Great school. The teachers and staff really do an amazing job. My son loves his school.

Haha, I Went here like a couple years ago and Ive gotta say that the school looks more like a prison now. What happened to the butterfly garden? Or the cool dolphin shark thing or whatever it was in the back of the school? I wish the school had its original look instead of this new bland and plain look.

Mendoza elementary is the GREATEST !!! The teachers and staff are all professional and loving. Look forward to my son going here for the next 5 years !!!!

The teachers are so kind and generous

If I could give this school zero stars I would, this is the worst school ever! They put my child and other children so far behind for 3rd grade I wish I could sue them!! Im so thankful we left. Now my child is starting 3rd grade all over. In 2 semesters my daughter had 3 different teachers. I volunteered to help because i wanted to know what was going on and why she was falling behind. I found out it wasnt just her but the entire class. I NEVER recieved graded homework. Never saw a spelling test and when asked about them, i was told they r thrown away. While observing the class the teacher had them do work then they graded it and asked to put it in the recycle bin. After receiving a letter that a 3rd teacher was coming I called the principal to basically just tell me that the 2nd teacher was a SUB and the parents were never informed of that. They had to hire a 3rd teacher whom my daughter only had a few weeks b4 we left that district. Hopefully she makes progress but I feel bad for the kids. I would of switched her if I would have known how disfunction this school was. We relocated in January 2017 and Im sad to see that my child has no clue about multiplication, how to write proper sentences, cursive, penmenship looks like kindergarten writing. At this new school Ive placed her in tutoring and special classes to help her catch up. Rating this school the worst school ever is the least I could do to warn parents.
