keep up the good work!

I feel sorry for this store with prices going up every were this store keep people who dont have a lot of money above water because every body and there mother is steeling as much as they can get Im no body to talk about other because Decades ago I did the same thing but now I realize that this is not the right way , I talked to the management two day ago and he said there losing over a hundred thousand a year I wish I could do something before people in the neighborhood end up in the street because of rising prices in all store the staff and mangers are really nice its only one Dollar for any item in the store.

This place makes me nuts. Never enough people working there and always crowded. Some things are def good buys though.

Ive been here several times now and the service is ALWAYS terrible, especially at closing. There was only one person working at the register (slowly) while two other employees stood behind the registers glaring at the people in the extremely long line.Also, they closed the store early. It closes at 9pm, and at 8:40 a young woman went on the intercom and said, Attention, you got 7 minutes until we close. Just like that. Maybe closing a little early doesnt seem like a big deal, but it shows how lazy and self-centered the staff are.Im consistantly disgusted by the lack of courtesy here.

Its a good Dollar Tree. Just keep in mind there is a lot of homeless people around it and in front of the store. That would be considered the only downfall to this location.Would be a solid 5 if that could be avoided.

Not in the best neighborhood. The store was a mess but if you have time to sift, there can be good finds. I came here to get items to keep my kids busy on the airplane. Things like stickers, activity books, toy soldiers, crafts and so on were a great find at a great price.

Everything is well organized. It didnt take me long to find what I was looking for. Frendly chachiers, if you cant find something that youre looking for or you just want to go to the aisle where the item is , just ask the cashiers and they will happily help you and tell you where the item is. I love shopping at THE DOLLAR STORE!

Great clean Dollar Tree store. Well stocked. Parking can be tricky in the afternoon, but in the morning there is enough space.

Current selection a little limited but store is conveniently located and parking available, which is usually scarce in Hollywood.

I like the store, wish you had more foodstuffs. Also there is one employee who has selective memory plus hearing problems. He only helped me find one isle where they might/maybe have what I was looking for, he couldnt hear me when I asked him where I might find another item I wanted to buy. Its a dollar store, dont expect too much. I like that they accept Amex though. They have some brand names there and greeting card selection isnt bad.

Unfriendly and not very helpful staff. Good stock though. Lots of homeless in the area. Front of store in parking lot is dirty. I asked an employee if there was poster board. He said no. It was in few steps away in the aisle I was in and there was tons of it.

Staff is so very rude to you, I had the worst cashier who got very unkind and rude and impatient and it is not the first time this happens to me at this dollar store location. Nobody seems to enforce customer kindness here. Nobody cares. The people who work here have terrible attitudes, but I come here cause it is convenient and close to me, staff is terrible, maybe I will just stop coming here.

This store is never open when theyre supposed to be. Im making a suggestion to the hours on google so more people dont waste time like I did.

William closes the store anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes earlier than 9pm which is according to him closing time. They do not close at 10pm like Google says. I got there before 9pm but he didnt let me in. When I said I leave home for work at 7am and just came back he had the tell me Oh theres always time. Really dude? Awful. He stands by the doors and block them doesnt let anyone in 15 to 30 minutes ahead of closing time. People are turned away massively. Whos gonna refund the customers for wasted gas or bus fare and time?

The only reason why i am giving this place an extra stat is because the staff is polite. But the reason why its geting this is mainly because of the safety issue. Its so ghetto and there is no security.

Business Hour posted as opening at 8am, store was still closed at 8:30 when eventually an employee popped their head outside to announce their system was down.Management should have announced this prior to opening hours as there was a large group of customers waiting to shop or at least posted a sign to let customers know what the situation was.

It seems the quality of these stores vary by neighborhood. Outside is unappealing and inside some sections were stacked with boxes. Seemed to be stock work not done. Product choice not as good as before. Empty shelves.

Horrible first time experience...Hardly any product was in the store and the employees were not present/ or available to answer questions about where to find products.There was a dedicated parking lot that is shared with a Goodwill store.

I really like the Dollar Tree franchise, but this Dollar Tree has been a little messy on just about every visit that Ive made to this store. But it still gets the job done with a wide variety of things to choose from.

There customer service is only ok but its dollar tree. I asked if they had gym looks the people say they didnt have any like they were out. I asked again and got the same answer. Inorder to find out I had to ask if they were no longer carrying them instead of just being told. Hopefully there staff went to college but doesnt seem like it. You should remember thst even though its a dollar the person is still a customer.

This Dollar Tree location is a bit rough to say the least. Their selection of stuff is typical of most stores. The reason this place is rough is because of its location near Goodwill and proximity to Hollywood. The parking lot they share with Goodwill is filled with sketchy people and tents. It feels somewhat unsafe and dirty.

They dont carry many options..99cent store is still better..plus they have moody employees..dont feel welcomed at all.Omg and youll most likely see some one stealing not kool..its easy because no staff members walk around..its just not a kid friendly place sorry but true.
