Our four year old has participated in the Little Dragon Kids Class for the last few months, and we are so happy. Master Kim is really great with the kids, teaching them important things like discipline and respect while also having a ton of fun. Its great athletically too with good body awareness and strength. I would definitely recommend these classes for younger kids!

We love Master Kim and all of the staff at Louisville Taekwondo Family Center. My 6 year old daughter started a few weeks ago and she loves going and is learning quickly. They’re so good with kids! She’s becoming more confident and assertive. I also love that she’s breaking out of her normal girly activities and found something to channel her energy into. Highly recommend it.

Master Kim is amazing with kids—and adults! Hes disciplined, patient, funny, encouraging and very skilled. My kids and I are learning so many important life skills, not just martial arts. I am thoroughly impressed! Master Kim is a remarkable teacher and person. He is knowledgeable, disciplined, kind, supportive, encouraging and is always focused and interested. My grandson has been going for two years. I have gone to each class with him this year and watched. I have come to admire Master Kim deeply and adore watching the children progress, learn values add self esteem and have fun.

Family friendly with a one head instructor who teaches all the classes himself. Master Kim has a way with children and adults alike with his engaging, positive teaching style. For the price, you get more than just a class, you learn about the Korean culture, morals, and values. I highly recommend this place to anyone!

So Ive been going for 5-6 years now. Ive seen other people praise Master Kim and I will also. Master Kim is strict yet at the same time can be kind. I truly think I wouldnt be where i am as of today if anyone else taught me. Master Kim has done so much for his students and you can tell he cares a lot about teaching others. I would now just repeat what others have already said. The last thing I will say is that if you are new, you should take this chance. Thank you Master Kim for teaching me teakwondo and shaping me into the person I am today.

This is the best taekwondo studio around. Master Kim is incredibly kind and patient and is also exceptional at teaching. He provides an excellent workout and more importantly, he pushes everybody to be the best versions of themselves in and out of the studio. Furthermore, the community here is very friendly and supportive. Students are not viewed simply as students but rather are treated as family.I believe everybody should learn some martial arts and self defense and I highly recommend Louisville TKD Family Center to be the place to come to learn and practice for beginners and experts alike.

I was a patron of this business for 6.5 years and the way they are currently handling their billing and contract process is utterly heart breaking and unethical. Sadly it appears to me the business owners just care about your money.

Very fun and a great workout. Next to swiming, Tae Kwon do is the best way to exercise. There is a wonderful community and master Kim is a great, kind and motivational teacher. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone. I have come here for four years and I really enjoy it. There are many different kinds of classes you can come to and awesome events like belt testings and picnic /demonstrations and sparring with student from other school that teach taekwondo. I also learn about Korean culture and language. Six out of five stars!

Dont join here.There are a couple of others who have posted about the business practices of this TKD center. Im really disappointed in Mr. Kims refusal to engage with us to discuss ongoing billing when my son is no longer attending his classes. Businesses like this are built on reputation and referrals -I cant recommend this place now that I know he only cares about money. This is especially troublesome as we spent thousands over the last several years -this doesnt matter and requests to discuss the matter have been met with silence. Very poor business practices.
