I do not recommend the school to anyone. I did not take the certified medical assistant exam right away and when I call them to ask them about it they said it was too late and I would not be able to take the exam. This is in fact not true. I found out I have 60 months from the time of graduation to take the exam. I misplaced my diploma and in order to get it they required me to come in in person and pay in cash and then return to pick it up. I need this diploma in order to sit for the exam and I work Monday through Friday 8 to 5. They are completely unwilling to work with me or help me. This is unlike many of the other schools available. I was very young and had no guidance at the time and will never recommend the school ever to anybody.

Very excellent Training Center I recommend it to any one who is looking for a short term career, all you need to do take it serious and be committed 7 months you will have it done in no time. Good thing also they help you with a job when you complete. Take advantage of this excellent opportinty.

Avoid this school like the plague! Even the guywho owns the liquor store down the street told me to get a refund and just go to LA trade tech. The instructors dont even know how to give a proper lecture and are very rude especially Mr.Jakeyl (Or however you spell his name, hopefully he doesnt work there anymore because he was also horrible at giving lectures) The only instructor who seemed like he knew what he was doing was Mr.Runas, Hopefully he realised how awful this school is and leave so that he can go lecture at a REAL college. DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL, ITS A SCAM!

The teachers here are amazing and know what theyre teaching. Im happy to have found this school. The programs they offer give you options and different schedules to work with your schedule. I was racially discriminated against, and kicked out of class for asking for help on the home work and asking the teacher to look me in the eye while he explained. Terminated By the director with ever meeting with the person on the issue.

First off i just want to say Dr. Eric is one of the best teachers I could have ever asked for! If it werent for him I would not be where I am today. I started school in Feb 17 and finished Oct 17 it took me a month longer to finish but thats only because I was sent to start early on my 160 hours of training! Im now happily employed by two brilliant beautiful Dermatologists in the gorgeous city of Santa Monica. I received an excellent education provided by four amazing Doctors here at ATC. Dr. Meza where I learned a few basics before really digging deep into medical assisting. Dr Eric, who actually suggested I be sent out to work early, taught me all there is to know about Dermatology, Pharmacology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, you name it! Im so grateful to have had such a strict, professional, patient professor; thank you Dr. Eric! My most favorite doctor couple, Dr. Tamar and Dr. Vahik who taught me all there is to know about ECG and the anatomy of the heart. They were my final two teachers and I can confidently say they shaped me into the helpful, detail oriented and knowledgeable M.A. that I am today. Both methods of teaching used by Dr. Tamar and Dr. Vahik helped me memorize medical abbreviations as well as train me on asepsis and patient bedside manner. I miss being at ATC, the diversity was impeccable and about 70% of students are welcoming and friendly. All staff who provided assistance throughout my 7 month course deserves an enormous thank you!! Chris, Kenya, Jessica, Ilse, Mike, Oliver, Natalie, the list could go on, but I just really appreciate all your hard work and dedication; I couldnt have done it without you all. ATC, you guys rock!!

What makes this school great is the Job Placement Assistant Advisor Christopher Aono, hes a very Optimistic Guy full of energy always ready to help the Students. Although I only met Mr. Aono for only a month he has been very helpful for placing me in a clinic to do my Externship. From all the other staff he really reaches out from the rest by keeping in contact asking me how am doing at the clinic. Also he has a good Vibe that brings to the school and for him to be the First person to say congratulations to me for graduating and to say that hes proud of me for completing my hours and getting hired is overall great. I enjoyed going to ATC and Dr. Eric was a strict teacher but I am grateful for what he has taught me. Dr. Vanik the CT teacher was great. The staff at ATC was great I love the librarian who use to be the financial aid representative. Becoming a medical assistant was the best career choice I have made, for some the journey afterwards will not be easy but remember the job coordinator can give you the leads but its up to you to sell yourself and skills. If you are not sure of yourself volunteer more at the county hospitals and always study. Learn more about insurance and become knowledgeable about whats going on in the medical field. When getting a job become difficult for you step back and evaluate yourself. Christine Preciado the job coordinator has been their for me every step of the way and anything i need she is there to assist me. I statred working right after my internship and the qualities that made me stand out from the rest is the passion i have and the care i give to each individual. Always remember that the medical field for health care providers is to help others in their time of need. God bless those who chose to take this journey and if you focus and have the best intentions you will succeed.

When I started the program in 99 I was told I could come back to get retrained again for free. I went and I was told oh sorry we dont do that anymore. Bad liers

Stay away from this school! I caught Mr. Runas erasing test questions and filling them in with another answer. They hired a new teacher that worked for the accreditation company that is accrediting this school. Some thing weird is going on. beware!!!
