I walked in ask if I could use the restroom (keep in mind I was making a purchase), girl up front let me know it was closed but in 15 minutes it would be opened since it was being cleaned. No problem , decided to look around for my items to pass the time. Once I was ready to pay decided to go up to the register. I finished my transaction , asked the girl if the restroom was ready? She said yes. Walked to the back and restroom was closed and locked. Walked up to register once again, let the girl know. She told I guess whoever was above her. That woman said oh well they were just cleaned/mopped so you have to go next door to Starbucks. Like what? I just waited to use the restroom you said was being cleaned for me to use… and now I can’t use it Bc it was just cleaned? No, communication whatsoever, terrible manager (I’m assuming). They lacked customer service overall.

Yesterday around 730 i visited this store seeking a ream of laser paper.I asked one of the females on duty for help on finding the correct weight that i used previously. The lady was disinterested in helping me; i had a piece of the paper i was looking for but had trouble finding it. The paper i purchased was of course not correct now i have to go and return this. This is what i get trying to support a brick n mortar store; no wonder they are dying. Next time i will order from your competitors online.

This location is terrible, and the shipping/printing department has absolutely no idea what’s going on. Something is always wrong. I’m standing here right now to ship a single package, and there are 3 staff that can’t figure out the computer password to get it done. Don’t go here unless you’re just buying something and leaving. Totally incompetent, and that’s why it’s always empty.

A hidden gem in Little Tokyo. I was able to purchase a side/messenger bag to carry my resume for an interview. Little did I know I would be getting a desk and chair for my home office from here as well. When you shop for certain items you may look online as to the availability online or in store. That is a helpful feature. I was able to find surge protectors for the electronic items at home. With the new pc purchased(elsewhere) I was able to use the surge protector, desk, and chair right away. Two day delivery was quick and efficient. The delivery personal were nice enough to bring items inside the house, making it easy on my wife to accept items.I was able to complete the chair and table after a couple of smashed and cut fingers, Lol. Dont worry, it was my fault not the items. I wanted to finish already.Thank you. God bless you.

The staff make this place work. There are some many different types of products inside, best policy is to ask for help from the get go. Staff is knowledgeable & not hesitant to reach out to other staff if questions are beyond their expertise. Negative: Parking lot is small, regulated by attendant & requires validation.

Well they carry a fair selection of items, but are lacking in others. Policy seems to be immediately up selling instead of getting or providing what is needed. This is the second time that they treat me very poorly. The first time I ordered a desk online and when I stood in line to pick it up They ignored me because I just walked in and stood in front waiting for someone to help me. When I finally was asked if I needed assistance I told them why I was there and they took forever to get the item. Finally when they found it they asked if I needed assistance with carrying and I asked them for a dolly or something as it was very heavy. It took forever for them to get it to my vehicle with a dolly. Today as I looked for a proper self adhesive product they treated me as if I was trying to steal something and when I went to the cashier to pay for something else since I couldnt find what I was looking for they sent someone to the area I was at to see if there was something missing or out of order. Very very bad service.

I needed to print something off of my e-mail and walked in here thinking they provided that service in a private work area; they did not. I was walking out requesting for validation- I was in there for less than 1 minute.Their manager and staff required me to undertake the transaction or they will not validate my parking ticket and I would have to pay the parking fee. They first wanted me to e-mail my document to their e-mail to print for me, I did not want to do that because that document contained my personal info-I explained this, but the PARKING was more important to them, so be it.As I was using their computer on the service counter facing the customers waiting in line, everyone were looking into my info as I was printing my document. The manager and staff did not care but were kinda smiling about me printing and paying something. They thought they successfully intercepted an intentional parking abuser. They did not believe me even after my explanation. So I undertook the transaction.A 33 cents transaction for the last time in my life at this location. We used to like this place because my wife works near by and we bought many things for many years-we have 3 kids in Jr High and High Schools. This location is convenient for us because She can buy school/home admin supplies on her way home after work and/or I can buy things while waiting to pick her up. People do these things you know.I can see how the parking could be a issue for them but the whole process was based on, if you park you must pay, kinda mentality. It was completely unprofessional. We will never, ever come here again and will tell everyone the same.Go across the street to Kinkos. Folks there respect your privacy.

I explained I could order a drive online myself. I asked her if there was another location that had the drive that I needed. She said I should try Little Tokyo location. Went to this location. Found six empty boxes on the shelf for an even larger 8 terabyte. Brought the box to the cashier and she said let me check, I dont think we have this drive. Of course they didnt have the drive. I guess theres no such thing as REAL customer service anymore. Although each person who walks into the store is acknowledged by an employee yelling out, welcome to Office Depot. One can readily infer their disinterest by the manner its said. When I went in this location in Little Tokyo I had questions about a few items, so I found a store employee who was on his phone texting. I said hi, I need some help with.... Without looking up from his phone he led me to the item I was inquiring about. He continued texting as I asked him questions. He seemed like a nice enough but....hmmm.... could you give me a minute and take a pause from your texting? I got my item, thanked him and browsed the store a bit then went to the register to pay. There were 4 employees huddled by one register. None of which acknowledged me until they were finished with whatever they were talking about. 3 left and one remained and began ringing up my items, never once looking at me. After he rung me up and I paid he said something (I couldnt figure out what). It seemed like a prepared speech of some sort. He said it so quickly I couldnt catch hardly any of it. I asked him to repeat it because I missed it because he spoke so fast. Still never looking at me but rather facing the register looking off into the distance so that I am looking at the right side of his face, he repeats it again just as fast. I again didnt get most of what he said but I decided I didnt care. I just said thank you. and took my receipt and put in my pocket. He just stood there and I stood there for a couple of seconds. Then he looked at me as if to say we are done you can go. I asked can you put my items in a bag please. He said we dont have any. Would have been nice of him to say something rather as a courtesy like Im afraid we dont have any bags right. I asked, does Home Depot no longer provide bags or are you out of them. He said they were out. Ugh! I live about 10 blocks away so I had decided to walk. I was left to carry all my items (some of them big and awkward shaped) home in my arms.
