My kids have been at Tiny Tots for two in a half years and they love it. The teachers truly care about the kids and even treat them as their own! My son was ready for Kindergarten at the age of 4! The Director and Assistant Director are great to work with. I have never had any issue that wasnt resolved gracefully. Love this place! I wouldnt go anywhere else!

My son absolutely LOVED Tiny Tots, and came home every day in a happy mood and always wanted to go in the mornings. I never had to worry about him because I knew they were taking good care of him. They were attentive, thoughtful and easy to contact at any time.

My daughter is always so excited to go here every morning. She has a great teacher who is attentive and very passionate about what she does. Ms. Tabitha does a great job with giving me a detailed rundown of my daughter’s day. The staff does a lot of stimulating activities with the children and I feel like she has learned so much. I really like the staff here. They are really on top of things.

I had some concerns and I was able to discuss them the same day with the owner. It isnt often that I feel anything needs to be addressed and the teachers are always helpful as they can be. He and his wife are very responsive and active with the program as well. My concern was validated and addressed and a resolution reached all within a couple minutes. How many programs can say they can speak directly with the owners whenever they have concerns?

Tiny Tot has taken great care of my children. The oldest was well prepared to start Kindergarten in a Private school, and the youngest is well loved, by all his teachers. They had no problem learning to use cloth diapers to help this mamma stay earth friendly. All in all my boys both loved their time there.

Both of my children attend Tiny Tots and have been here since 2015. The teachers have done a great job at teaching my children and treat them as if they are their own. My kids are always excited to come to school in the morning as they call it. I would highly recommend this daycare.

The staff treat my 19 month old son, as though he was their own. He loves it there, especially being able to play with the bigger kids in the morning and afternoon. My son is happy after his day there, and hes worn out from all the fun he has. We really could not have found a better fit for him.

My son has been there for over a year. He loves his teachers and friends at Tiny Tots. They do a great job. My son still lights up every time he sees the teacher that he had until he turned 1. The staff have been great at communicating with us every time he is sick or falls down and gets a bruise.Update: my son went to Tiny Tots from 12 weeks until he started Kindergarten. He still goes there in the mornings to catch the bus. He loved Tiny Tots and now he loves Kindergarten. His teacher told us today that hes the first in her 5 years of teaching Kindergarten to get a perfect score on his Brigance(kindergarten readiness) test. While we have obviously worked with our son at home, this speaks to the quality of learning happening at Tiny Tots.

On Friday December 18, 2015, my daughter was picked up from day care and her mother was told she had a accident. She had urinated on her self and had a different set of clothes on. When she got in the car she told her mother she had a accident during the day and that her socks was wet. When she got home, her mother took off her clothes to check her, she smelled completely of urine and her replacement panties were soiled with fresh urine but not wet, meaning no one took her to the bathroom after she was changed and watched her wipe. Her socks were still completely soaked to the point that her suede boots were soaked in the inside. So her mother checked the bag with the wet clothes she had on and they were completely soaked with urine, and had not been rinsed out. So how can you change my daughter and not check her socks and make her walk around in wet socks and boots all afternoon? Now I remind you the regular teacher was not there this day, which the problem is every time she is out, goes to lunch or take a break is when something happens to my daughter, from having her face bitten with a permanent mark by another student, to coming home with busted lips, rug burns and bruises that has not been documented most of the time until we complain or having a hair full of sand. So I emailed the owner and told him I wanted to meet with him in reference to my daughter. He told me to see the director first. I told him we have already visited this issue before and it would be best if we all meet so we can try and solve this issue. I also ccd my attorney at the bottom who is not involved, but I sometimes ask for advice as a friend. When we got there with my daughters mother, he has his director, assistant director in the meeting. Things are going pretty well and we talk about what I am there to discuss, my daughter as indicated in the email. Theres a little attitude in the air but not much. So at the closing of the meeting, he says he has something he needs to discuss and brings out this paper filled with agreements. He had a problem with me cc my attorney and felt that I was threatening him with legal actions. I informed him that not one time did I mention legal actions and its my constitutional rights to put any thing I want as long as Im not threaten him or mentioning anything legal. He then goes on and tells me I have to take my daughter out if I do not sign this paper saying I am not contacting a attorney. I got up and said I leaving and told him to deal with my daughters mother because he would not like to hear what I am about to say. So I leave for a few minutes to calm down and come back in. Then his little young director got involved while me and him was going at it again and I had to tell him to control her while two men are talking. If I am talking to the owner, why is she repeating everything he is saying like I am some type of idiot. Well to make a long story short, BEING LESS THAN A MAN he kicks us out of day care, I had to get my daughter who was sleep and get all of her belongings. His exact words was get your daughter and leave. My problem is if as a man, me and you have a disagreement then me and you should handle it as men. Not to give a two week notice or even a one week notice shows you are a stone-cold, heartless coward of a man. You do not care about your clients and your only concern is how much money your center can make. This was demonstrated by the memo distributed about late fees, and you preaching not given two week notices. My daughter or my daughters mother had nothing to do with it. For you to put her out shows how less of a man you are. You could have barred me from coming or asked me to leave. I could care less about coming on that property. The only reason why we did not leave the second week is because of Ms.Darlene and my daughter loves her. We stuck in there despite how poorly your center is being ran from day one. Like I told you, if you had of stood up like a man and put your director in her place, I would not had to.You have to answer to God for your punishment..

The lack of professionalism and compassion by the owners is unmatched. My 3-year-old always shut down when I would drop him off. He would freeze and hold his head down. The owner had a conversation with me explaining that he needed smaller class sizes. I explained to her that we were waiting for an evaluation appointment. She requested that I keep her updated. 1 week later she personally handed me his daily sheet mixed up with a letter, instead of having a conversation with me while her and her husband were both present. The letter notified me that they would no longer be caring for him after 2 weeks. I found him a new school with the same ratios and took him for a trial day. It was like a new kid. He was smiling, jumping around and excited for this new school. The teachers said he was excellent all day. Afterwards he told me how great it was which is a HUGE improvement from him shutting down when I would ask him about Tiny Tot. I told him he had to go back to his old school one more day and he said, “Mommy, I am scared of my old school.” I obviously did not take him back again. In retrospect I should have pulled him out much sooner: He came home with a very large knot and a scratch on his face within a 2-week span with no one able to explain what happened. Multiple times he came home in a diaper so saturated that it must have been on half the day and socks soaked in urine. There are some amazing, seasoned teachers at Tiny Tot and I am thankful for them; I wish everyone shared the same love and compassion for the children.

They have small class size and friendly staff. I also love the diversity of education, not to mention the playrooms for when outdoor playtime is not feasible. It says a lot when several of the students are the teachers and directors kids.

I have been taking my infant daughter to this center since she was 2 months old. She is now 8 months old and we have decided to remove her from this child care facility due to numerous ongoing issues. This center does not follow regulations with ratios. On more occasions than not there are more than 5 babies to 1 teacher in the infant classroom. This specific issue has been addressed more than 3 times between myself and my husband talking with both the director and owner. As recent as yesterday 2/23/17, they continued to leave the infant teacher out of ratio with 6 infants/toddlers to 1 teacher when I came to pick up my daughter at 5:00 PM.The owner and director do not provide the needed support to their teachers (many individual teachers at the center are great). They will often place untrained teachers into the infant classroom not understanding regulations with ratios, proper diaper changing, and disposing of a bottle after 1 hour.In the 6 months of my daughter attending this facility I have witnessed several violations and safety issues including:My daughter and another infant being bottled propped in a bouncer and swing using blankets when she was 2 and a half months old (significant safety issue that could have resulted in baby choking and leading to death).I have witnessed teachers change infants diapers without gloves and not washing their hands after the diaper change (major violation and infection control issue). The infant classroom is left out of ratio at least on a weekly basis. My husband notes that frequent times in the morning when he drops off our daughter the teacher is left out of ratio with 7 babies to 1 teacher. Often times in the evening the teacher is left out of ratio with 6 babies to 1 teacher as well. This is not a child care center that demonstrates professionalism. Management does not address issues or communication with parents in a professional way. It is evident that teachers do not receive proper training on expectations with communication with parents. Many times I enter my daughters classroom not knowing the teacher (there is not a consistent teacher in the infant classroom in the mornings or evenings because they are always understaffed). The teacher does not introduce themselves and they know nothing about the needs of my child. In addition to these concerns, there was never any written communication or true verbal communication from management about our daughters transitioning schedule to the older infant classroom. Which it is still up for debate as to whether or not she has transitioned and this has been an issue since the beginning of January 2017.There are 3 teachers that I can trust at this center. Outside of those teachers I feel very uncomfortable with the center in its entirety. You may ask, if I have had so many issues why did my daughter attend there for so long? Only because we were told by management that issues were being worked on and improvements were happening. Also other respectable centers had a lengthy waitlist and both my husband and I work full-time.In my profession, I am a social worker and am concerned about the safety and well-being of the children in this center due to the negligence of management. The teachers are great but not in any type of position to succeed due to not having adequate support from the director and owner.

When my daughter attended tiny tots the place was chaotic. At drop off in the morning it was never a calm environment due to what I assume was from people calling in .which seems to be a frequent thing there there were kids on top of kids, my 5 year old daughter mentioned that her teacher was always on her phone and yelled alot at the kids and told her she was bad countless times which made me very upset. The cleanliness of the place is terrible. If you want a cheap daycare who will enroll your child even though there is to many kids this is the place your looking for. I dont think all the teachers are bad and for the most part mean well but there is always a new face which makes it hard to get to know the staff. They show they have a basement but the kids cant use it for whatever reason which leaves them stuck in a room for the entire day. I pulled my child out in june.

So the most recent review is written by the director who took over in June 2017. She has been there for half a year now and has never formally introduced herself to me nor has really spoken to me, How are you Have a good day anything to that effect, hasnt said anything complimentary about my child. The one time she has spoken to me about him was probably a month ago. The previous director was quite the opposite and very friendly, always greeted with a smile and pleasantries about my child. I cant tell if the new director doesnt like me or what, sometimes she makes me feel like I am NOT a paying customer. For that reason I am considering other options. The center overall seems not as clean, nor smells pleasant sometimes, the rooms are dark they definitely need more light, and things just seem disheveled sometimes-and no one bothers to straighten or make it look nice. The staff are nice, communicate well for the most part- some could work on their communication skills- just like the director. Many of the staff have not formally introduced themselves to me which can be a little unsettling. They could also work on paying a little more attention to the kids are far as appearance, Ive picked up my child with a dirty face/clothes more than I have wished too- this is something I think they are working on however. I have a feeling that they dont hand wash after diaper changes or wash the kids hands after diapering and before eating. Not something that I KNOW for sure, but Im willing to bet 90% they are not. All kids at any age can at least try to hand wash if given the opportunity, even if its just letting the water run over their hands. Some of the staff need to watch their tone, volume and wording when speaking to the kids. Ive witnessed a floater refer to a child in my kids room as a Dude... will you stop and others in classes where I can hear them speaking at a voice level that could be considered slightly loud from the hallway. In addition to that the new director has implemented new technology which is fine and to be expected in this day and age, sometimes I think she relies on that and other written means of communication when she could use that as an opportunity to formally communicate with parents- SOMETIMES. I do like the pajama days, gross motor gym and computer lab downstairs- those amenities are attractive. Overall I think that they-mainly the director, could benefit from some MAJOR communication training/clean paint and brighten the rooms/bathrooms. Im sure there are better places in the area that equivalent in rates, Ill be looking soon

RevisedSince I have moved my infant back to Kinder Care Klondike he has reall improved. He is talking more socializing more. When I pick my daughter up Sharisse is the only teacher who speaks to me or my husband. She is very passionate about the kids. I think Angela is good but is just in the middle of the crap the owners pull.Just recently withdrew my son out of full time care there. Some staff is great some not so much. The workers talk to the kids 10x crazy, yell at them and act like that is ok. I never seen them actually teaching, or doing any kind of art work in my sons class. One time I came to check on him and the teachers had propped up a cell phone for the kids to watch Paw Patrol. My daughter likes the care since she is only there a few hours before and after school.
