Has a great medical program! Many of the staff members became family. The staff there cares so much. They help any of their students when they need it. Yes there was students who didn’t care about their education who brought down the school but that’s at nearly any school. I was sad to leave if I could go back to end my high school years there I would. Don’t let the good and bad be labeled as the same because Valley is truely better than many people think!

Valley needs to be closed down. My daughter goes there and its not a school for children that is serious about their education. She has came home and told me a boy was threatening to shoot another boys whole family up. A boy walked up and pushed and tried to fight my daughter. I have made several calls to speek to the eighth grade principal. Which is Cindy Howard and emailed still no return call. Its sad when your daughter tells you. Mom they dont care she will not call you back! So if you are looking for a good school. If you can afford private school thats the way to go. But I will be making a trip to valley if no call back!

Theres a few awful teachers but the ones that are good make it worthwhile. I would say they arent very equiped for medical situations because there is no on duty nurse, and there is definently a drugs and bullying issue but it has gotten much better ever since Rob Stevenson became the principle. There are drug dogs that come in once a month, and now that the dress code has relaxed bullying has decreased, in my opinion because now we wear clothing that flatters us and our body types. The uniform before did not suit everyone well and did cause self esteem issues and negative comments. School is decently clean as well.

In 1971 I graduated and my younger sister, Shirley Ann Stockwell graduated 4 years later as she was 4 years younger and was born 1958. We both loved our high school years at Valley High School. We really enjoyed graduating and going on to Western Kentucky University and to University of Louisville. I later taught at Ole Miss and at U of L. Rita Ruth Stockwell

This is where I graduated back in 1978 and I cant believe how much I have missed it❤️I now live in Elizabethtown at MorningView Gardens (which is an assisted living home)I am so happy to see my old school and it does my heart ❤️ good 😊 to see this beautiful school and I am sure that nothing has changed in the last 40 years since I am able to see my granddaughter and her daughter now that I will be happy to turn 67 years old.

Wow where to begin, when I went to school here from 1994-1998 it was a blur those years were filled with LSD, 40 ounce beers, blunts and a whole lot of talking back. I would often drink a 40 ounce beer and arrive to school drunk and ask my self why am I here? the teachers seemed to care less about our education and not want to deal with us and rightfully so we were a bunch of dipshit dopeys who just wanted to hang out at each others house after school and get high. But believe me some of the fights I witnessed will go down in history as some of the best. The school did have a really nice empty pool that we used to skateboard in late at night. The cops would come and we would run our asses off into the back neighborhoods, good times! I miss my youth and this was certainly a big part of it, stay in school!! Dont do drugs! and prepare for a future is my advice to you all, this world out here is much different now after having grown up.

Is getting better but has a long way to go. Some teachers are lazy but so are some parents.

Students at vallly have always darted in front of cars. it is like hit me i dont care and i can sue you. go by valley when school lets out or on the start of the day and you can see for yourself how the students are. cars cant stop real fast when someone walks right in front of them. tickets should be given for student who wald without looking. they can also get suspension. russ
